After a very busy couple of weeks of promo and radio concerts following the release of “Trespassing” on May 15, Adam will head to London early this month to begin preparations for his upcoming concerts with Queen. He will do some album promo and a couple of live performances in the UK as well, where Trespassing is set for a July 2 release date. One of these shows is the “Rays of Sunshine” charity event at the very prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Adam will also return briefly to the US for a free radio concert in San Francisco on June 24.

Our featured photo (Brian Ach – Getty Images) for this month shows Adam in a very happy mood while performing at the KTUPhoria radio concert. Enjoy the chat!

I love that Adam keeps mentioning my birthday! It is the day that NCOE comes out in the UK. Of course I will be on a cruise going up the Norwegian Coast and will be internetless most of the time until July 2nd.

” Adam Lambert, dressed in a royal blue suit, arrives at the Royal Albert Hall for the Rays of Sunshine Charity concert yesterday.”

He looks gorgeous .. but.. but .. LOL .. He is carrying a plastic bag. (London Graphic Centre) It must be a gift bag or a programme bag.

    Dorky!!!

This photo is one of my favourites from Just Jared.

Oh, so we’re sharing “table dancing” stories, are we? Well, I wasn’t dancing on the table the night I met my hubby, but I was having such a wonderful time at a college “Spring Fling” that I was wearing the floral centerpiece in my hair and my strapless Guy-Rex gown kept, er, slipping down a bit. I was having a ball with my gay best friend and my husband was with another girl – he said he thought to himself “I’m calling that girl tomorrow”, and he did!

I think we need to make a list of things he could say instead of “Are you guys having fun?” and tweet it to him. Suggestions?

  23. milwlovesadam says:

turquoise, LOL. You are so right!

    How about:

    Did you like my song?

    Do you like my shoes?

Should I take off my shirt?

Do you have a good view of my GB?

    or

    Get ready

ROFLOL, one of your best lists ever!

  26. Ceddies says:

Maybe that is it – for me the pain that I hear in the voice has gone beyond lyrics to become simply inarticulate animal pain.

I’m about 12 hours late to this conversation, but I was just reading to catch up from last night and wanted to make a comment that I had been meaning to make prior to now. Kradamour, I know you didn’t mean your (above) sentiment in the way that I want to address it. But this is similar IMO.

Usually when I’m on my computer, my cat (Ceddie) is curled up on a table beside my desk or on the dropdown keyboard table in front of me. Beginning with the release of the snippets of Underneath, Ceddie would stir from her resting place and come over, walk on my laptop, and try to get to the source of the sound. She would look at me and meow. She hasn’t done this on any other song, just Underneath. She did it for several weeks after I started playing it but hasn’t done it lately. Guess she figured out she couldn’t get to the source.

I so love this song. It still gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it.

  27. Ceddies says:

I am a very good and careful driver, but I think that Trespassing makes me lose my concentration since I sing along, listen to the words, get carried away, etc.

Haha, rs, I know all too well what you mean about this. Probably all of us do. I was that way with FYE CD. Last summer when I drove to Ste. Agathe, all my friends said “Just put Adam on and drive, you’ll be there before you know it”. They don’t know how he affects us. I had told them that I couldn’t concentrate and listen to Adam. I traveled up there listening to other CD’s and XM radio. On the way home, I started missing Adam, so I put FYE on. I had driven only 10 miles when I missed a major exit because I couldn’t concentrate on the GPS with Adam’s voice present—even though I had no problem hearing the GPS when others were singing or talking. It’s crazy how he just takes over our entire being at times.

So I went back to Leona Lewis CD. BTW, she does a fantastic version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.

  28. k_in_cal says:

firstimerob Not sure if I’m going to Nick’s yet. A lot depends on what time my daughter gets off work. I will let you know.

  29. turquoisewaters says:

mils: thanks for stepping up to the challenge. I like “do you like my shoes?”, and then maybe “do you have a good view — of my shoes?”. I think it’s always better to leave things a bit open to interpretation. Fans will pick up on any double meanings anyway. If not he can always discuss shoe size. ROTFL

  30. firstimerob says:

k in Cal What section do you get a ticket in at Fantasy?

  31. rs says:

Ceddies, I wrote in an earlier post about all the turns I messed when I drove inter-city the first time I listened to my Trespassing CD.

For me, the first and only version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, and the one with the most memories and emotional attachment, will always be my favorite singer of my college years, Miss Roberta Flack

Here is the Leona Lewis version. Also nice, but not as delicate. JMO

  32. k_in_cal says:

I’m in Section NN Row K. The set I accidently threw back was Section FF Row H (I think). When I saw Adam here last time I believe I was in Section DD Row B. Pretty good but not quite close enough to the stage. Although, still not 100% sure I’m going to attend the FS show but I got the tickets…just in case.

  33. firstimerob says:

k in cal Thanks for the information. Never been before I am pretty new at this stuff. I guess I am pretty far back thought I was doing good by getting in the middle section. At least I will not have any regrets like the last Fantasy where I was too chicken to go by myself.

  34. Ceddies says:

For me, the first and only version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, and the one with the most memories and emotional attachment, will always be my favorite singer of my college years, Miss Roberta Flack

rs, Killing Me Softly was/still is my favorite Roberta Flack song. I went back and listened to TFTEISYF by her, but I personally prefer Leona’s version. It’s just a really good song regardless of who is singing it.

