What a very rewarding month of May we had as fans of Adam: an honor from GLAAD, a return to Idol, a broadcast of Chinese Idol and the 80’s Show in Japan, the Life Ball and finally, the Hope of LA award. June seems to be a relatively quiet month with only 2 concerts; one in Pittsburgh and one in Orlando. There were lots of great photos of Adam to choose from so I hope you enjoy the GLAAD photo chosen for the main one as well as the few that make up the mosaic above.

    I think its so funny that we are talking about Adams facial hair for 2 to 3 pages. Now if he shaves, do we talk about his smooth no hair face? ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL
    Oh Adam you kept the facial hair just for us, so we have something to talk about for a few days, you are sooooo sweet!
    Just for the record, I like a little fuzz on the face, no to the full monty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well, mmm222 – think I can handle the Moderator bit – as the mother of six mostly teenage girls (in the past), I’ve earned my stripes.

    Funny – now, with their own, they tell me they don’t know how I tolerated it. Instead of devil mother, I’ve suddenly become beatified – lol.

    Ulti– When I was growing up as the oldest of nine children, I thought my parents were complete lunatics. Once I had my own two children, I couldn’t believe how sane they actually were. It’s all a matter of perspective.

    Yup…when my son was 16, I was as dumb as a post. Now that he is twenty, he is amazed by how much I have learned in four short years…

    That pic would make a great t-shirt, Krad – I’ve bought 4-5 other shirts but never wear them ’cause I’m not nuts about the design.

    …and who they can count on, ulti. That was probably the lesson that surprised my son the most. When they are younger, they think that friends will always be there, and that they can jettison family.
    Then when things aren’t going well, and they look around and see that parents are still standing by to lend a hand…it means so much.

    On that Blu iTunes page, a guy named Mike Andrews (also has music on iTunes) wrote – back on November 27, 2012 – “Blu delivers vocally on this album. Watch out Adam Lambert.”

    (Actually, my son had one. Bet he would give it to me. Hmmm…need to ask him. He has worn his.)

    btw, if anyone didn’t get the original Rolling Stone mag with Adam’s “outing”, or Flaunt, they are on ebay for very reasonable prices. There was a RS for only about $4 buy-it-now.

    I think I have found the maker of the black patent shoes. It has taken me on a journey watching the Rove LA episode, so funny!

    Jeffrey West is the only shoe I could find with that particular toe. Here is a similar shoe in blue.

    I noted one of the comments…that Adam is sporting a Drake Labry ‘stache.
    Yup, that is exactly what I posted ages ago when the facial hair first erupted.
    I think the resemblance is striking.
    And not in a good way, IMHO.
    But…imma let that go for a while. I’ll be traveling for a few days and won’t have the time to obsess over the facial hair of a man who is thousands of miles away and to whom I have no personal connection…!

    Minority opinion here, apparently, but count me among those who don’t mind the facial hair at all. He’s still hot either way in my book. No harm in experimenting and mixing it up a little.

    For those of you having trouble with the stache, just remember that he still has those spectacular eyes above that dazzling, genuine smile, under that amazing hair, all on top of that tall, lean, broad-shouldered, and well-dressed bod, all wrapped around that fabulous personality and awesome talent!

    Was discussing this with a friend the other day. It might be interesting if Adam would move to NYC for a while & develop an East coast profile. All the NYC premium magazines would start featuring him in their columns. He’d be invited to the big charity & social events by the “ladies who lunch”. Broadway crowd is at many of those events but they don’t have the profile Adam does so he’d get lots of notice by the national media.

    NY is a cut above LA in it’s partying. He would make it to Vanity Fair & New York magazine. All of it would help him become a bi-coastal force. Might generate enough in-the-city-buzz to be a good fallback person when someone cancels a morning show appearance, etc. Most of these shows broadcast from NYC.

    Yes, he a so. Cal boy but it seems like something he might be able to do.

    And maybe he’ll run into Bowie. Wink Smile

    Big soccer camp week coming up – in charge of the eight- and ten-year-olds – gonna be ninety-plus in the shade apparently – fun times.

    Will check in occasionally – hope the pornstache doesn’t survive the trip back to LA. Would love to see that handsome face in all its unadorned beauty again.
