What a very rewarding month of May we had as fans of Adam: an honor from GLAAD, a return to Idol, a broadcast of Chinese Idol and the 80’s Show in Japan, the Life Ball and finally, the Hope of LA award. June seems to be a relatively quiet month with only 2 concerts; one in Pittsburgh and one in Orlando. There were lots of great photos of Adam to choose from so I hope you enjoy the GLAAD photo chosen for the main one as well as the few that make up the mosaic above.

    Hi mmm222! Always love reading your posts – so thoughtful. Your comment about the razor is dead on. In response to Soccermom – perhaps the role he is “auditioning” for is American Idol Judge – more mature-looking, approachable might be what they are looking for. I think the key to his current gorgeousness lies in his use of a deep, dark brown color for his base hair color. Black is so harsh and unforgiving against the skin and I think it kind of forced him to wear makeup all the time to counteract that. However, I’m no hairdresser or stylist, so I may be completely wrong!

    Sorry, but no way is Darren Criss as hot as Adam. We saw the pics of him close up with Adam after that party in LA, and to me he’s grimy looking. And the other one Golfer looks like a total geek. Every year the Glee fans power vote on that poll. Ridiculous. I even think Adam is waaay better looking and sexier than Matt Bomer. Whatever.

    I agree with you riskylady…I have never found Chris Colfer attractive, although he does seem to be growing into his looks a bit, and I’ve never seen the appeal of Darren Criss, in fact in Glee I think he looks very nerdy. Don’t know Matt Bomer, but in that picture I think he is attractive, but not hot. Didn’t look at the ones before 5th….
    But 4th is good, up 6 places from last yearSmile

    If they had used one of the pictures from the WWZ red carpet, I think he would have been even higher. Maybe #1 next year!

    I also think Adam would have the good sense and professionalism to not get drunk at such a high-profile event, where obviously there were opportunities for networking (which is probably why he was there). I think it was probably Lindelof – after all it was his party too as he cowrote the screenplay. Don’t think he would tweet that about someone else. And pretty sure Adam made sure to know who he was speaking with at the event. Nothing wrong with not liking the ending – especially if it follows the book written by Brooks.
    Maybe he relaxed afterwards with the small group of friends, when they went to Lil Charlie’s.

    I read on twitter that Tommy Joe was also on the list at #69 and Kris Allen at #51. Adam got a mention with both of these. Kris because they were backing Adam and Tommy not for being a member of the band but for the kiss that freaked out a TV network. Patience, Adam is moving up the list, but I also wonder how the Glee boys got ahead of him. Great picture however.

    Why do you think Lindelof tweeted that about Adam, riskylady? Get hits? Trying to make himself important? And he wouldn’t do it to anyone else? Seems uncalled for – especially since it was in all caps. And what does “awesome because Adam Lambert” mean? Seems weird to me.

    Ulti, I don’t think there was any malice on the part of Damon in that tweet. And, he’s already important: Co-creator of Lost, co-writer of Prometheus, the latest Star Trek movie, and now WWZ, and lots of other credits. It just seemed like he had a few, sort of a drunkish tweet, that he thought it was noteworthy that Adam would tell him, one of the cowriters of the film, that he didn’t like the ending LOL, but that it was OK because it came from the awesome Adam Lambert.
    I just meant that I don’t think Adam would ever be drunk at such an event, like he wasn’t drunk at any Grammy party, any of Elton’s parties, Clive Davis’ party, any other high profile event.
    ETA Interesting commonality with Adam: His mother is Jewish and his father is of Scandinavian origens.

    Thanks, riskylady, if Damon hadn’t put that hashtag #drunk, I wouldn’t have thought anything of it. Was concerned that Damon was suggesting that Adam was sloshed and babbling.

    If a movie is based on a book, which I think this one is, there is nothing that you can do about the ending. I HATE the ending of Romeo and Juliet every time and am not shy about saying it!

    I am sorry if anyone took my posts to serious about the tweets, I thought it was all hilarious. I think it was a joke between them. Of course Adam is a very smart man but he also likes to drink and have fun. He deleted the Boom Boom Room tweet and then tweeted the compliment of the movie. Just funny. Nothing deep but smart.

    Anyway, I went out with my friend and his partner tonight and they were going on and on about how hot and sexy Adam is looking and discussing the why he changed and so on about the clean look etc.. Very fun and loved looking up pictures to share. It is interesting that we were saying how great we thought he looked before but dang it if he doesn’t look better with time. They love the facial hair…..

    Thanks, nkd! I love to see him enjoying NY and visiting old friends who are successful in theater in NY. Waiting to see if he goes to see Cyndi’s play, Kinky Boots, cause there’s a guy in that who just won a Tony and who was artistic director at the Upright Cabaret; think Adam knows him too. He said he wanted to see a few plays.

    Also, Adam and Angie’s gorgeous duet still going strong, now over 800k views.

    aely, really, no apology needed, at least not for me! I was just trying to counter the impression people got from Damon’s tweet.
    Maybe the Boom Boom Room one got deleted because I don’t think they went there – wasn’t the party at The Catch? Maybe there was confusion over where to go. He did go to the party, cause the write-ups mention him. And, they are both just a block apart on 13th St.

    Thanks, Risky, looks like they went to Catch first which was tweeted by someone that saw him walk in the club/restaurant. Then he did the vine that he was going to the Boom Boom Room. After that (about an hour) a tweet was that they walked into Lil Charlies. So very reasonable that they went to all 3 places. Bottom line he is making a name for himself (in a great way), talking with tons of people, becoming more secure in who he is and being talked about. All totally positive! But still really funny.

The quiet, pared-down nature of the sequence contrasts strongly with everything that’s gone before, which is not a bad thing, although the very ending rather flatly wraps everything up in a jiffy.”

    Wonder if Adam read the book.

    LOL, Adam is really mixing it up! Those are interesting combos of people – bet he’s having the time of his life! And looking so good doing it! I have always been a Pitt fan – considered him to be gorgeous – but in the past 4 or 5 years he has strived to look anything but. Now there’s a case of really horrible facial hair and hair hair. The long hair in Achilles and Legends of the Fall was gorgeous, but this??
    So, I wonder how he felt being on that carpet with the vision of loveliness that was Adam (he HAD to notice, right?)

    Been thinking about Adam at the various premier parties and feeling very good about it! The fact that he attended several, apparently following the crowd of celebs from one to another leads me to believe that he truly felt a part of things and connected. He certainly looked the part of a chic A-lister, if it is true that “clothes make the man”.

    Morning all!
    I’ve been very absent lately, but had lots happen in my life. I sorta started my trip! I’ve been homeless since the beginning of May, but haven’t progressed very far yet Frown I did have a wonderful meeting with Calgary to start me off and that makes me look forward to all the other meetings I will have with you. Very exciting!
    Right now I’m doing a mini-trip to the north of Canada (Yukon) and maybe into Alaska. The north is far!!!
    (And cold at night, since I’m tenting, hammocking or sleeping in my car.)
