After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Just a reminder for anyone buying hard copy CD’s. Check your city for independent record stores to buy TOH. My local one uses sound scan & when you buy one it counts as three!!!

    eta I would call & ask them, of course.

    I am pretty sure the charts combine the numbers for regular and deluxe CD’s glitterpatti. If they didn’t, we would have heard from one of the Lambert 411-ers.

    Do you mean about the record stores, TLKC? Not sure but this happened during Trespassing era too. I posted the other day that when I bought 2 cd’s the guy says I just bought 6! I didn’t prompt him or say anything. Just wanted to support his store. It’s a popular local one. There was one CD left. Maybe I’ll stop down after work tomorrow & see if it’s still there. I will ask this again. This store is mainly a hard rock/goth/anything goes record store and has been around here for decades.

    Perhaps the independents are so small that their figures need to be multiplied by a factor of 3 to show up in the chart numbers? I don’t want to know how they pull that off; but good to know.

    Just listened to the DC Lottery interview. Although it was much of the same stuff I really enjoyed it. There were the usual followers there but you can tell there were new fans too by the questions they asked. Even the one that asked about WWFM seemed like a newby Glambert!

    Gonna keep streaming GT before I go to bed!
