After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    I’ve been whining that my 107.9 (iheart Elvis Duran) station here never spins GT. So 3 or 4 times today. And it was #8 on their countdown at 9 tonight. Shocked.

    It sounds so much better on the radio than when I listen to the video online.

    ulti, I just did one of those Australia signed pre-orders. Limit one per person, and it looks like half have been sold so if anyone is thinking about it, don’t think for too long.
    With tax and shipping, it came to about $22 American.

    I stayed in bed an extra 45 minutes to watch this interview. What can I say? I could watch Adam and listen to him talk for hours on end, but that had to be the worst interviewer that Adam has spoken to. And I can’t blame his English, all the Scandinavians speak English very well. He seemed totally passive and unprepared, Adam often didn’t even understand his questions, and after Adam said that he can’t predict the future, he kept asking the same type of questions. There didn’t seem to be much of a connect or chemistry between Adam and the guy.(How is that possible?) Adam basically carried the whole interview by himself. Makes you appreciate all the great interviewers who have had so much fun talking to him. Some nice things came out of the talk, but it was painful every time the guy opened his mouth.

    Phew. Finally figured out how to change my mailing address to the US on the jbhifi site. Wasn’t hard but I just missed it at the beginning. Love getting CDs from all over for Adam’s stuff.

    I am whispering the following statement so the Gods of Hair do not notice ….”don’t you just love how his hair looks? Having non-shaved sides does all kinds of good things for me”

    As far as the 45 minute interview, I agree it was awkward and sometimes painful for me to listen to but I get the feeling that for those in the audience who recognized the interviewer’s style it was more humorous and typical rather than totally weird.

    Hope some really good dancers are joining Adam for his GT appearances coming up. Typically I think Adam on his own is perfect but having dancers for GT will make it a true dance party.
