Just listening to it again. That Yeah, Yeah at the end is so reminiscent of another interview from years ago… Okay, Adam actually said that the concerts start on June 18th in Chicago. Does anybody know, with a tour of this magnitude beginning, whether Q+A would do essentially a dress rehearsal concert the night before to make sure everything is perfect? Maybe I’m totally off base and Adam just got the date wrong, but …
“Little bit here and there”…. I’m thinking a VERY eclectic mix of genres because he doesn’t believe in genres per se. Love it!!!! No boxes for Adam!

I think he just got the date wrong. I know I do all the time. I have to keep looking at my tickets, looking at my hotel reservations. He’s not good with numbers. He just shows up!!

Hi all. Dinner at Al‘s over and your predictions/wishes came true – it was wonderful. Great food and great company, including the animals that dared show themselves
I strayed from my original plan today because Al warned me about a very difficult climb on the road I was to take. And frankly, I’ve had enough of those climbs. They made my cycling tour into a hiking tour while pushing a bicyle! Could’ve saved me a lot money by just buying good hiking boots and not bother about the bike.
Cycling in British Columbia was waaaaay harder than I imagined and I’m a lot less optimistic about crisscrossing Canada and the States. Although, that hasn’t stopped me before. Many people to meet west of the Mississippi!
Heading home again soon to get in shape for the concerts!
Can’t wait to see Twilightmagic, Al, glammagram and Calgary in Vancouver (hope I didn’t forget anyone). Plus I’ll get a little preview on the 24th in Edmonton! (I will travel by car that time.)

Somebody said the fabric of that suit was beautiful, and in that big pic it looks like one of those silks that changes in different lights, this one from grayish to cinnamon, which explains the pale gray print shirt. I think he looks lovely, probably better in person than in pics.

Anyway, wish he would let the side wings grow back a little more (of the eyebrows) – I like the full arch, so impressive.

Have to admit I didn’t know much about threading eyebrows, mils, but googled it. I don’t think he has this done. Either plucking or waxing. Here’s a threading vid if anyone is interested.

Threading is really becoming popular in many cities, I know lots of ladies who have their brows threaded. Not me. It’s too expensive.

We live on a hillside and our driveway is a steep slope as well. Mieps almost made it all the way here but abandoned her bike and tow and almost dejectedly asked for my help to make the last few hundred steep feet! I did warn her about it being hilly!

It was an enjoyable afternoon/evening and we talked, ate, drank until the wee hours. My partner was glad to finally have somebody else as a sounding board so he indulged mieps with his conspiracy theories and opinions. It was a great night of flowing conversation and the talk did not even involve Adam! Yet…
This morning though, we did manage to get some “we” time as my partner recovered from his vocal fatigue. She mentioned her car trip and meeting all the ALLers and how wonderful and special everyone was. So we should give ourselves a mutial pat on the back for being such a warm, friendly and caring group who just happen to share a similar affection. I’m so fortunate to be added to the list of ALLers that mieps has met! Now comes the final push to convince my partner that I need a break from my daily routine and a Q+AL concert is the perfect and only solution!
