Just a quick drop-in for a little blossom of hope:
I have been watching the iTunes #’s, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Trespassing has been creeping up on iTunes Pop Albums, from #68 last weekend up to #55 now. NCOE video has moved up slightly too, still in the top 100 at #67 up from #75 last week.
At Barnes&Noble, #58 in the top 100.
Amazon has it listed in their Best Selling of 2012 and they also have a banner showing the UK import under the most highly rated.
So, it has some legs and some steady sales.
With his next batch of US performances and hopefully some buzz from Queen, the legs may get stronger.

I,too, feel like the glass is half full not half empty when I hear those details, risky lady And when you add to that all the positives from the upcoming Queen gigs, the superlatives from Brian and Roger wherever they go and the invite to be at Elton John’s gala tonite and it all seems pretty good to me. Bet he’s still pinching himself! Ha!
Kradamour I’m at work and called the Duke about Adam and Sam attending the white tie and tiara gala tonite at Elton John’s home in Windsor and explaining that “white tie” is even more formal than black tie. The Duke said ‘I never knew that, really?’ (as if many of us would know that off the top of our heads!!) And I told him it was true…that someone on the blog had looked it up (and I read the description to him.) ‘As a matter of fact, it was Kradamour’. He then chuckled and said he wasn’t surprised. Krads, we defer always to your authority!!! Luv you!

I don’t think protocol is so strict in the UK nowadays. I think white tie and black ties are pretty interchangeable and mean the same thing, i.e. formal wear. Its just for the purpose of the party title, white tie and tiaras sounds much better than Black Ties and Tiaras!

On another subject, I just checked out the station 102.5 concert in Des Moines and the schedule is up. Adam is on from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. so we will get a full hour. The concert closes with Train at 8:45 to 10:15. In the words of Sauli, YAH!

Hmmmm. The Queen Extravaganza tour apparantly wraps up in Edmonton, Canada on July 3. By the time Adam gets back, does his scheduled gigs, to the end of July, would be an appropriate amount of time later for a real Queen appearance. I believe it is possible. Would still give Adam time for a few weeks of promo on the way to Japan. Hmmmm. {{strokes chin}}
I am in and out – mostly out my army son is visiting and this is the last time I will see him before he leaves for Afghanistan, so even Adam takes a back seat to that. Plus today is my mother’s birthday. Not posting but enjoying!

I agree with the post above that “white tie and tiara” was probably just a fun way to title the event. Photos show short dresses and all manner of male attire. Adam’s jacket fits to perfection, but I am not loving the exaggerated break in the slacks, it doesn’t go with the perfect tailoring of the jacket. So I’ll just look at photos of the waist up.
Ron, was it you who posted about Cher in NYC? I still dream of a Cher/Adam collaboration of some sort. She is so totally her own person and that voice just melts me. The video on the battleship is probably my favorite music video EVER!

Did most of you see that interview with Queen when they arrived in Moscow with the Russian reporter talking? You can kind of hear Brian saying “wait until you hear our lead singer Adam Lambert” and other things but I couldn’t make it out. It’s on AQD but I couldn’t bring it over here.
The way Adam has been talking about a possible tour it really seems it’s highly unlikely until next year. Lots of time after Japan in August to guest with Queen in the fall somewhere in the USA.
And I’m getting nervous all of a sudden about Saturday!
