After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    This Kanye v Adam is all over the net!!! Five minutes ago, my husband brought it up on his iPad with absolutely no mention of it from me. This is the type of publicity that you just can’t buy!! And it will continue if someone starts a petition for QAL to play at Glastonbury next year!

    Great day for GT: 1 new AC add, and SIX new HAC adds! Movin’ on up……
    Very good conversation on the numbers thread at MJ’s about GT’s good progress and why another single is not needed right now.
    Will be interesting to see sales finals for week 2 tomorrow.
    They’re saying that normal drop before would be about 68%, but that now in the streaming era it’s an unknown.

    Well. Today I went to my local mall to my local HMV store to buy TOH cd’s, as I have been out of radio range for 10 days.
    But HMV was gone!!!! Yikes. Now I will have to go downtown to one of only 3 stores left in this city of more than a million people. I guess none of the half million or more who live south of downtown own cd players! Shock Pain

    OK, it’s tuesday. 74%-ish is in for album sales.

    TOH dropped to 23. I really thought it would stay in the teens or top 20. i don’t think Trespassing dropped that much.

    Also, GT got 3 more Top40 US station adds today, and 2 Canada HAC adds plus 1 more Canada Top40. Go little Ghosts, go!!!
    It took a while for WWFM to get there too – slow and steady wins! And TOH is out there too on the BB Dance/Digital!! Yay!
