June is an all Q+AL month with 10 shows across Europe and then it’s a summer break for everyone. After six months of touring, I bet Adam will be glad to get home and relax for a few months – and that will give us time to do what we’ve been putting off for awhile…

    Terrible news coming out of Florida Cry. The rest of the world is now experiencing what we have been going through here for so many years. Senseless attacks coming out of nowhere on innocent people . I imagine that Adam and the boys will say something about the attack at the show tonight.

    What is the World turning into? So many attacks, so many have died. I fear where this will all end. Senseless attacks on innocent ppl…market places, schools, clubs, concerts…the murderers attacking the public life trying to spread fear and hate….causing new attacks.

    It makes me feel so helpless, thinking and crying about the loss of life, joy and happiness. Countless families are being destroyed.

    Nothing will ever be the same.

    What can I say?
    Our gun-happy NRA-worshipping governor and legislature have been working hard to legislate guns everywhere, looser purchasing laws, carrying laws, and Congress letting the assault weapons ban expire while constantly proclaiming that Obama was taking everyone’s guns, has led to a proliferation of ownership. Even my recently expired ex-son in law had an AK 47. They are killing machines – allowing the death of 50 people and wounding over 50 in minutes. Fast easy way to settle any dispute or vent prejudice.
    There are so many gun deaths in this state every day you would feel sick. Children shot, shooting others, angry husbands, boy or girlfriends, friends shooting friends by accident, et al.
    A tiny minimum actual criminal shootings, but mostly drive-bys with assault weapons.
    Yes, criminals can get weapons, but most of these killers WERE NOT CRIMINALS – they were legal owners up to the incident.
    So sad. We are in mourning now, and will carry this stigma forever.
    I worry so much about Adam now, in those open fields everywhere and those clubs. It can happen anywhere as we have seen.

    I had heard that there had been another Orlando shooting last night, but had no idea of the extent until I woke up just now…I just can’t take it in….this one is hitting me really hard as my son is currently in Orlando…..now my heart is racing over fear for him….
    I just do not understand the US gun laws…all those poor innocent people.

    Thanks TLKC , turquoisewaters, mils, and anyone else here who has been thinking of me. It is the reality of life here, but I have to say that the security precautions that are taken here are much better than in the rest of the world. I basically feel safe and protected unless a war is going on or a wave of terror .

    It was a very sad day today. I’m so heart-broken that I couldn’t make myself to listen to the stream or watch the IOW, UK concert. Turned off the TV and recorded the Tony Awards Show to watch it later.

    asif….he’s fine, thanks for asking, he wasn’t in central Orlando, staying at his girlfriends in the suburbs….but he’s shocked as is everyone. He just doesn’t understand the US gun laws and has had many ‘debates’ about in the last 2 years since he’s been living there. This latest shooting, and the constant calls for we need more guns, is making him question whether he will stay in the US after college finishes….he was planning at least an extra year.

    That video to OOL has had me in tears.

    A poster on mj’s says Adam lost a very good friend in the shooting, but didn’t go any further.

    Such a sad time this 2016 has been so far, so many deaths, and hitting home for me, can we please go to 2017? Maybe a better year, only half a year to go. So much sadness in the world. Where can we go to be happy? Well I still love seeing and watching Adam, he must be sad too, Im glad I have Trespass and Shady! My pups! Big Smile

    I’ll be on the road and won’t be able to watch the streams or play hopscotch on periscopes of the rest of the QAL shows.

    My nephew is finishing his MBA’s degree and wants to see more of the US before going back home.
    I’ll be his tour guide.

    Too bad QAL are not playing in the US this summer.
    I was hoping and wishing for them so hard.

    And if they play here in KC you all are welcome to stay with me. My DD found her new place and moved out. Now I have 2 spare bedrooms. And I can cook good curry. Grin

    Let’s hope it will happen. KC people are sport nuts so we have big stadiums and arenas. The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Guns & Roses are playing here.
