After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    The video I was talking about is on twitter account @Ississ but it won’t play when you click on it at the moment. It was filmed from the centre of the fan line and the screaming was hilarious.

    It’s 1.6% now so we are gaining. It was 0,9% before. Those OD fans did start wild on it.

    I think they are taking a break and laughing a lot, skaschep. The key is to keep voting. When they realize we can’t beat them, they will let us get to a respectable loss of 35% and we can call it a day.

    There’s no shame in coming second to the most popular band in the world but we certainly don’t want Ryan Seacrest to know that Adam suffered the worst final round defeat in the history of his radio polls. Laugh

    I second that TLKC! Just keep voting. The round lasts until July 2nd! That’s quite some time to go still.

    Hmm just checked again and Adam’s up to 12.1%! That went pretty fast.

    And while I was talking it went up to 38.6%.

    Are they correcting for bots or something?

    ETA: As I was voting it seems to me that there are no real time updates. I might be they update every now and then to control the traffic also. They must be getting a lot of people to their website with two such fanatic fan-bases.

    The GMA concert should be 2pm for me, but it’s Midsummer Eve here and I will be on the countryside and attending a fest at 3pm. Fingers crossed I manage to catch the stream if there’s one.

    I enjoy all the performances and many interviews (AOL was great), but at the same time reading about the sells and predictions is stressful. The album is so great that it so deserves to be a success!

    I checked that Hilary Duff in wiki, cause I’ve never heard of her. She has released three singles from her album, first two ones last summer…

    The only chart that Hilary Duff is on is HAC at #44, with about 250 spins, and I don’t see her on Top 40. It isn’t on any of the playlists in Houston that I have checked which is Khmx 96.5 or KKHH 95.7. I have heard it once. So,she isn’t getting played on radio really. Do radio spins help in how an album debuts? I can’t imagine it appealing too many people above the age of 16 or 17. I am thinking her fan base to be the tweens, as her music is very bubble gum pop and not very good really. I’m thinking a lot of moms figure this is very safe music for there little girs to listen to. I can’t imagine that her album would appeal to many males either. I am HOPING that after his GMA appearence and his appearence on Kelli and Micheal, his sales on I=Tunes will get a bump and hopefull album sales elsewhere too.
