Getting so excited for the start of the tour.
I actually liked Adam’s suit for the Glamour Awards and would love to have seen it “in person” because there were so many comments about the unusual colour, which the photography probably didn’t capture. (Granted, in person Adam would probably have upstaged every aspect of that suit.)
As for the fit, I’m with rs. The fact that most of the men attending the award show had a similar problem with fit simply means that wearing a suit, a la Don Draper, is becoming a lost art (as is the art of tailoring.) When we were kids, our Dads got free tailoring with every suit they purchased (while women paid for hemming, remember?) It was taken for granted that everything should fit, just so, and tailors were a dime-a-dozen.
Best guess: Adam got this off-the-designer-rack a couple of days before and the complimentary tailoring had pre-determined limits. If he could afford it, Adam would probably have all of his suits tailored just so. He certainly is one of the few male celebrities to happily rock a suit on occasions where it is optional, so he cares enough to do it right, as does our very own Ron.
The best guide to wearing a suit well is Tom Ford. Impeccable and probably a bit totalitarian about it, too.
Men in suits is half the reason I watch Mad Men….and I was very lucky to work in an environment where suits were required for most of my working life. I love a guy in capitalist uniform….

Well, you’ll be looking for a long time then! The NYT publishes a daily crossword so mine will most likely appear earlier in the week. The Sunday puzzle is a whole other animal to tackle and I’m not there yet! As to how it all works, who knows for sure. I follow a NYT crossword blog that features the daily puzzle plus comments (when available) from the constuctor. Often I read that they submitted the puzzle a year or two and sometimes three years ago. The editor determines when to publish it and I would assume has quite a collection to choose from – mine is just another on that pile. But I’m happy that it’s there! Off to work on some other ones and maybe fit Adam in there somewhere.

I think Queen and Adam need to get some radio interviews/talk shows in in the US…it seems a long time ago since the concerts were announced, and they haven’t done any press since then.
Wasn’t it AT&T that supposedly supplied all the phones for the voting parties in Kris’ home state that many believe caused him to lose the title????

calgary Out west there really are not any good tickets for a decent price. I have really been watching. The prices just haven’t come down. I discounted my ticket, nothing, it is below price of similar seats. I am not very experience with ticket buying or selling to me it is at a stand still. Is there anyone out there who knows about these things.
Yes firstimerob it is strange. I’m asking $130/per for tix I paid $143 plus tax for and they are very good seats. Crappy seats being offered for $175 and more!!! No sales. So that’s why I’m worried about the place being a lot emptier than announced ticket sales would lead you to expect.

He sounds so young and naive, like he was trying to be cool. ANYWAY, I am curious if this was ever a big deal? For me, unless I quit eating meat and wearing leather, etc I can’t judge people who wear fur. My opinion of course. –

God, that was back in February 2010, he made out with Kesha after the Kradison concert and some drinks.
I think people misunderstand Brian’s efforts against badger culls and fox hunting and cruelty to animals. Don’t know that he is a member of PETA, or that extreme. And we also don’t know if he and Adam have ever talked about these things in the MANY hours they’ve been together, or if they need the fandom to be their conscience. Pretty arrogant and entitled.

This weekend is Pridefest here. Huge stars, big parade, and Cher is in town at an arena with Cyndi Lauper. There are shuttle buses from the festival to the show. LOL. Just so awesome. And our local paper is covering it well. It has been almost ignored in the past. I’m gonna try and get there. Looks like decent weather is expected too.
Ok..LOL..not looking for a lecture just curious if it turned into anything at the time. I looked it up and know it was years ago – actually, one of my friends brought it to me and asked me about it and I had never heard him talk about Keisha or fur. So, I figured you guys could just fill in the blanks. Never said it was fans that sent the link, it was some sort of animal rights/Vegan group that was sending it NOT fans. Brian is pretty tied into PETA from what I have read, not sure if he is a proper member or not though. He was their UK Person of the year a couple of years ago. Which has nothing to do with anything I was asking about, but there you go.

I missed out on a lot and was just curious. I never claimed to know what he and Brian talked about it was just a simple question.
Well, the big brouhaha was about him and Kesha mostly if I remember correctly. They were both interviewed about it several times, and I think she said he kissed like a romance novel hero or something, and one of them tasted like blueberries. That led to theories that they had sex at some point, the week Adam was in Paris after GNT ended, the same week Sauli met up with him. He had tweeted Kesha they should catch up for old times sake or something.
And I wasn’t lecturing anyone – when you said “people” I figured it might be fans as it typically is. The lecture would be for them….

Thanks, so the Kesha thing was more sensational than the fur thing. LOL. My friend is British and is really starting to like Adam so she saw the pictures of him at the WWRY finale and then saw some tweets and was questioning me about it. She is also a pretty big Queen fan being British and all…I figured you all would know the details.
And I gotta say, Kesha? Really? He can do better. I don’t find her attractive at all.
