Hi everyone — Checking in from Italy! We were in Rome for a few days, and arrived in Florence today. Italy has been hot, chaotic, and intense by day, and balmy, enchanting, and magical by night. Lovely time!
Can’t believe only 2 more days until the first Queen + Adam show! Loved all of the BBC interviews. Adam is projecting confidence and excitement about what’s to come.

Finally made it back to AOL Sessions to post. I’ll share it here–
1. Adam is not whining, and never claimed to be an outcast. He has been an outsider (as he said) trying to break into the music business for many years. Even Paula Abdul couldn’t believe that he hadn’t gotten a record deal before trying out for Idol.
2. Adam is very open and honest about who he is. He is not the one who keeps bringing up his sexuality. The media seem to think that’s the only interesting thing about him. He has said many times he’d like to be known as a singer, not just a gay singer.
3. I’ve never seen him prance around. Anyone who has seen him in concert, even non-fans, will agree that he is a great live performer. He is sexy and fierce, yet humble and sensitive. Did I mention the voice? It’s ok to not care for his music, but his talent has been recognized in sold-out concerts around the world.
4. Many artists in the music industry agree that his voice is amazing–so much so that Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen have chosen him to front the band for six concerts this summer. Adam’s performance with Queen at the EMA’s is just a small teaser of what is to come for those lucky enough to attend.
5. Adam is now 30 years old, and has matured quite a bit in the last few years. Yes, he had some crazy times when he was younger, and some of it was captured on camera and shared online. He doesn’t make time for regrets, but has learned from missteps and moves on. But still, he comes from music theater, and loves to put on a show. He can be sexy whether decked out in glitter or leather or t-shirt and jeans!
6. Anyone complaining about nail polish, eyeliner, big hair, and other makeup must not have paid attention to many other singers from the last three decades. Adam didn’t invent that look. (But he may have perfected it.)
As you can see from my earlier post, it’s hard for me to be brief about anything!

I watched (I mean listened) both interviews, and liked them. What I enjoy all these UK interviews whether interviewer is an Adam fan or not, is that the gay issue is not relevant. It’s about music and music projects. But I am wondering when Adam Lambert will be presented as a “pop star who sold almost two million copies of his first album”, not an American idol alumn? Maybe after few weeks he will be presented as a legendary performer of Queen’s greatest hits

asif, that picture is breath-taking!! Lee Cherry just gets the best pics evah! And, he seems to like to use his “good side”, yes, even Adam has a good side. The right cheek has more acne scars, and it seems like so many of the interviews in the UK are highlighting his scars.

because I won’t be in London yet. But I really hope I have a chance to meet as many as possible around the concert nights. It can be the only possibility for me to meet fans across the see. VH1. Remember, most of us got it free when buying the album – not reported as single sales.

In itunes I don’t think you can buy multiple copies. Must be some crazy-fan-protection-policy. Amazon does not seem to have such qualms.
Any digital items I buy on Amazon, kindle books, music downoads, apps, if I have purchased them before there is a banner across the top that tells me, you purchased this item on XX-XX-xxxx. I can still buy it again, but it does remind me that I already have it.
luval, I went and bought the download from Amazon and iTunes (both reminded me I already had the song with the album) and then was able to get it from AO too. I have a separate iTunes account for my iPodTouch, so bought one there too. This may not work for everyone – j/s…..
But I think on Twitter they were reminding people who got it free with the album (or never even got the album), trying to get the sales up for charting, too.
But, like, what if your computer crashed and you lost the song? I don’t think they would actually stop you.

Love NCOE and that whole performance!!!!I’m sure the kids were prompted to jump & go crazy but it sure seemed authentic! And I agree with one of the comments that everyone should be dancing like this to that song. It’s so infectious. IMO anyway.
