   I’m sooo excited for all of you who are going … with all the plans, the get together and then the debrief and squee and flail after the show.
   It’s going to be great. I feel like I’ve been with you guys.
   And recaps after that … YAY… \O/ …

    Hi asif, Yeah, I love reading your posts and am happy when I see your flowers, but it is hard to look at that shaved head on our BB, so it is a conflict! lol.

    I am getting ready. Have to decide about a suitcase and what to bring. Tonight I am making a CD to bring cher with her favorite tracks. She wore out the last one I made for her a couple of years ago.

    Wish you were coming to San Diego. We are going to have a blast, and I really want to meet you. I feel a kinship from the days that we were in the same time zone and the only ones awake sometimes, along with HK Fan.

    I have about 14 avis to play with. I’ll change my avi daily just for fun and then I’ll go back to the fuzzy flowers.

    About packing … good thing it’s summer that you can travel light.
    International flights .. we get more weight allowance … but double check with domestic connecting flights about the weight. We always had to argue with the airlines because they were going to charge us an arm and a leg for the weight.

    Have a safe trip and say HI to everybody.

    Not any more. Used to be 2 suitcases trans-Atlantic and now it is one. Of course in the States you have to pay for all checked luggage, but since all my flights are on the same ticket as my international flights, I don’t have to pay. I flew Delta once and they didn’t believe me and made me pay $25 for my checked luggage every flight, but I saved the receipts and got reimbursed when I got home. Never had any problems with Continental or Star Alliance affiliates. The weight is always the same, 23 kilo or 50 pounds.

    I miss you and the time we were here at ALL the same time.
    In fact, I miss living in the middle east. I’ve been dreaming almost every night that I go back there .. go back to work and they take me back. It’s hard to leave the place that I had lived there off and on for more than 20 years. My daughter was born there. We travelled more when we were there.

    Right now … after retiring, no income … no travelling plan this summer. There are many projects to do with our house. My sis-in-law (a new widower) needs company.

    In the future, I hope to meet you and all of the beautiful people at ALL here.

    It could happen if there is Queen + Adam Lambert Tour in the US, YES !!!! Please … universe.

    Thanks for that luval. I love SYTYCD and every week I wish that they would dance to one of Adam’s songs. Underneath would be perfect. They love the angsty, emotional stuff that they can get their teeth into.

    Late on this subject……………..Yesterday my 18 yr grand daughter gave me a ride in her car. She had Jack FM station on and Led Zeppelin was playing.(same station I listen to). Do your friends listen to rock also? No, just the trendy ones. This grand-daughter introduced me to Idol season 7 and deserted me season 8. When Trespassing came out I had her listen to each song which she told me what genre each recording was from but was not impressed. Now she and her trendy friends like rock so who knows what these kids like and don’t like, they change constantly. If Adam comes out with rock CD soon, I know some trendy kids in So Ca might like it.
