After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Luval if you are serious about wearing the crop top, try wearing it over a black leotard. The leotard will stay smooth and cover your tummy, and the leotard fabric will be slick enough for the top to glide over it without bunching or riding up.
    I might try that, too, actually, but I think I want the pillow.

    WOW! Both of the LOGO performances were amazing. It was great to see how people responded to EITN – a lot of nodding, bopping along and a standing ovation at the end. There is a rumour coming from the DJ Hollywood Hamilton that Adam is thinking of making EITN his next single. We will have to wait and see but he is performing it a lot and it is very catchy, instantly ear-wormy – perfect for radio. It also highlights his vocal capacity.

    Too early for a new single, though, and Adam could change his mind a thousand times.

    That Logo Evil in the Night performance is one of the best live performances from this album, I think. Maybe the best. Would love EITN to be the next single, totally agree on its ear worm factor, I sing bits of it all day…

    Wilkes-Barre! Loved seeing that post (at 12:39) about his sales there! That was such an amazing event to kick off Trespassing! One of the historic performances. Thanks to Luval‘s analytical skills, we stayed in Adam’s hotel and there were several elevator shares and other casual encounters with glamberts. That is where the Duke got his tie signed! The next day, we discovered a wonderful vintage department store and had lunch in their tearoom, and Adamized and I bought chocolate covered sea salt caramels and Nkd bought a ring.
    Right after, Adam wore the spikey shorts at National Harbor…lots of ALLers there, too, it is where I met cwm and had a brief encounter with Balenciaga safety pin lady.
    So many great memories evoked by that one little post!

    I am torn between TOH & EITN. I think he would have gotten the same audience reaction if he sang TOH. It’s such a summer song IMO. Am leaning towards TOH for next single but if it’s EITN I’ll be ok with it. Am afraid TOH will never be a single if it’s not released now. That Adam signature note at the end did it for me. And at GMA he took it up a notch!

    Am listening to the album TOH right now before heading out. I really think Underground would be a perfect single later on. Better than There I Said it IMO. So soulful & current.

    I love Underground, too, luval. It takes time to catch on but it is more ear-wormy that GT. It would make a great single. More than half the CD would make great singles. Whatever single Adam and WB pick next, it will be a pleasure to Spotify the heck out of it.

    The songs I liked on first listen: TOH, UG, EITN, Lucy.

    The rest took me a few times…especially GT and Rumors but eventually I liked them all!

    Hi guys, I’ve been lurking and trying to catch up, so busy, and Adam’s so busy.

    Highlights: Equality!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy. So proud. ( Downer, my “Governor” will announce his run this week and clearly stated he will propose a Constitutional Amendment against Equality. I will be working on his anti-campaign, again.).

    Toronto Glamberts and their private meet and greets! Yaya for you all. Ron, TLKC and M.

    Logo greatness. EITN and GT were greeted with standing O’s. Love that. Both videos are great, and my DVR has more Adam in it. It is purring with joy.

    Another highlight? Went to my much loved and talked about beach yesterday for a full day of sun and exercise.( Walked miles in knee deep soft, sandy bottom water ) . So what’s the highlight Mils?

    Well, since you asked, I happened to put on the chart topping hit of an album The Original High whilst driving. I did not say who the artist was. Just played it. Loud.

    Looked over at hubby. He was tapping his foot, smiling, and knee tapping during GT, OH, ALN. Then, he asked ” Who is singing this? ” Silly silly man. As if I listen to anybody else ….

    He loved the whole album. He asked to listen to it again while driving home. He responded best to TISI , Rumors, Underground, After Hours, and Light. He doesn’t like rock. Leans more toward New Age ( YUCK ) but it is kinda similar to EDM….He really liked Lucy.

    Funny, Adam shows so many vocal colors, hubby asked in the middle of the album, who was singing. He thought there was another singer!! Honestly, it was during a lower pitched song, can’t recall which one.

    What a week, and promo isn’t over for months, overseas, then, who knows what? Tour tour tour tour tour. PLEASE.

    Need a one-off in the middle of our country. I’m gonna keep all my whatsis crossed until it happens.

    Off to my treadmill then an outdoor art and music festival.

    Luval, ITA, your faves are my faves on first listen. I do love the whole album now though.

    I think EITN will be his next single, simply because he has been performing it live every chance he gets.

    However, Rumors will likely also be a single, simply to cash in on the Tove Lo thing.

    Maybe he’ll have different singles in different countries, we’ve seen that before. Sleepwalker in Canada for instance.

    TISI, would certainly cash in on the Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran ballad bandwagon. I am nuts cuckoo loco and plum crazy for that song.

    I’m super into Lucy lately. Wishing that it were longer and had even more guitar. I can only imagine it live with a surprise pop in by Dr. May. It has a moment of Adam and the guitar being as one. Love that so much.

    Eternify was a way to game Spotify by looping an artist’s songs non-stop. Suppposedly, the labels were using it to rack up $$$ by playing their artists’ songs on loop.

    Last week, word got out and fans started to use it. Some Glamberts did switch to it but a few were sceptical that it would be allowed for long. Turns out they were right. Spotify shut it down.

    From the message, it sounds as though eternify is now limited to 30 seconds/snippets.

    ITA about Rumours, mils. It will probably be a consolidating single at the back end, when Adam and Tove Lo have both made solid, solo runs on their respective albums.

    I read somewhere that the CD sales really kick in when the 3 and single comes out – people begin to think that they might as well buy the whole damn thing. If TOH is not the next single then it has to come in there. It would also be great to see the title track mounting the charts in time for Christmas gift-giving. #CDSINTHESTOCKING

    I’m not gone yet, but, wouldn’t it be cool if TISI were the next single? Adam’s never had a ballad on the radio. That song just slays vocally, lyrically, and sonically. Love it so much. It just is so raw and pure.

    TISI must have a place somewhere because it is listed on the CD sticker. Maybe someone is going to use it – for a TV show or a movie or SYTYCD. Who knows? He obviously plans to highlight it in some way.

    TLKC, I was slated to volunteer at Pridefest yesterday afternoon, but it was rained out…the city closed the waterfront park and ejected everyone because of A dangerous storm.

    A lot of people were disappointed that the concert was canceled last night (En Vogue) but the boat parade happened in the morning, and there was a block party Friday night at our city arena, so there was still plenty of opportunity to celebrate!

    So good to hear about your husband… Hope I will reach the same effect one day in my close environment.. if I can get hold on the CD… It is not yet in the shops… fingers crossed…

    Well, EITN is the one song I’m not that fond of, lol. I can’t see it being the next single, as on both YT and Spotify it lags pretty far behind ALN which has about 30% more views/listens and was even spontaneously trending on the Twitter BB chart. To me ALN or TOH are great summer grooves with relatable lyrics, even though Adam seems to like singing EITN.
    And I much prefer his really stunning performance of Underground AND ALN and TOH at the iHeart Theater over the rather easy, belty EITN. j/s….IMHO…… Devil Evil Grin Devil
