After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    I woke up at 7:00 and TOH was already downloaded to my iPad. Woke up again at 8:00 and watched the performance on Jimmy Fallon (I still wish that they had chatted. Don’t these people know what they are missing?)
    I just made a CD for my car until I get the one I ordered. I will check at Jerusalem’s only record store to see if they have the album.
    Must run! Am meeting a friend for brunch and I am late.

    I’m not one to criticise other artists but the reviewer puts into words exactly how I hear Nate Ruess.

    Loved that performance on Fallon! What I noticed when he hugged Adam at the end he said “finally” to him. Bet they’ve been working on this for a long time (I’ve been tweeting Fallon for a long time)! Must be difficult to mesh everything together. The sit down guests may have had it in their contracts to be interviewed.

    Darn work. This is one week that I should have taken off and just parked my but in NYC. Adam’s performance on Fallon was very dark and dramatic. Didn’t miss the dancers and was thrilled to see hair allover his head.

    I hope that Jimmy has him back as a guest and they get some “play” time.

    TOH is doing so well. Love that he is getting such great critical recognition and folks are buying. There are so many great songs on the cd that I can’t imagine people just buying GT as a single now that they can get the whole enchilada.

    iHeart tonight at 7pm. Can’t wait!

    Just watched the Tonight show. Jimmy sure was excited to see Adam, more than for any of the other guests. I loved when he said “finally!”. He must have wanted to have him on for a long time.

    Listened to TOH in my car today. Sooooooooo Gooooooood!

    I went into the record store in the Mall hoping to find TOH on the shelves. No Go…I asked the nice young man working there if they are going to get it. He said that international albums usually take about a month to get here, and when he checked, it will arrive next week. He said: he was on some TV show, right? American Idol? The other thing he knew about him is that he is Jewish, lol (that is what is important to people here..) I said that he is the best singer out there right now and that he toured with Queen last year. Told him to look it up on YouTube. He seemed impressed. I told him that TOH is a great album and he seemed surprised that I had heard it already. Said I downloaded it from iTunes this morning. Didn’t tell him that I have been listening for ages already, lol. So he said that I must want a hard copy, too. Of course I didn’t tell him that I have already ordered one from AO, too. Didn’t want him to think that I am obsessed or anything like that ROTFL

    So many goodies to catch up during past 24 hours. Loved Ghost Town on Fallon, how can he get better performance after performance!? After changing continent and being probably jet lagged. Access Hollywood was also very good, especially the long one. Adam was such a cheerful cupcake with his analogies.

    I am so happy he’s getting good promo and reception in US. I think I haven’t heard any AMA reference during these promos. Fingers crossed for BB#1!
