After a very busy couple of weeks of promo and radio concerts following the release of “Trespassing” on May 15, Adam will head to London early this month to begin preparations for his upcoming concerts with Queen. He will do some album promo and a couple of live performances in the UK as well, where Trespassing is set for a July 2 release date. One of these shows is the “Rays of Sunshine” charity event at the very prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Adam will also return briefly to the US for a free radio concert in San Francisco on June 24.

Our featured photo (Brian Ach – Getty Images) for this month shows Adam in a very happy mood while performing at the KTUPhoria radio concert. Enjoy the chat!

The “weeping” dialogue at the end of the Collins show was one of the most entertaining bits I’ve ever seen of Adam – he just couldn’t stop laughing – marvelous to watch.

  3. ultimathule says:

I like MOG – it’s $5.00 a month, but worth it. They have a sliding scale where you can get all one singer or gradually interpose others as much as you want.

OK, I got a new puppy for agility yesterday. Its a McNab border collie. I couldnt think of a name a day for him, so when I went to the vet they asked his name and I said
Tresspass. The girl smiled, so now that is his name. I cant wait to see when asked his name if anyone mentions Adam, this is gonna be cute!!!! BTW little Tresspass is a pain in the ass, all he is doing is barking and squealing. At the vets he screamed bloody murder when they simply were giving him some drops in his mouth. What did I get my self into, I was laughing so hard when the vet tech called Tresspass your next, LOLOLOLOLOLOl Dog Dog 2 Doctor

Miss Chaos…that is so funny! I tried to change my cat’s name to Adam but it didn’t take!

Ron, I’ll take that, and give you this:

Thank you, mils. Just watched and will admit to a little bit of seepage. Big Smile

  8. milwlovesadam says:

    LOL Ron.

I amended the second one to a better one. It knocks my socks off, for two reasons, she’s young, and it is bringing this kind of music and singing to young people.

  9. milwlovesadam says:

With Adam between shows, Glee and Smash over for the season, and Idol over. I’m needing entertainment! Thanks Ron.

    Gotta go, real life beckons…

Really like Eder, Ron – went to her concert at Wolf Trap in Virginia a few years ago – have a couple of her CD’s and on my iPod dl’d “Only Love” from the short-lived “The Scarlet Pimpernel” Broadway musical. Really beautiful.

    That’s wonderful, ulti!

I made that post for mils but also for everyone else who doesn’t know Linda Eder. Her voice is fantastic.

“The Scarlet Pimpernel”. I thought it was “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” but … you’re right. I have her CD’s too and think that she’s a remarkable talent.

I also want her jacket!! Big Smile

I love that he beat Levine on the “Sexiest” list – especially after the WWFM dopiness.

  13. dcglam says:

Haha, ultimathule — I was thinking the same thing about Adam Levine.
Well, he certainly knows who Adam Lambert is now!! High Five!

  14. sparkle says:

ulti – I was thinking the same thing when I read the list. Even if Adam Levine claims not to know him, a lot more people voted for AFL than Adam Levine. LOL!

  15. riskylady says:

To me, Adam Levine looks like a thug or gang member. And Adam beat him with PLENTY (!) to spare. That radio station CapitalFM in the UK that sponsored that huge Wembley concert last Saturday tried to upset that by having a poll and pimping Bieber, of all people. The winner was whoever got the most “likes.” Well, Adam crushed Bieber 252 to 69 LOL.

Anyway, ultima, thanks for the MOG info. I didn’t know about them, but will try them too. Gonna get Adam streaming as much as I can.

  16. ultimathule says:

Yes – that Sexiest win was all over the place – didn’cha just love it. AQD had a whole bunch of links that I went into and each time I savored it all over again – just sitting in front of the screen cackling to myself.

  17. asifclueless says:

    Adam Lambert þ@adamlambert
This new Usher album is NUTS.

Adam is so generous, gracious and secure to promote and praise other artists.
    I hope it’s good karma.

    I thought I couldn’t love him more.

I can totally picture that, ulti!
Those sorts of mental images are a lot of what is so wonderful when we actually meet each other in person on our Adam quests. Those blog posts are suddenly so much more meaningful when each post is a real live person that I have met! And reconnecting at another event is even more special. dcglam has said it often, but really it reaches a point where the excitement of seeing Adam is almost eclipsed by the excitement of reconnecting with like-minded friends.

I haven’t weighed in on your great pic, eywflyer – what a wonderful memento of that concert weekend! Thank you for posting it. I am so glad that you were able finally to meet the man who is the focus of this amazing labor of love.

I don’t know what impresses me more, the new avi picture of Ron, or the technical skills needed to do so!!

HK fan … Thanks for the videos of your daughter.
    She is GORGEOUS and TALENTED!!!

Her voice shines through the noisy background, her beauty brightens the dark setting.

If you have her videos singing at home with good lighting and quiet background, please share them with us.

What a lovely family you have!!!

