Just to be clear, everybody here doesn’t hate the way Adam looks right now. I am just so damn excited to be coming half way around the world to see him for the first time since London a year ago with seats closer than I have ever been (except for my M&G) that I can’t worry about a little hair on his face.
I don’t think anyone said EVERYBODY hates the stache. Did I miss something? Just personal opinions.
I don’t hate the way he looks right now, I think he’s drop dead gorgeous.

Haven’t you noticed that almost every male movie star, TV star, model, et al have the facial hair now? It’s a trend, my friends, and as long as it’s a trend, fashion-conscious Adam will be in it. Not CRAZY about it myself, either, on ANY guy – have HATED Brad Pitt’s from day one. But this look is much less offensive to me than the previous Melvin, and ANY ONE of the variations of shaving on the head. I think he looks pretty handsome, so no problem. He still stole the red carpet from Pitt, who looked downright seedy and his blacks didn’t match. (Unusual, he usually is well turned out – too much traveling perhaps, plus he’s in charge of the kids right now. He’s still a lovely person to me.)
I think Adam looks great with and without facial hair. He grew facial hair this time just before his Alladin role in Life Ball. He’ll shave it off when he gets tired of it. As I said in a post earlier this week, I’d much rather see him experimenting with his facial hair than taking a razor randomly to his head hair like he did during the Glamnation tour.
What I don’t like is that it makes him look closer to 40 than 30. Can certainly live with it – he’s a helluva lot handsomer than 99% of other men even with it – loved it at Z – but my preference now is be gone – just an opinion, that’s all. Fun to discuss.
This look is certainly the trend, risky lady. You see it everywhere! Saw a pic of Robin Thicke…just one of the many with the facial hair. Wonder who’ll break the trend?

In terms of musicals, I think the prime movie musical role for Adam would be Judas in JSC.
He has even spoken about it several times, in terms of, he would love to play him if a movie were ever made again.
I actually like the no make-up and no nail polish and older more mature look lately. I do not mind the mustache at all. At all. I like hair. Long beautiful hair. Shiny gleaming streaming waxen flaxen…….
Just stay away from shavers near the scalp.
I agree with mils about Judas as mentioned before. Another thought is that the Freddie Mercury biopic is supposed to start filming soon with Sascha Baron Cohen starring. Do they have understudies for movies? Also, July 2013 is 40th anniversary of Queen’s first album debut…

I’d love to see Adam in the role he’s always wanted…Judas. It seems as though recent revivals have been a flop. Either the staging is ultra modern or no staging or props at all. I think they have to go back to the basics with the actors in biblical times robes, long hair, etc. There is an annual JC Superstar local production here in Syracuse every Easter time and it’s a huge hit. Dozens and dozens of crowd & children on stage, robes, Jesus looks like a hippie…the whole shebang.
BTW Adam with the derby (Bowie medley) was in Syracuse. (thanks, ulti). Was 4 rows from the front. I remember the fight 2 woman had on who owned the derby & who caught it. Adam did not come out to the fence to sign because he didn’t feel good but Kris Allen was there. That’s where I first met “Adam Jr”. who would be mine a few weeks later!

OMG Kradamour lol nothing is as bad as the shaved head at the EMA’s. IMO I hate those pictures and what makes it worse is it was such an awesome event that makes you(me) want to go back and revisit those pictures but I just can’t, makes me cringe everytime. Melvin is not near as bad. I’ll go on record as one who thinks he looks really good, but am ready for him to shave.

I have been at the pool all day with MANY (too many) mimosas so take this with that in mind. I don’t give a #*€£ what his hair or facial hair looks like. It is what makes Adam Adam and keeps him talked about and how he feels at the moment. I don’t think it has anything at all to do with anything except what he feels like and what he wants to project. Probably even rebellion at the anti facial hair comments.

Morning all….
I too am one of those that don’t like the facial hair…I don’t like beards and taches on anyone, always think they add 10 years…..will say that Adams’ suits him more than most mens do.
But will be extremely glad when its gone.
The only time I like facial hair on him is when its just 2 or 3 days growth and lighter, like in those 2 pics on the top row of him with the kids above, where he’s wearing the green jacket.
But it does seem to be the norm at the moment, everyone seems to have a beard. Adam should shave…I mean who wants to look like everyone else
