After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    It’s actually an ALL secret and Adam helped.

    Goof grief! There are an awful lot of misspelt words and typo’s in my ET Canada recap. I was so eager to check the HDD charts and today’s SCOTUS decisions that I didn’t proof-read the post. Sorry about that!

    I don’t believe for a second that Swifty is at all concerned with struggling artists, she is just flexing her power, just like she did with Spotify.

    Well it worked. iTunes is ponying up the money for the 3-month period. It made them look bad.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor’s label asked her to do it. A lot of artists, including Adam, have to be happy about this. Adam’s top streaming months this year will be the next three. Why should he lose out?

    I just think the photographer has a valid point, it is a double standard, and whether Apple caved or not, I don’t believe it was about anyone but her. Especially if she is tying up photographers in a contract like that. If it was Adam I would believe it, I just don’t see her doing anything to help others.

    Wow. These HDD updates are coming in fast and furious … now at 82%!

    TOH now at 38,041 … still in second place.

    James Taylor at #1 has reached 75,835.

    Hilary Duff still at 30,000+ for third place.

    OMG it’s 82% reporting Ron. Only James got much out of that report. I am hoping that the last 18% puts Adam over 40,000. That would be so great.

    Hilary and Nate aren’t touching him and no amount of streaming will help them pass.

    This is a weird week for reports. For the last 2 weeks, they were are 76% at 11am Pacific time on Tuesday. They are already past that today.

    P.S. The last 20% or distribution channels might be the smallest volume. It’s hard to know.

    For all I know Taylor is a b*tch and the photographer is Mother Theresa.

    Bottomline, yesterday Taylor used her power to ensure that all artists streamed by a mega-corporation get paid, which is a good thing.

    Bottomline, today, the photographer broke contract confidentiality, which is very unprofessional, and he will pay for it in access and jobs.

    That’s all I’m saying.

    Nate is 7.99 on iTunes Canada. He’s been on sale all week. Actually that might have been a clue that his sales were poor and Adam’s sales were okay. No panicky price-cutting for BB.

    Yes, I know and agree. James Taylor learned to drive on a chariot but this is his FIRST #1 release and I think that he’s more than overdue.

    Would have been great if Adam had two-in-a-row #1 albums on BillBoard but it’s not going to happen.

    Adam has had some experience though with coming in at second place. Wink

    Adam is such a natural on these talk shows. He’s so at ease and relaxed on Entertainment Tonight Canada, you’d think he was in his own living room chatting with friends.

    Same old questions … what’s new about your album? are you single? … but a nice promo for TOH.

    Finding myself watching all the new interviews and re-watched Lyndsey Parker. Just love hearing this man talk.

    LOL. I went online on a break at work, saw TLKC’s post about waiting for him and texted her. We shared several texts and then….BAM!!!!!!!!!

    I can not believe what she and her friends got to experience. Five private minutes. OMFingGee.

    How is she ever going to sleep or function in the next few days? So happy for her and working hard to quell any jealous bones in my body.

    I just remember so well standing next to her and waiting for QAL in Toronto 2 to start, up on the barricade of the thrust. We had so much fun. She was bursting with energy then. I cannot imagine her tonight!!!

    Come to think of it, ahem….her dress rehearsal may very well have been QAL Toronto 2…the way we worked our way to the barricade, shmoozing the security guards, and staking out our spots….right up front so that Killer Queen and Dragon Attack were right in front of our faces!!!

    I can now reveal the “surprise” about Adam from this morning that somehow turned into a “secret” … Big Smile … because the surprise-ee knows about the surprise. Laugh

    First, our dear angeloal has been quite ill lately and was hospitalized with pneumonia. She’s home now but still recuperating.

    One of today’s Glambert’s brought along a Get Well card for angeloal, explained the circumstance to Adam, how much she would have loved to be there, and would he please sign the card. He said, “Of course. What’s her name?” He took the card and then wrote:

    Hi xxxxxx!

    Feel better!

    Love,

    Adam Lambert

    That’s just so touching and so like the Adam we’ve read about and come to know ourselves!

    So, angeloal has her very own personal Get Well card from Adam and she couldn’t be more delighted … and I couldn’t be more delighted for her.

    No, MuchMusic is a good, less than 20, more like a 15 minute walk from my place. It’s where I’m going tomorrow along with TLKC (serving as photographer) and, to my happy surprise, M! I think M plans to be there.

    I won’t be surprised if Adam’s and my paths don’t cross tomorrow but we shall see …

    The only interview that I would hope would NEVER happen would be Howard Stern. Adam is so fracking open and honest, and Howard can be such a slimeball at times, he would get Adam to say things he should never say out loud, and then media media media.

    Now Howard was decent to Gaga, and Gaga performed like a dream for Howard, but, Adam might be a different story.

    Nkd, did you do a recap yet?

    I did a short night of recap after the B&N signing, but not for GMA or the rest of the trip. It seems so anti-climatic now. Everyone else has covered it.
    But thanks for thinking of me sparkle.

    I do have to say that he was quite swoon worthy! OMG, gorgeous! So at ease and charming!
    And that smile with a big Hi! that I got at the signing will be etched in my mind forever! I completely forgot to inspect the tats, which I was wanting to do.