  24. Kradamour says:

OMG, sistasif, what a terrific tee!
Now why on earth can’t Adam’s marketing peeps figure out things like that…sheesh. That is even a good body shape for the T rather than the plain guy ring neck.

I’ll be “On the stairs” until my sons give a lesson!

    And don’t ever change, Gorgeous!

Speaking of stairs … whatever happened to those stairs, or those “coffee tables” from GNT? Are they in Adam’s garage?

You can have the stairs mils (I’m being so generous), I want one of those “coffee tables”.

I’d like one. I’d use it. As a real coffee table. Even though it would more likely be used as a real beer table. Laugh

So, if I could interview Adam, I’d ask him where the stairs and coffee tables are and …

What was it like going to the premiere of the movie “2012” and hearing your voice, with that sound system, in that setting, during the closing credits?

I don’t think any interviewer has asked him that question before and I would love to hear his response.

That PopMatters review by Josh Langhoff just sticks in my craw. A white, straight, married Christian pontificating about Adam’s music not being queer enough – and how Adam’s “screeches” are sooo amazing – annoys the H out of me. Even the title: “Trespassing? Yeah, my ass” is nasty. Felt like replying: “Christian? Yeah, my ass.”

huffington post: Jim Parsons from the big bang theory came out as gay today. Half way down the page is a slide show of other out celebrities, with Adam in it. (They made it sound as if he was in the closet before the Rolling Stone Interview, but still a nice mention.)

  34. luval says:

Ok. Bieber has pulled up his semi-Cossack pants a dozen times and grabbed the crotch area several times on The Today show. And oddly the crowd was very subdued at the end if that Boyfriend song.

  35. rs says:

I am just taking a break from my hysterically trying to “pack light” for an almost 4 week trip that will include Norway, Iceland and London and the need for nice as well as very informal clothes.

I came in at the point of the Toronto article, which I was unable to open, but I guess it was just as well. I read the most important part, which was your comment ron. In a world where we see so much hatred for so many other things, especially in my neck of the woods, hating people for who they choose to love, just seems so…well…. ridiculous. (Not that those “other things” are justified, but we won’t get into that here).

I was following the discussion about Adam’s failure to get radio play and it made me think. There is a reason that I never listen to pop radio, and hadn’t followed any singers for years until Adam came along. With a few exceptions the stuff on the radio is geared to 14 year olds (when I was 14 I was listening to She Loves You and I wanna Hold Your Hand) and to the lowest common denominator. Even now, I can’t get through most of the stuff that is recommended, even by Adam. Adele is the exception, and I give Lady Gaga a listen, although she was an acquired taste and I don’t like her later stuff. The things I like usually don’t make the radio. I know that Adam loves Pop, but he is just too good and sophisticated for the crap that the kids love and listen to on the radio. Just listen to his lyrics. He can’t dumb himself down that much and we wouldn’t love him if he did. We have to remember that WE ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE OF THE RADIO STATIONS. Or at 29, I am not, anyway. I hope I haven’t insulted any radio listeners. Adam is a musician’s musician, and people who appreciate an incredible voice, meaningful lyrics, and a beautiful human being, inside and out will continue to support him and his career, wherever it takes him, hopefully to a Grammy or two or three or ten.

    OK, back to organizing

  36. turquoisewaters says:

rs: this should be a wonderful trip! I envy you. And totally agree with your analysis re radio.

  37. ultimathule says:

    At grammy.com/news (AQD) re “Sexiest”:

ITA with your entire post, rs. Mostly my radio is tuned to French pop radio, and often after a song I ask myself if an Adam song could come next on the playlist. And generally, I answer myself that it would fit quite well. The state of current U.S. pop is abysmal – even two years ago, I enjoyed it, but today I turn on the radio and last ten minutes before I decide silence would be preferable.

  43. ultimathule says:

I would’ve loved to have “sniffed,” turquoisewaters,” but would’ve needed stilts to get up that high. (He was nice – bent down to say hello.)

Radio – tried to listen to 94.7 here in DC/MD as they were good to Adam. But the station rarely plays NCOE and the rest of the stuff is so repetitious, gave up.

Went to MOG and played the new Usher album. Had dl’d “Scream” before Adam’s recommendation. Like it and will dl a bunch more tracks – maybe the whole thing.

Yeah – bye, radio – if it’s on it’s the classical station.

  46. turquoisewaters says:

ultimathule: I could have put my 5’10 to good use. Thinking On the other hand, as much as I adore Adam, I really would not want to creep him out or pester him, so I am glad I just said “hi” when I ran into him, especially since he was clearly off-duty.

    Happy B-day cgesq!

    Bon Voyage rs!!

After listening to that interview, I guess I am guilty of coming in close to the ear, and muttering my inane comment. Oh well….it was good for {{{ me }}}.

And a COLD? A COLD? Mercy me. Oh-oh my. Oh noes!!

{[[ preps chicken soup }}}} Oh right. No fan food. Dammit. I just hope somebody over there can make him a decent batch.

    Sauli, are you listening?
