After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    asif, I do like the Big Boy hair because it’s bigger & higher!!

    I can see every song on this album transferred to a performance on stage with lighting, background, all the bells & whistles. I’ll bet he has a million ideas. Hope there’s a tour.

    Love this iheart Adam dj-ing. He never flaunts his songs…just plays them.

    I’m sooo late to the party and don’t have time to listen to the stream or the radio or anything. I just went to You Tube and gave Lucy a quick listen, and holy crap! It’s like Queen meets Heart! Love it.

    Okay, I lied I also listened to There I Said it, and wonder if it is Adam or Sauli’s perspective.

    Rumours I like, I bet it gets radio play based on Tove Lo.

    Also, TOH, is so Donna Summer/ George Michael, it HAS to get radio play.

    But, that’s it. I really don’t have time for more. I know he did interviews, and soooo much. I just don’t have time.

    I need to learn how to use my new technology on my treadmill.

    I’m gonna try listening to the streaming with my phone and my earbuds…

    That’s what I saw earlier and only a couple of 100 retweets, which is poor for Adam. That that may be why they are asking us if we saw it.

    maybe this is too early to ask, but does anybody know where adam is flying into when he comes into the city next week? since he has a gig in london the night before he is probably flying international which could only mean JFK or Newark airport and i’m trying to find out if any tri-state area glamberts are going to meet up to meet him. thank you.     I re-tweeted that Iheart tweet, TLKC. I would think it ‘s a repeat of today. But what do I know?

    So I just streamed the album again. I like probably 8 or 9 out of the 11 songs. On second listen they all really sound better. But I need to hear the CD out of my excellent Bose speakers.

    No one, myself included, can love every single song. I skip a couple on the other two albums all the time. I love his voice, though, even if a song isn’t my favorite.

    Well, I love every song so far, but then I like almost all music except Guy Lombardo lol!
    Adam still on, what a great DJ!! Loved hearing him talk about Nile, Ivy, Avicii, and he’s played almost every song from TOH (just did The Light)! Love that iHeart has given him this time!!

    So, I just listened to the stream of the whole album.

    I honestly like almost every song on first listen.

    This is a HUGE departure from albums 1 and 2.

    IMHO. This is the best album George Michael never made.

    It’s sad, it’s dancy, it’s heavy, it’s heartfelt, it’s full of emotion, it’s very current, and it’s very retro back to disco and George Michael with some Heart, Queen, and Timberlake thrown in. The vocals are stellar. By holding back at times, he lets emotion shine through.

    I can not wait to hear this live.

    The Tove Lo will go to radio, I predict.

    I got my Rolling Stone today, and although the 3 stars sucks, the review was actually pretty good.

    What really sucked, was the huge article on Nate Reuss, and calling out the Queen wannabe crap. OMG. Made me boil. He sucked so hard with them at IHeart, and his new music and his performances are so manic. He actually looks sick on stage. His voice is just all over the place, no vocal skill out there right now. No control. I really liked Fun. with their big hits, and just sang along to Some Nights today in my car –LOUD.

    This Nate Ruess crapfest in RS is directly opposite Adam’s review in print. And it’s just Queen, Queen, Queen. Well, Nate may be a wannabe, Adam is the King Bee. With a crown to prove it!!!

    Just listened to the stream. I honestly loved all of the songs!! My new favorites are TOH and Lucy!! I loved all the rest though. I won’t be skipping over any when I’m playing them in my car!!! ANY of these songs beat anything out there on the radio today!! It burns my ass that SS automatically gets played and he has to be one of the most boring singers out there. All his music sounds the same and Adam has to fight tooth and nail to get his songs played. I hate to say this, but here goes,it is almost like they have chosen SS as their token Gay! I hope his cd does well and I hope GT will continue to rise on the charts!!! I really do like this cd better then the first two, although I do love them and still play them. Are people able to download this album for free? I hope not, because if so, it is really going to hurt the album sales.

    Well, this was an unexpected treat after a long day at work. I just listened to the TOH stream twice and love the entire album. It’s just brilliant, and as expected, Adam’s vocals are out of this world. I’ll have to listen many more times before I can pick out my favorites, but I think I’m up for the task. Big Smile

    I can’t wait to see what songs he sings from the new album at the GMA concert next week. I’d be happy with any of them, but the fierce and sexy Evil in the Night is at the top of my list. Adamized and I won’t be arriving in Manhattan until noon next Thursday. We’re going to head over to the B&N CD signing when we arrive but realize that we may not be able to get in. I still haven’t recovered from getting doubly christened by Adam’s champagne spray at the Philadelphia QAL concert last summer, so if I miss the CD signing I won’t be devastated. But the GMA concert…that’s going to be a real experience. I’m so happy that adamized, luval, nkd & I will all be there and will be able to give all of you the full report.

    You guys are going to have a ball out there!! Man, how I wish I could join you all, and tie in a visit to my boys while out there, but, another time it will have to be.

    I really like this album, it’s just so different. There really doesn’t seem to be a happy song. I like Pick You Up, I liked so much of Tresspassing, I never liked Naked Love, but it was so upbeat.

    This album is quite dark, however, I just know that live it will be unbelievable. I love Evil in the Night too adamized. I really hope it’s the next release, but, it will likely be the Tove Lo or TOH.

    Oh, Nate Reuss, don’t get me started on him. Luval and I were at the iHeart concert and had the dubious honor of hearing him desecrate “Somebody to Love” live. If you think it sounded bad on the video, it was even worse live. He sounded “like a bleating goat”, as luval so aptly put it. What made it even worse was that that performance followed Adam’s magnificent WWTLF. The only good thing about Nate’s performance was that it showed what a cool, extraordinarily talented professional Adam is. Adam was the beloved new member of Queen and Nate was just the mediocre wannabe.

    Mils– I wish you could join us in NYC, too. We’re going to see the Carole King musical “Beautiful” on Friday night. I’ve always liked her music and am really looking forward to seeing that too.

    TOH is very catchy and would make a good next single. The Tove Lo song is my least favorite song on the album. I’m not sure how that would do as a single.
