June has arrived and that means the start of the Queen and Adam North American summer tour. It kicks off on the 23rd in Phoenix, AZ stopping in 25 cities before heading to UK and Europe in the late fall. After a busy May on colorful carpets – Nation Concert Day, ASCAP Awards, Buzzfeed Queer Prom and the Captain Underpants premiere – Adam will now be focusing his attention on new music and fashions for the tour. First stop London for rehearsals and then back to LA while the road crew dismantles the stage set to ship to Phoenix.

    OK, I’m excited to see what they got! Hope it’s worth dealing with record heat in Phoenix, I’m sure it will be! Shoot, I’d be happy with the old show it’s been so long.
    Not quite Debbie Downer but I’m also trying to keep my expectations low. I know I’ll love it though no matter what!

    Brian, stop dropping teasers! The excitement is already building and I have to wait until February !!!!
    I have said in the past that I would try not to watch too much so I would get a surprise. Well that’s not happening this time. I will just give in to the whole thing and by the time I go I will know the whole show to the second, and still love every split second. I got exactly the seats I wanted and am going with a friend who knows how to have a good time.
    Roll on 2018 !!!!

    Thanks, Brian. Now I’m so worked up with excitement and anticipation that I won’t be able to sleep for the next week. I’m flying out to LA on Friday to spend the weekend before the Hollywood Bowl concerts with some friends. I’ll be really busy all weekend. I’m​ going to try to avoid watching the videos over the weekend so I can get the full impact of the spectacular opening and the full show in Hollywood on Monday. We’ll see how that works out!

    No planes taking off from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix this afternoon because of the heat. Wonder how QAL is getting there? Private plane? During the late evening when it’s somewhat cooler? Maybe as week goes on temp will go lower.

    eta: cnn says just the smaller CRJ aircraft that hold 60-ish people. Big planes no problem.
