Pompous, self important, uppity, ridiculous and worst of all hurtful to his daughter. It is great to learn about culture but really? The Monkees are cultural highbrow? She is going to rebel and resent him in the long run. Moderation. He should look up the word.

Didn’t even look at the title! Sadly, I work in early childhood and have parents that do treat their children like that. Maybe not to that degree but I do worry about some of them…..just had one today. Her 4 year old is FAR to superior to “play” outside and should be required to read or listen to classical music during outside time. Not waste his time with “swings”. I got a whole essay. Then I read that article. Timing is everything isn’t it?

Hi Everyone! So glad you are all still here, my go to place for all things Adam. I just wanted to add that I bought my tickets to Universal Studios, so maybe I will run into you Little Dutchessand anyone else from here that is going. I will not be camping out all day to be up front though, too hot.
I’ll be there with my family and they’ll want to do the whole park. My 10 yr old daughter is so excited, she loves Adam’s music,I’m hoping since its a family park he will keep it clean.

Krads– I’m so sorry that you can’t go to Pittsburgh. Sometimes Adam has to take a back seat to the demands of RL. I was looking forward to visiting with you as you make your way north, and reading your recap. So, ulti and luval, we’re all counting on the two of you to give us the true scoop on the concert. I would have loved to have joined you myself, but I have to work this weekend in order to get the weekend before the San Diego concert off. Oh well, RL strikes again. At least we’ll get to enjoy the concert the next day thanks our devoted Glambert videographers.

Adams just started following Nancy Sinatra and Better Midler. Hope him and Nancy get to meet soon, she has been a fan for a long time.
Just saw Adam’s Fashion Police episode on my TV here. YAY! He was so adorable
And that is the second time that he has been on Israeli television in the past week, since VH1 Divas was just shown here a few days ago.

Super excited! Got plane tickets today to head back to Finland in September! Can’t wait to see ladynorth again.
I’m simply overwhelmed by my messages from CharityWater. I donated three times and have info about three wells.
I plan to donate again. BECAUSE this charity is the real deal. Because it is so thorough. Because you can see tangible results. Because the money is nearly 100% going to the cause.
Because I helped 1,750 people have safe drinking water.
And because Adam’s name is on three plaques on three new wells.
I know mils, Charity Water is very impressive. I found our cher’s name on the list on a couple of the wells as well as Kris Allen.

I’m kinda wishing I hadn’t chosen to be Anonymous there. I outed myself in my comments though. I remember scrolling through the comments looking for familiar names. I think a great many of us are getting email from Charity Water today.
It’s just so affirming.
On a political note, my state just sent women’s rights back to the stone ages. You all can Google it if you are interested. Our Gov also just fired a student regent to the university because he signed the recall petition against same Gov.
Bastards.
Just remember this when he runs for president. Because he is a front-runner.

The charity:water pictures and descriptions kind of brought tears to my eyes. So proud that Adam was able to make so much good happen in such poor areas of the world.

How odd…the charity water emails must be going out in bunches? I contributed a few times but only received an email for the first one. Maybe I was anonymous for the others. (shrug)
The nice thing is that I don’t need proof of where the money went, I am pretty confident that they can be trusted. An amazing charity.

I trust the charity: water foundation that my donations were put to good use and didn’t think I needed an email with proof, but wow, I got so emotional seeing the pictures and reading the stories of the communities and the numbers of people served. It feels incredible to be a small part of this effort, and to see Adam’s name on 55 wells that are currently listed as funded by his 29th birthday. As I understand it there are more to come, and also his 30th birthday fund. Absolutely amazing!
While I was looking at some donor names on one of the wells to which my funds were contributed, I saw our dear Oksana‘s name listed, as well as some others from here.
I agree with you all about charity:water. It makes me so happy to think that we all were able to make a real and lasting difference for so many people. Best money I have spent in a while. And there people think it’s all about the mascara.

Good Morning.
This gave me a couple of laugh out loud moments as I sit here bleary-eyed, sipping my morning coffee, and trying to wake up.
I thought of Adam a few times while Ellen DeGeneres was speaking as far as being gay, coming out, losing everything when she did, and the importance of being true to herself through it all.
She can be so funny!
