June is an all Q+AL month with 10 shows across Europe and then it’s a summer break for everyone. After six months of touring, I bet Adam will be glad to get home and relax for a few months – and that will give us time to do what we’ve been putting off for awhile…

Hi ALL, sorry for being AWOL for so long but RL has taken over my life. Nothing bad, just busy. I just came to tell you all about the announcement (still unofficial) that QAL are coming here on September 12th! (I see that someone beat me to it, lol.) It was just on the entertainment TV show. They strung me along throughout the whole show with hints and snippets until at the end they gave the date. It will be in a park in Tel Aviv where they have the big shows, like the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. It holds 50,000. So whoever wants to come, start planning. Welcome one and ALL.

Hate to even bring this up. So much dislike on twitter this morning about the new QAL announcements. “why is he playing with these old guys” “it’s so boring” “he should get a new PR team so they can promo Adam more”, “it’s not new, it’s not fresh”,etc etc etc.
I think they expect another album NOW! And promo…he was on almost every single talk show. What else could he do? And what did it do? Nothing! Either people didn’t like the music (if they even heard TOH) or don’t like him…which don’t think is the case. And they are tweeting him about their dislike of him with Queen!
Queen has millions and millions of fans. Look at the sold out stadiums! And Adam is a part of all this. And the $$$$$! Wonderful! They are not gonna be around forever. Plus Adam has that core base of fans from Idol. Millions here too!

They just don’t get it. Follow the MONEY. How can Adam turn down the opportunity to make way more money that he can working his ass off on his and still play mostly to small venues. Adam himself even said on the small venues I don’t even break even.
There as so many theories as to why he just can’t get the BIG break in the US but would these peeps that are complaining turn down the opportunity that he has right now. I doubt it!
Just a bunch of ruminations –
Been watching all those comments, too, luval – really not sure what to think. There’s no denying the money from the Queen concerts (with the added benefit that he obviously enjoys working with the guys and performing for these huge audiences) is a positive. Seems some are afraid that is what he’s becoming known for instead of his own music.
Perhaps the DL deal would have offset that to an extent. Can’t help but think that was a disappointment to him (even, though, for me sitting through DL was not something I’d look forward to). From what I’ve been able to gather it was JZ behind NJ that changed the lineup, and NJ’s constantly being “pimped” on shows and radio (second-rate talent, imo). Wonder how successful FN will be, as a third act has been added to pump things up.
How much payola and influence is involved in radio remains a mystery to me – but wouldn’t be at all surprised if they occur. And, then, there’re are the sudden hits, like JT’s mediocre rip-off of “Happy” that are played to death because it’s JT.
As one poster noted – hate to think he’s disappointed in the success of the album after having MM on board. But, then, he’ll be cryin’ all the way to the bank. And who knows what the future holds – Adam is so multi-talented.
Wouldn’t be surprised, though, if the initial impression of him has taken a long time to dissipate – it was so strong and still see remnants of that reaction occasionally. Don’t know how that factors into radio.
It’s just hard seeing this extraordinary talent not getting the success it deserves when lesser “talents” are all over the place.
But in for the long run – the boy always surprises –
