After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    TLKC Adam had different guitarists in Europe thats for sure. The one on Ellen isnt the one he has with him in New York. Maybe the one we see in New York is his “New Yorker” guitarist? Dont know but he changes his promo band in almost every city. At least for me its like that lol Cant keep up who is when where.

    BTW Ashley changed her Twitter bio. Still a lot of rumors are going around about Tommy and many are really hurtful. Not only against Tommy but Adam too. Makes me sad Frown very sad. They are friends, we dont know shit what happened or will happen. Thats a side of fandom I dont like. Thinking

    Hi Guys. Just finished dinner and will be heading to the show. By the way the show we are seeing is Carole King’s Beautiful. Nkd and her daughter saw The Book of Mormon the other night. Will recap when we get back.

    My 21 yo son was in the car the other day with me…and he put Ghost Town on…said he really loves the song, and that it has helped change his opinion on Adam a bit, has a lot more respect for him now…wishes all his songs could have some deep house on them….. t’was a beautiful momentSmile

    Need to get pack to unpacking…. 40 boxes down…100 to go!!! (actually not sure of exact numbers.but a lot!!)

    Last question before you have to go: You wrapped the tour with Queen earlier this year. Can we assume your own tour is coming up?

    AL: I want to. I have commitments to the end of the year to promote this thing. I’m very fortunate that there’s international interest, so I get to go to all these different places around the world to promote the album. That takes a little while to get that all moving.

    I’m not sure, but, I’ve been super busy in real life, and between work and other obligations, and several late nights lurking, not taking time to post, I just might be kinda caught up.

    Like I said, I’m not sure.

    All I can say is, he has never ever looked or sounded or moved better. EVER. Maybe I just missed him, and am homesick for QAL. ( Happy Anniversary Chicago!!! ) Maybe he is just so happy to be performing his own beautiful music to universal good reviews. Maybe he is genuinely happy to be back in the states and in NYC and being interviewed and seeing his American Glamberts in full force.

    Maybe he is seeing his hard work paying off. He bared his emotions on this album and people love it and identify with it. Maybe he is feeling full force the support of a label who really gets him. Maybe it’s all of this. But, I haveta tell you guys, it shows. He is glowing.

    Michael Strahan probably saw QAL in NY. He’s obviously a fan. NeNe was all over him. They should have done a sit down. So should Fallon.

    Next time.

    Because there will be a next time. And next time he’ll have either Tove Lo or Brain May with him.

    Rumors is not my fave on the Cd at all. I am cray for Lucy right now and ALN and EITN.

    I don’t even know what to say about GMA, he looked sooooo good, so delicious, so yummy, so handsome, so happy, and sounded equally good.

    Gah, I wished I could have gone to NY, but now I’m pining for Toronto.

    So happy for all of us that were in NY for all of this amazing week, and so happy for my Toronto ALL friends who will get to experience some Adam soon.

    I was texting with nkd while she was waiting for her CD to be signed at B&N, and she shared a pic with me. LOL. She also sent a rather bulgy pic, from today at GMA. Almost poked my eyes out. You know, because her phone takes 3D pics!!

    I agree with everyone that Adam has never looked or sounded better and he is so comfortable in his own skin that it is absolutely wonderful to see. I’ve been streaming the album on Spotify. Sometimes I need to put the volume down on GT (overload), but I adore the album to the point of not having a favorite – like Adam, I love them all!

    Looks like I missed a great time in NYC. By the time I started thinking that I could go, I was contemplating leaving on a bus in Philly at 2 in the morning and getting in at 4! The one ticket they had sold out yesterday morning and the alternatives didn’t seem to make sense. So I got up and watched on TV, enduring all kinds of eyerolling from the family. There is a shift in that no one complains about the music, which I take as a victory for Adam. Actually caught my daughter singing part of GT this morning. So I am very happy and hope he does a concert or two before September to capitalize on all this promo. If it is anywhere close, I’m there!!

    Hi everyone-just watched all the videos and I can only say-We all have GREAT taste. He is so fab-gets better all the time! And handsome-WOW!!! His voice is so beautiful, his presence on stage-so natural, and I just love him. Thought I had gotten better with my Adam addiction, but now I regret not going to(running!)to NYC! Hope everyone who went loved him and can’t wait to read the recaps. Baby Coco turned 1 this week-CocoNut Luau tomorrow, and we will listen to Adam singing!!

    I love that your favourite song seems to be changing every day or so, mils. It make me feel better about my changing affections.

    In the Idolator article, Adam talked about how much he loved Underground – it doesn’t seem to be a fan favourite but I love it. Adam also talks about how much fun EITN is live but imho the recorded version is pretty damn good, too.

    The only song that really doesn’t grab me is Rumours. It is too much like an awful lot of other POP songs.

    Ghost Town is so different from everything else out there. Adam stands out from the pack on the charts and that is a good thing.

    BTW, I read that GT had generated approximately 26,000 sales this week. That is pretty good considering that it had only combined sales of 68,000 in prior weeks. It’s sales are picking up just as it is hitting it’s stride on the charts. Big Smile

    Evil in the Night is still my favorite, and it seems to generate more “moves” from Adam, if you know what I mean.
