After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Thanks for the heads-up about MJ’s Chatty Man article, Axxxel. I went over and posted a comment. It’s always good to keep up Adam’s rep for high response rate. Big Smile

    IMHO, the shirt was a bit of an odd choice but Adam is so good-looking he can get away with a lot.

    After having another look at the RTL performance, I can’t help but feel that the shirt wasn’t just clashing with the tattoos. His guitarist is wearing a cowboy hat and a poncho, his dancers are Goth and Adam is….Hawaiian?

    It doesn’t matter in the end because his vocals were terrific and the song went to #3 on iTunes but the concept for this performance was a bit loose.

    Knowing Adam’s generosity with his jewellery and clothing, methinks this poncho might be Adam’s and he “styled” his guitarist. Getting ready backstage before an Adam set must be a fun time.

    Quick hi from Helsinki! I arrived yesterday, had a drink with some finnberts in city centerand then headed to my friend. We had a nice picnic outdoors with group of friends. Now running late, concert starts in 1,5 hours and I am shower wet… Excited! There’s a rumor he might be the last performer – based on that some pyro guy had said Adam may get surprised. There’s fireworks in the end (ends 10pm Finn time) it would be so cool if he’s last performer!

    Oh I totally agree, I feel like this poncho was styled just for these performances, I just find it funny Adam was wearing it while traveling.

    TBH, I have not looked at a lot of photos of Adam for several months – hate facial hair, tattoos, etc etc I have posted it all and apologized for same because I know that I am in the minority and usually kept my thoughts to myself and just never clicked on photos unless there was a specific piece of visual interest that was noted by someone.

    BUT…I just watched The RTL performance.
    Damn, he is gorgeous. Adam has always been handsome – those eyes! – but the body could always use a little toning, he didn’t always move well, there were a lot of unfortunate wardrobe choices, there were hair and makeup mis-cues…but I was blown away by his appearance in the RTL vid. I am obsessed with GT but actually muted the sound so that I could just concentrate on the pretty. No, not pretty…Adam has grown up to become a catch-your-breath handsome and distinguished man, confident and comfortable in his own skin
    I actually loved the Hawaiian shirt for some reason…the hair and the beard have found their happy symbiosis while I was away pouting, the tattoos are still definitely not my cuppa but his body is so amazingly fit and toned, his movements lithe…our lovable dorky duck has turned into one helluva swan.

    I have been thinking of Leila, and how she must feel when she sees him. My younger son has always been attractive, but yesterday when he walked through the door I looked up and I think my heart stopped for a minute. The gorgeous, confident man who strode in wearing his perfectly tailored suit had completely shed every remnant of boyish awkwardness. It wasn’t the suit, that was only one superficial element in the transformation. And somehow I missed seeing the process…I don’t even know when it happened.

    So when I saw Adam in the RTL vid, I thought of Leila and what must be her feelings when she sees the perfect swan that her son has almost suddenly become. I bet her heart stops, too, every time he comes into a room.

    Kradamour what a wonderful story you shared with all of us….

    Maybe with your son, the progress may have been babysteps, with the occasional jump…

    As rs said… we were able to follow the progress with Adam… Remember when Brian (was it Adam or Roger) who said that something was different during the 2nd night in the Hammersmith Apollo concert ? Also the 3 of them mentioned the iheart radio in Las Vegas as another turning point….

    Kradamour: I thought this many times. I think we did really great falling for the super talented super sweet albeit a bit weird and awkward guy during the idol days. Now he is getting prettier and prettier by the day, but he is just as talented and sweet as ever. #Bonus
