Son #2 just made me so happy, he was going through a lot of my old CD’s for his car listening this summer, and he chose several of my faves, Rumours, The Stranger, Essential MJ, Essential Neil Diamond, and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

So, I opened the case for Simon and Garfunkel, and read the liner notes, which I hadn’t done in likely 20 years, and the lyrics reminded me of something so much I just had to say so here.

It’s also so nice to come home today from work to such beautiful vids and photos, AL, Texas, and glambotgram. I especially love to see photos that capture the audience during Adam’s shows. They are always the best, in my opinion.
I have seen a number of commercials recently promoting this new series. Gotta give it to Larry Hagman — he must be at least 80 years old now. From what I have heard, both Pat Duffy and Linda Gray will be returning as well. It will be interesting to see how the new actors/actresses will do.

I have also seen a number of them for Katy Perry’s movie, Part of Me. I’m not at all sure, but from the commercials it looks as though this may actually be a biography of her life. Any more info???

This movie trailer that I am posting is quite interesting. It seems that things weren’t always easy for Katy and that she was actually dropped from her original label. I feel she is a lot like Adam in many ways — her theatrics for sure as well as her determination. I love her because of her uniqueness as well as her connection with Adam and definitely plan to see her movie.

I’m a proud mummy this morning, went to a bar last night to see my daughter do her ‘singing’ debut in HK, an acoustic 8 song set. The crowd (lots of friends..) were very enthusiastic. She’s done musicals before but never straight up singing. Did Syrup and Honey, Do it like a Dude, RITD, a jazz number, a portuguese/English song among others..

Adam got 5 ADDs today, 1 Canada HAC, one US HAC and 3 US CHR/Pop. Hopefully at some point they will start spinning NCOE more.
I do think the upcoming US performances after Queen will help sales, and maybe there will be some buzz from Queen, too.

I think it’s a good thing I wasn’t reading during the see-saw pages – up, down, up, down, etc. Much easier to stay optimistic if you’re not “hanging out” and reading the posts as they come in! LOVED your analysis, Kradamour! I remember Adam saying that all the fame in the world is nothing without someone to share it. And no matter what level of fame he achieves, I know Adam would agree that it’s better than being a huge superstar without Sauli! I remember when Adam was describing what he was looking for in a boyfriend, physically. He was looking for someone cute, smaller and younger (if I recall correctly) and he FOUND him!
My 40 minute drive to work at my new job is practically painless, thanks to AFL. I do have to guard against losing myself in the music but I so look forward to my drive home, singing along with Adam!

You might remember also my anger that I had to buy her CD from a reseller (no $$ for her) because she is British and her CD is not available for sale to the US. Grrrrr…..the music industry whines that we don’t buy CDs, and then they put all kinds of roadblocks in our way to keep us from buying the CDs we want to buy!
Or, when we want to buy a video (are you listening RCA?) it isn’t available for sale until everyone and their cousin has downloaded it from youtube for free BECAUSE IT ISN’T AVAILABLE FOR SALE UNTIL WEEKS AFTER IT IS RELEASED.
