After a very busy couple of weeks of promo and radio concerts following the release of “Trespassing” on May 15, Adam will head to London early this month to begin preparations for his upcoming concerts with Queen. He will do some album promo and a couple of live performances in the UK as well, where Trespassing is set for a July 2 release date. One of these shows is the “Rays of Sunshine” charity event at the very prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Adam will also return briefly to the US for a free radio concert in San Francisco on June 24.

Oops! Well, the cat’s out of the bag now.

So I had another what-the-hell-was-I-thinking-last-night moment again!

luval emailed this morning to say she’s never heard of that song before. I don’t blame her … I made it unrecognizable! It’s really a throw-away, happy go lucky, upbeat song from “Gypsy” that I turned into a dirge!

Oh well, no more singing videos from me, I promise! The sound is marginally better than some of the dinners we’ve shared here. It’s so muddy! The tiny little speakers in my webcam can’t possibly capture the full, rich, lushness of my ~~wobbly vibrato~~ exquisite tones.

No Adam sightings?! Is he still sleeping in London or has he followed the concert equipment to Kiev? Very glad the show is set and that he has these few days to rest and prepare for the show. I’m excited for him for this performance but find myself feeling nervous about the London shows and I’m not sure why I feel that way.

I think we’re all a little nervous, Ron. So much could be at stake! and there are still the trolls who blame Adam for trying to fill whats-his-name’s shoes. It is a HUGE introduction for peeps in Europe who have not heard or heard of Adam.

He’ll slay it, of course, but we’d all be crazy to be complacent (that ain’t what we do best, anyway…not a lot of complacency here in the sandbox…our trademark is angst and speculation!)

I believe Adam has a morning show or something in Manchester tomorrow morning, and I would assume some more practice time with Queen, and one could only hope with Elton too. Probably off to Kiev on the 29th.

Neither one of us is what you’d call a shutterbug so the thought of taking photos never occurs to us. Rather than a scrapbook, if I put something together, it would be more like a pamphlet.

Here though are two rare exceptions. I forgot I had this first one on the computer.

rs is on a Scandinavian cruise at the moment and asked me to post this here for her:

I have the Adam Lambert story of the week, if not the year. So here I am in a little town in the Faroe Islands, literally in the middle of nowhere, wandering around town. I saw this strange sculpture and I asked this young man who was walking by if he knew the meaning of it. We chatted a while about this place and the people and it’s culture, and we got around to talking about what there is to do here. He talked about a big rock concert where the Gibb brother who recently died was here last year and even though he was so sick, he gave his all, and the people loved him so much. Anyway he threw out some names of other pop artists who had been here, and he sang some of their songs so I would recognize them. He was so cute. He was wearing a John Lennon t-shirt and I said that he is my generation. Then I mentioned Queen and that I am going to see them in London. He laughed and said that Queen is his generation. At first he mentioned Paul Rogers, and I said, no, Adam Lambert is singing with him. His eyes lit up and he said, Oh, from American Idol! He has a great voice!

So out here on a desolate island in the North Atlantic there is a young man who knows Adam and now knows that he will be singing with Queen. Of course, he has been working in Norway for 3years, so he might have heard of him from there.

Exactly, glambotgram. My favorite interviews are the ones where Adam and the interviewer just sit and have a conversation…Adam is so thoughtful and articulate, not to mention his gorgeous voice (speaking as well as singing) and his facial expressions are so expressive…and that laugh!

So our boy is #10…woot! But I didn’t love the photo…he looked much older than recent photos. With so many gorgeous ones out there, how did they find that one? Oh, well. (Picky, picky!) But we know that we could have found a hundred better ones if they had only asked us!

I just looked at the top 50 100 men, agree with kradamour, not a good photo at all. I haven’t heard of a lot of those guys, there’s a few that look pretty hot, most aren’t imo though. I don’t find Chris Colfer, Darren Criss,michael shum or NPH at all hot, cute maybe but not hot…..

Yep, barely looks like Adam. About 3/4 of the guys are clearly posing for their picture, for the rest they seemed to have pulled the first picture they came across.

Got it to work, Adam looked and sounded gorgeous, the 2 presenters were pretty crap though. Not nearly as good as Lorraine whatshername on the other breakfast tv programme during the first era.

Well, I’d say he was very cute and looked real good (suit with teal leopard print shirt). The anchors were very positive. At one point they asked how come he gets to sing with Queen, noticing that NCOE does not sound much like queen. Adam answered that well though by saying he can sing more than one genre. Would have been nice if they had had a tiny clip from the EMAs. -Good night all.
