After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Just saw Adam on The Morning Show TO. he was wearing the same outfit he had on the day we met him at ET Canada. Both shows are Global so they must have had him all day.

    The interviewer loves GT and said that they had a song of summer discussion and she may have to change her vote to GT because she loves it so much. They showed a lot of the video.

    They also talked about Another Lonely Night.

    There were the usual Idol and QAL questions but one of the questions yielded new info (to me anyway.) They asked him if there were any behind-the-scenes changes as the season built that suggested he was gaining the attention of TPTB. Adam said that the label executives from 19 started coming forward with lots of ideas and suggestions.

    Hilary Diff’s Sparks is also debuting on the Hot100, at 92. She is well behind Adam but methinks her fans aren’t happy about it so we will have to watch the polls. Grin

    SCOTUS is about 15 minutes away from announcing today’s decisions. The court issues decisions throughout June, usually on Mondays. Today and tomorrow have been added to the calendar because they are behind. We could have Marriage Equality today, tomorrow or Monday.

    Okay no decision today on Marriage Equality but they did announce the other major decision for this term so there is a real possibility that ME will be announced tomorrow. (Two big decisions in one day not likely.)

    OMG! I feel so bad. A fan tweeted Morning Show Toronto to ask when Adam would be on. I tweeted him at 9am that Adam was coming up. The fan must have been nearbye and he ran over. He sent me a tweet saying the “it was pre-recorded sucks!”

    Are you getting the promotional page, retjenny? Scroll down to the very bottom and click on the ENTER SITE button in the centre.

    They have made the purchase page the default screen for the site at the moment and the usual header section isn’t there. It is confusing but the entry button is there at the bottom.

    Well, for what it’s worth, just bought 2 tickets to the Splashion event in Miami. No idea what it will be like! But to hear some new music live will be fun. And surely they will work in other promo here around it!

    retjenny, I was just on AdamOfficial, and doesn’t show any “presale” for that event. Funny, there is a presale for the album release day July 1 in Japan.
    Also funny, both ticket links lead me to a link to get a ticket finder sort of app on the Apple Store (using the iPad). Don’t know if this is a new thing.
    Anyway, now the sign in is with your email, not your ID like before. And I forgot password, so clicked on that and instantly got an email with a link to create a new password, then got in easily.
    So, I’m thinking Adam must be heading to Japan tomorrow or very soon, just to get over jet lag and do promo. The Trailblazer event is tonight, (on TV Saturday) followed by the Marquee thing.
    He has been enormously popular in Japan and probably wants to reinvigorate those fans. I remember when QAL arrived at the airport in Osaka and he was smiling next to Roger and Brian when a TV person asked him to step aside and they showed just Bri and Roger together. His smile vanished, and I was FURIOUS! I think it hurt his feelings.

    Thanks riskylady – I found a ticket master site that is selling presale tickets at 10:00 pdt – but they usually ask for a presale code.
    Im going to guess at “ghost town” or original high”. Someone on twitter suggest “Trevor Project”

    Riskylady – the venue shows only about 1000 seats and the radio station that is sponsor it is giving away contest tickets. So, not really much chance of getting them, but I’m going to try anyway. It is only about 70 miles from our house.

    I notice the “requestadamlambert” posted at 12:44pm doesn’t mention streaming on youtube. But the link I posted at 10:05am says stream on youtube…that it counts for for Billboard hot 100.

    What to do? Which is correct? Hate to stream where it really doesn’t count as much.

    YouTube DOES work for BB Hot100 Singles Cart. I think she didn’t mention it because they are pushing Spotify, which covers both the Hot100 and the Top200 Album Chart.

    According to the fans who have researched it, playing the single over and over again is okay (and it counts towards the CD as well.)

    The eternify option is being discussed and a few fans are skeptical. They argue that Spotify would have a way to filter Eternify loops because it is not in their interests to have that going on.

    Two things I read last night:
    – make sure your Spotify is on-line
    – don’t let it shuffle

    (The shuffle thing makes sense in a weird way – if you are shuffling you are not choosing to play the song, even though it is your playlist. Confusing.)

    I guessed at the pass code for the Morongo tickets and got in. It is “ghosttown” It took me one minute to get and all tickets were G O N E – Alas, my heart is a GHOSTTOWN. Smile

    Now are these casino things one-offs? Will he just do a handful of songs like at GMA? Maybe they are testing the waters to see how tickets sales go even for a smaller venue of 1000. 1000 could turn into 2500 maybe then more & more as time goes on.
