After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Gahhhh! That lipsynch contest was awful! My favourite is the one between Emily Blunt and Ann Hathaway on the actual Lipsynch Battle show. They both brought it big-time.

    Yes…then I think he would have to jump on a plane back to LA for Fallon on Monday. Show tapes at 5pm EDT so not much time to rehearse. Hope he does more than just sing.

    Watching VH1. GT slipped one to # 17. That’s not good. Was hoping it would at least get into the top 10. Probably will fall off after this week. Peeps say VH1 is not important but I would think a video music award nomination would be important!

    Fallon is in New York, luval, which gives Adam a slightly bigger travel time window. Only 7 hour flight and no layovers.

    luval– Is there any hope that Adam will stay away from the hair clippers between now and the GMA show next Friday? A girl can only dream. I’m bringing my good camera with me in hopes that we can capture that gorgeous mop in its full glory.

    The CD I ordered from AO (MyPlay Store) is now in NJ! It was shipped 2 days ago. I hope it arrives on Monday so I have plenty of time to listen to it on the good audio in my car before leaving for NYC on Thursday. The CD that comes with the bundle is delayed. I also preordered 2 from Amazon. Their website says that they won’t arrive until 6/22. That’s an appallingly long time after the release, but not a problem for me since the AO copy is already on the way.

    Re lateness…the ultimate fan bundle is shipping late and the Australian CD is shipping without the CD card, it will be shipped to purchasers later.
    The common thread…both have signed CD inserts.
    Why is this not a surprise…remember the Charity water signed photos?

    The Charity Water problem happened because Adam changed management. It was RCA’s job to complete that task and they weren’t motivated. This is different. It shouldn’t have happened.

    It is great to hear that some outlets are shipping the CD right away, though.

    Just saw this on adamtopia:

    Streaming has benefits besides the US Billboard charts….but for the US Billboard charts:

    > Ghost Town streaming is counted now.

    > TOH album and all album track steaming is counted starting Monday morning/Sunday night 12:00 PM Eastern time, 9:00 PM Pacific Time.

    What really matters is the Billboard 200 — the album chart.

    The interesting thing about this streaming is that the more something get streamed, the more it spreads.
