After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    Dubai Music Week is September 23 to 26. Can’t see how Adam could appear, would be crazy in between Queen gigs in far away SA. Maybe Levine?
    ETA: But not impossible. Like when he flew in from London and did that gig in San Francisco, then flew back the next day lol.

    Maybe he’s trying to be a trendsetter & break out of that shaved sides, mohawk-ish top thing. Hate it. Or his friend @greyjoey is an influence.

    glambotgram, that article is not worth translating Mad It is not based on any interview but some “information” at the airport which happens to be not true. Not a nice one, I am quite mad and am not the only one. It’s a gossip mag and they might be bitchy because there was really nothing to gossip about. On the fact side, apparently Adam and Sauli came together to stadium by car (in the pic), didn’t give comments and spent time together after the concert but out of media sight. Which can be annoying to a gossip mag, haha.

    All the interviews here for radio and video clips have been polite and nice, appreciative.

    Thanks for that last interview, luval. Some not so ordinary questions, that’s interesting for change.

    Not so happy about the Guardian review. Maybe dance pop or mainstream is not his cuppa… Not the same guy anyway who reviewed QAL concert.

    He’s doing so much I can’t even try to keep up!

    Methinks he didn’t look sad at all in these recent photos, he looks gorgeous and a little tired. Possibly listening to people and trying to answer questions for the umpteenth time in a nice way.

    Also, when hearing fans gush over you over and over and over, maybe it gets hard to listen to day in and day out.

    Did he already do the Boys thing in London? Any vids?

    He’s on the CW channel shortly for the I Heart Pool Party . Maybe they’ll show his interview with Elvis Duran and his intro for Echosmith.

    I loove that he’s on the cover of an Israeli magazine! He has said that he wants to go there. Dubai?? Interesting. Many entertainers go there and are paid HUGE amounts of money to do small and private gigs.

    The weather there? Whatevs. He may perform indoors. He’s from southern Cali, it’s hot and dry there too.!!

    Adam’s voice is stellar in the desert ( Fantasy Springs anyone?) and stellar in heat and humidity ( Japan ).

    In the fall of 2010 he appeared in the concert revue For The Record: Quentin Tarantino in Los Angeles, presented by ROCKLA for Show at Barre. It ran from August to October and also starred Jenna Leigh Green, Autumn Reeser, Ty Taylor, and Audra Mae. Then from November 2010 through January 2011 Von starred in Show At Barre’s For The Record: John Hughes. Also starring Barrett Foa, Tracie Thoms and Ty Taylor.

    The showbiz connections are so interesting. Von performed with Ty Taylor in two different productions for many months.

    And he was in Idol Season 8 through Hollywood Rounds and made it to top 36 and a wild card before being eliminated.

    All of the singers were terrific last night, but Von, lordy, I could listen to him sing all night.

    Thanks. Like I said, I can’t keep up.

    LOL. I literally had to sneak my phone into a bathroom and I just stood next to the sink and scrolled through our blog for a few minutes.

    I felt like I was being bad, we’re not allowed to have our phones “on” at work. I just couldn’t take the suspense anymore of knowing how much was going on.

    riskyhubby asked me to remind everyone if you’re setting DVR to record Fallon, NBC has hockey playoffs Monday night, and sometimes they run into overtime or even double overtime, so he recommends setting extra time at the end of the recording just in case. He set ours to stop recording an hour after the normal end time. (I’ll be watching, but might fall asleep lol.)

    I am soooooo disgusted right now. There are almost 20 YT uploads of the full TOH album, some slowed down which are just crappy. Some are even on Vevo, which we know Warner doesn’t do. Grrrrrrrr. And people are so stupid, they view them, costing Adam and his label money.
    Some girl Kacey Musgrave has uploaded all the songs to her channel, and they all use the pic and pretend they’re official.

    Wow, I see what you mean about the you tube videos. I went to the Vevo channel and listened to a few seconds of a song. I did make sure it was just a few seconds ,but it was horrible. It was very slowed down. Why would Vevo do that? Are they miffed that they don’t have authority to post Adam’s new music. Surely Warner could get those videos blocked?

    Report the videos to Shoshanna, especially VEVO. My guess is that it won’t hurt Adam’s sales, though it may hurt his streaming figures a bit.

    Guys, I read yesterday that GT has only sold 64,000. That means most of the momentum is coming from streaming. PLEASE stream GT as much as you can for the next few days so that we can keep it moving up the charts. After next week presumably it will have enough exposure to take care of itself.

    WB is doing a great job but if GT plateaus too early they will not spend as much on the next single – that’s just the way it goes.

    If GT goes Top 10 the next single will get a lot of love from WB and radio.

    That Hyde Park rumour sounds possible. It would be a great rehearsal and the timing is not bad given the time zone difference. They could leave after the concert and arrive SA the next day.
