With the full HAC panel now reporting, NCOE got just the one auto-add this week (WOMX Orlando).
For comparison, through 9 weeks of HAC adds (4/23/12 – 6/18/12), NCOE has a total of 29 adds (just one in each of the past two weeks). BTIKM had 38 HAC adds through 9 weeks (1/2/12 – 2/27/12), with 8 adds in the 9th week including KBIG (LA) and WRQX (DC).
We’ll see what happens with Top 40 adds tomorrow. Zero thus far with 54 of 155 stations reporting.
To compare in another way, NCOE currently stands at #36 on HAC with 417 spins. At the equivalent point in the cycle for BTIKM (2/27/12), it was #28 with 657 spins on HAC.
For Top 40, the closest equivalent data I have for BTIKM is from 2/24/12, when it was #59 with 272 spins. It seems likely that NCOE is doing slightly better than that at this point.
Thanks for the numbers, eywflyer. NCOE is such a great song. Let’s see what happens with Queen although I’m not counting on this to help with sales. Hopefully there will be worldwide coverage…in mainstream media.

A question about a chat site such as this one…..as this is the first site that I have actually ventured out of lurkdom, should I expect an answer to my comments or just accept the fact that I am somewhere out in the universe with my comments

Good question, josephine. I don’t expect an answer to my comments. Many comments don’t warrant an answer. They are just interesting to read. Sometimes I’ll ask a question but get no answer. No big deal. It usually means no one knows the answer and they just move on or may not want to reply at that point. I’ve done that myself. I usually post to get things off my chest knowing people here understand if I get a little loopy. All is well here and we all are kindred spirits who love Adam and all that he represents! So keep on posting. Lurking is ok but it’s more fun to get involved.

Hi josephine, was gonna respond to your question about your comments, but I see that a couple of folks already have–pretty much in the same way that I would have. If I’m really busy, I may go a day or so before I read back and see someone’s comments/questions. For instance, I read your post earlier this afternoon just before I went to a visitation for a friend’s husband who died Friday. Then I went grocery shopping and then out to dinner. So I’m just now getting back and was going to check out your guy Bleck.
Don’t feel alone on here. We want everyone to come here and feel welcome. Sometimes peeps just get sidetracked and don’t comment or answer questions. But, we all LURVE Adam and want him to be happy. Gonna check out Zander in a few minutes.
eywflyer, thank you for the tracking information on NCOE. I hadn’t realized 20 on 20 was playing it that often because I only have XM in my car, thus there are big blocks of time that I don’t get to listen.

Oh, someone posted this afternoon that they had received their Fault, it was all wrapped in cellophane, and they were going to open it when they are alone and can enjoy. I posted that I had received mine a couple of weeks ago. It looked so pretty and neat in that cellophane that I decided to leave it in pristeen condition by not opening it at all. Of course it is going into my Pink Suede Adamphernalia Box.
So, after everyone gets theirs and if anyone wants to post some of the pics/articles from it on here, I would be ever so happy to see them. I know we’ve seen some of it posted much earlier. But I don’t know if all of it has been posted online.

josephine hi! I don’t depend on getting all my questions answered or posts responded to since I often don’t have time to read all past posts or am timely in regard to my own responses. There are times when strings of conversations or jokes may not make much sense because they started on other chats or several pages back. That’s the nature of a blog with longstanding participants.
Please know that there are nothing but kind souls on this blog who adore Adam and really enjoy having others to share their feeling with. Someone will usually give you an answer if they have one. So keep on posting.

Hi adamized!!! When the concerts were going on last month, I didn’t have a lot of time to read all of the comments. I went back a week or so ago and found a comment that you directed to me—about how you missed my being there with you guys and that it seemed I should be there too. That made me feel good because I was missing being there too with all of you who had been at Ste. Agathe. josephine, I just checked out Zander Bleck. Where did he come from? It’s just like out of the blue, here he is. Of course, I had to check out Bohemian Rhapsody by him. Also checked out Temptation. I liked the style of that song. His voice doesn’t sound that much like Adam’s voice, but I think he wants the same things. He’s a good looking guy and sounds like he has the same ambition as Adam to bring back that 80’s type sound. Maybe with him and Adam working on it, it may happen. I’m hopeful.
Okay, good nite peeps. I’ll probably pull a Kradamour and check back several times before I finally turn out the lights. But, I’m trying to get myself into a horizontal sleep pattern.
Ceddies–it will probably be a lifetime before we ever hear a voice like Adams, but Zander can sing and there is a real sincerity about him that reminds me of Adam…but I just have a feeling their songs will be competing and he really admires Adam!!!! That’s a good thing—
I may be the only one who can see this, but if you just look across the eyes and nose (block the hair, block the lips and chin), he very much resembles Tommy Joe Ratliff in this picture. JMO
josephine, you’re probably right about the competition. But in that 3:49 interview, he does say that he admires Adam and what he is doing musically (paraphrasing).

I have been meaning to comment on your picture a while back. You are one handsome dude, and NOTHING like I pictured you to look like. Its funny you hear a name, see someone talking, well typing, lol, and you form a picture of what they look like, well at least I do, anyhow Im not going to even describe what I thought you looked like, its too funny, I just wanted to get that off my chest, as it were.

Often the characters look nothing like you’ve imagined them to look when reading.

Watched that fashion show that Sauli hosted (posted up there somewhere) (waves vaguely toward the previous pages) – the boy can match Adam beam for beam on the eyebeams. Both of them can have so much focus and “in the moment” intensity.
Re Adam and Tommy looking similar in that picture – yes, a little bit. I have often seen a similarity in their pics. Even more similar are some of the Tommy and Sauli pics. Very similar bone structure and features.

According to a write-up on NewNowNext, Zander Bleck was a model for a few years, then toured with Gaga as a dancer and backup singer. It looks like Gaga is behind the sudden launch of his music career. To me, it’s sort of like a Lana del Rey thing, fabricating a career out of a few songs he wrote while on her tour because he doesn’t want to model anymore. To me, he has an OK voice, but not extraordinary, and is good-looking but no charisma to speak of.
I’m really sick of US radio, now they want to throw Cher Lloyd and Olly Murs at us with hourly plays, etc. Who the hell is requesting THEM? No one over here even knows where the hell they came from. Requesting to me is not effective.
I wish the entire GlamNation would issue a statement and boycott US radio. Tell them we’ll stream, get Sirius, or just listen to our MP3’s all the time. F them!
