   Ulti No it wasn’t that one, it took place in Japan and I remember a shoji walled room and he was wearing a kimono……I mostly remember the wowee stuff on display and not much of the plot other than it was a love story He didn’t seem shy, but then, why would he?

   I have “Velvet Goldmine” in my “Adam memorabilia” box, there wasn’t any real nudity in that, that I can recall?

    There’s no real nudity in Velvet Goldmine that I can recall. A lot of suggestion, one pants dropping on stage, maybe Ewan, but just a tush.

    I do like Ewan very much, he’s a very good actor and has a lot of assets.

    Have we seen any indications that Adam met Cher last night?

    Funny coincidence, Cher was on the Graham Norton Show on BBC Canada last night and she talked about how lonely the road is, how you have to save your voice and that the only time it’s great is when you are onstage.

    Then Graham Norton asked Robert DeNiro, who was also on the show, about his Queen connection. It turns out that his Tribeca Production Company produced WWRY and they had wanted to make a movie out of it.

    Graham Norton’s question included the words “produced WWRY ca-ching, ca-ching!” and Robert DeNiro gave one of his trademark sideways glances followed be a slight affirmative nod before he answered. The whole audience broke up laughing.

    My guess is that the US audience for the musical wasn’t big enough to warrant a film but, hey, perhaps it will be now.

    It will be interesting to see if De Niro is in the NYC audience. If he is, be prepared to see an utterly nutty female climbing over dozens of rows of seats for an autograph.

    Was in my car this morning and heard Sam Smith’s song Stay With Me. NO WAY is this song better than Underneath!! Just sickening how Underneath or any other Trespassing song wasn’t released as a single. Sorry to re-hash this stuff but I am angry!!! Sam Smith made me angry.

    Luval, I like Sam Smith..but I do find it strange the way he is being embraced, and praised by everyone, in the UK and in the US. Maybe its because he’s not glam or in your face, but a quiet, guy down the street type, or maybe Boy George is right, and its OK to be gay if you’re English.
