After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    wow..really like the original high…..I didn’t think I was going to like it that much after hearing that snippet from the club he sang it at….but the whole song is great.

    So far …TOH is my most fave song of the 5 I’ve heard from this album.

    I like the way he sings those first couple of lines – just perfect. And the falsetto really feels like a rush. Also like the “ping” at the end.

    Woke up to TOH Clap At first listen not my biggest fave of the new ones (dancy songs are not my faves usually or falsetto), but like before, the more I listen the more I find out and like! Many brilliant layers and that HIGH in the end is mind blowing!!

    I am still a bit high from concert. Came home quite late last night, but wanted to watch some TV Live Aid performances on my recorder. It was interesting to compare… Sound was certainly mixed differently, I could hear better clips of talk but music live was more massive. Have to watch Adam again on good speakers in the evening. I loved to see the front field audience reactions on tv, couldn’t see or hear them from distance.

    Thank you mmm222,you’re welcome! And welcome to Finland too. I bet his next own concert here will be wild, a lot of enthusiastic young fans here. And I saw a tweet that now GT is again #1 on iTunes here and Adam Lambert most searched on iTunes too. Live Aid performance certainly made a boost.

    Perhaps TOH will be single #2. Releasing a single with the same title as the album is a good way to market the CD through the Fall season.

    I just listened for the first time with earphones and I was blown away! It is my new Original High! I will listen over and over again till I know it by heart, and I will watch every live performance, but it will never be like the first time I heard it. It is new and exciting, but somehow warm, familiar and comforting. It is the VOICE!

    Can’t choose a favorite, each one is so special. Listening again as I write this.

    After two listens, my favourites among the “new” songs are are TOH, There I Said It, Things I Didn’t Say and The Light.

    I love all four of the pre-releases, so that’s 8 out of 11. Heavy Fire is burrowing in my ear a bit but it will take a few more listens. Rumours and Lucy will probably grow on me, too.
