June has arrived and that means the start of the Queen and Adam North American summer tour. It kicks off on the 23rd in Phoenix, AZ stopping in 25 cities before heading to UK and Europe in the late fall. After a busy May on colorful carpets – Nation Concert Day, ASCAP Awards, Buzzfeed Queer Prom and the Captain Underpants premiere – Adam will now be focusing his attention on new music and fashions for the tour. First stop London for rehearsals and then back to LA while the road crew dismantles the stage set to ship to Phoenix.

Last week Ron told me, out of the blue, that he realized that the yellow wrap sweater he gave me as a present during the Trespassing tour wasn’t really my colour. He said he understood why I hadn’t worn it (Note: he has great taste and I wear everything he has ever given me so the lack of it’s appearance must have stuck out.)
IMHO the most excessive flight of the bumblebee happened at his hometown concert at Del Mar in 2013. We had yellow glow sticks and beach-ball size balloons, black and yellow paddles, yellow towels with black ribbons etc. Someone had the idea that we should synchronize the waving of the items. It was totally nuts!!

Idol rumor is probably wrong. Other talk is a release date for a new single…maybe August. This sounds more plausible.
A new single would be a “biggish” surprise.
American Idol judge would be HUGE!

Just to bring everyone down to earth on the American Idol rumours: Katy Perry’s tour break takes place between February 5 and May 2, 2018. That is probably when the show will air live. Adam’s Aussie tour is right in the middle of that period. He is not available when the show will need live judges.
More likely, Adam has something else going on. As mils put it: “new music, whatever it is, imma fan for life!!!”

Jmho, but he has a hard enough time getting his music played on the radio with promotion, much less without it.
