After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

I adored watching Adam sit down for those long relaxed chats on AOL and Huffpost. Yeah, I could have done without some of those questions. He has learned that he doesn’t have to answer every question exactly and just relate to the parts that he wants to talk about. Is it my imagination or is Adam’s speaking voice pitched lower lately? Sort of goes with the use of his lower register more when singing, ever since QAL and of course on the new album. It could just be that he is relaxed in these long interviews while phone interviews or rushed ones at events are more tense so his voice goes up.

Streaming to get Adam’s TOH to #1 BB Charts is a dedicate Teamwork.

We love Adam and we want him to get recognized for his talents he truly deserves. It’s his time Now!
After this crucial time it will be his Grammys, multi other awards and hopefully his TOUR.

At first I thought my streams didn’t make a dent. Why shouldn’t I just go out and buy the tracks, cds and whatever to help him. And then I thought … that wouldn’t make a dent either. And not everyone can afford to buy multi stuff. His fan base will do anything for him including selling their own first born or their boyfriends. What about the non-fans or casual fans out there. How can we get them? We need to reach out.

Then this person (from Atop) said about being a part of STREAMING group eloquently which I really LOVE!!!!

Hope that people will stream their hearts out for Adam.

It’s not that I, personally, have to stream 1500 times and only get 1 album sale for all that work. It is that just 1500 fans, together, with just one click equal 1 album sale. That makes every repeat feel so powerful. Just 1499 more people have to do the same thing, and every few minutes, another album sold.

Feel the power together.

And thank Spotify for reporting all numbers.

When go into TOH album, keeps repeating the same song instead of proceeding to the next one.

“There I Said It” and “Rumors” won’t play on Deluxe version – says won’t play in U.S. They do play on the regular release.

ulti: you probably clicked the repeat button twice so that it repeats the song instead of the album. Try to click on it twice again (first one to disable, second one to put it on repeat all).

I don’t know about why those two tracks won’t play on the Deluxe version.

Streaming the full album is good for the album chart. Putting a few more Ghost Towns in between is better since that also will help for the single chart.

I’m adding my few cents by streaming GT on Rdio on my work laptop with a US VPN connection running. My home computer is streaming for the Netherlands.

Wow those sales predictions are about 1/2 of what Trespassing brought in. I know it is just a prediction but those numbers are not good.

I could be wrong but I think Adam might be able to beat Muse. They will probably get about half of last week’s 75,000. Also, their streaming sales = approximately 4,000.

Taylor Swift is the wild card. She’ll be in the 65-70,000 range on Sales + Streaming. Definitely #2 after James Taylor on that chart.

Thanks, TLKC… Am getting a little sad. I think we are all (Glamberts) trying so hard but yes, radio play is still so damn important. Even though sales predictions are half of what Trespassing got I feel that is just the way the music biz has changed in 3 years.

I just love TOH. Any song that has “summertime” in it should be blasted in the summer!!!! And am confessing here…I wish he wouldn’t advertise the album as 90’s throwback (although I guess it is). The fans he should have were not even born then. Am very happy when he uses words like “current” because I think the album is beyond current!!

And Ghost Town is such a great song. I have played it for people, sent Ellen show youtube to people & they say they love it! I don’t know. Times have changed. Just gotta keep streaming.

Was at Barnes & Noble after work today & they had 2 copies of TOH. Not sure how many they started with. I bought one & put the other one on the top shelf.

FINALLY!!!!! The Duke and I were driving home tonite listening to our new CD in the car which has a great sound system when for no other reason than to hear the “pop” sound of the moment on the radio and compare it to Adam’s pop-I changed to the Y100 IHeart station in Ft Myers, FL where we’ve been trying for 5 weeks to hear GT (and never have!). They were in the middle of GT (!!!!!)Really!!!! (we were so surprised I had to double check that I hadn’t just switched the song I was playing to GT (I wasn’t). Then when it finished the DJ said it was Adam Lambert Ghost Town and went on to give a number of accolades about his appearance last night at the IHeart studio in NYC. WOW!!! I’m in heaven!

Great news little dutchess! I went out after work to do a bit of recognizance. First stop was BestBuys. Their record section is tiny but they had a kiosk for new releases. I could not find TOH anywhere then I saw one left just sitting there buy itself. I really couldn’t determine where it had originally roosted. Took it up front and asked them to see if there were more. The clerk said that there were a few more but she didn’t know where exactly so I went ahead and bought it. Then headed over to Target. Again not a huge section of CDs but JT and Adam shared the top row with two sections each. All others were below with just one section. Both Adam and JT looked to have about the same # left. Scooped up my five and went my merry way.

Has anyone received their fan packages? I’m still waiting for mine.

iHeart was so wonderful last night. He was so happy. If he isn’t worried I’m not going to worry. This CD is so fantastic with so many amazing songs. I can’t imagine it won’t be successful.

I think the boy’s veneer is starting to crack. How many times do you have to answer the same questions? Even if he starts his answer with a bit of sarcasm he always brings it around to give the best interview possible. Anybody that says he isn’t a good actor is crazy