  35. glambotgram says:

TFTEISYF aaahhhggg My mom made me despise that song, she set it to play on our record player over and over, when I was a teenager. I woke up to it at 6 in the morning, it was on when I went out the door, when I came back in the door, when I went to bed, in the car. I could not escape that song.

HMMM I wonder if that is how the people around me feel about Adam’s music? JK I usually just play him really loud when I am by myself. LOL

  36. Ron says:

    Hi everyone.

I am so moved by the touching kindness of our one and only AL, the thoughtfulness and creativity of mlg and the loving efforts of my friend TLKC today.

    I’m stunned.

My phone rang this morning and it was TLKC asking me if we could go to lunch. What a great idea! It was such a beautiful day, the restaurant patios are open, and we agreed to meet at one of our favorite restaurants at 1:45pm. We’re both very punctual people but I was the first to arrive. Knowing TLKC is always on time, I was very surprised when more than 20 minutes had passed and she hadn’t arrived. This has never happened before. 25 minutes go by and where is TLKC? Ah, THERE she is waving at me from the other side of the patio and gesturing that she was going to go inside. I assumed it was to use the ladies room. But she was only inside for maybe 30 seconds when she then joined me at the patio table.

Next thing I know, a waiter hands me a very large and flat paper bag and says, “Special delivery for Ron”. What?! Did he really say my name? Special delivery! What was going on?!

This is what was inside the paper bag to commemorate the autograph signing:

    http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL629/13192141/24122712/402955488.jpg

I automatically thought that TLKC had this made for me. Why would I think any differently? But while I was admiring it and recognizing mlg‘s work, TLKC is telling me, “No, it’s from the people on A.L.L.” Suddenly I was very confused to the point where I didn’t even realize that she was filming me as it was happening.

Here’s a brief clip that she emailed from her iPhone. It cuts off just as it’s beginning to sink in that she didn’t do this for me … it was AL‘s idea!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxlSf58u2Is&feature=youtu.be

It goes on much longer but apparently one can’t email large files from an iPhone. TLKC is going to send me the full video later this evening.

AL, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don’t think I can properly express how much this means to me. You’re a dear and kind man and I’m very lucky to be your friend. I’ll always remember this wonderful gesture! I can’t thank you enough.

mlg, Thank you for taking the time to make this for me! I will have it framed and I will cherish it always! I so appreciate your artistry and your kindness. So thoughtful!!

TLKC, I love you with all my heart.

    What a wonderful afternoon!

P.S. TLKC was 25 minutes late because the poster wasn’t quite ready when she went to pick it up.

ETA: the poster is a nice sized 12 X 14.5 inches.

  37. ultimathule says:

Ron – really happy for you, but what I really love is YOUR SHIRT – it’s gorgeous. And you look great.

P.S. Love the expression on Adam’s face when he’s meeting you.

  38. Ceddies says:

Oh, rauhn, errr ron. What a neat surprise. And who better to pull of the surprise for you. Love your black and white shirt too. The poster is lovely!!!!!! And you look great!!!

  39. rs says:

Oh ron, how wonderful. Reading your post, seeing the photo, and the video made me cry. What a fantastic way to remember an unforgettable occasion. You deserve it. You are such a great friend to everyone here. And thanks to everyone who made it happen.

  40. Ron says:

I’m going to be on the phone for a bit but I want to say thanks for the nice compliments! I really appreciate them and all of you!

My very own mlg poster!! I’m so honored!

    BRB

  41. Kradamour says:

MOG, Ron, too too too cool!
    Smile Smile Smile
And I’ll take this oppy to say that I love the hairstyle you are sporting in the vid – quite the eye-candy to enhance TLKC’s lunch!

Ceddies, what an interesting story about your kitty and Underneath. She “gets” it.

turquoise, you are totally right that Adam needs to ask us something other than “Are you having fun?”. Boy needs to be more creative. Mils’ list is a good start.
(and if he suddenly starts to say other things, we’ll know he lurks here!)
    Grin Grin Grin

  42. mlg says:

    Ron Big Smile XO

  43. milwlovesadam says:

Very off topic, I haven’t read Ron’s post yet. But will after this.

I never realized before just how much BB is channeling George Michael.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG5N3GC-m20&feature=player_detailpage

    Can you even believe it?

  44. turquoisewaters says:

Ron: This immediately reminded me of Adam opening the Rolling Stones Cover Pic way back when. You and Adam have exactly the same reaction. I love it.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ6hs395jwk

  45. milwlovesadam says:

Ron, such a wonderful gift for a wonderful man. And, you never looked better than in the black and white shirt, shades and hair.

Well, except for the day you met Adam!

  46. glambotgram says:

Ron wonderful video you look quite dashing! Such a great surprise for you.

TLKC, mlg, AL That was a wonderful thing to do for a fantastic guy. Beautiful poster, you do such inspired work.

  47. dcglam says:

Please add me to the ever growing list of tears over here, Ron! This is only further proof that many people think the world of you and love you so much, including myself.
And yeah….. You look pretty hot as well!!! Razz

  48. dcglam says:

    I agree, mils….
That silhouette of George Michael looks mighty familiar!
The comments underneath the video look very familiar as well (“fantastic voice, and he’s gorgeous”). Wink

  49. milwlovesadam says:

Yup. The suit. The shoulders. The pompadour. The mood of the video. The double pierced ears. The meticulous vocals. The slim pants.

So many of George Micheal’s songs and videos clearly influenced BB.

I have a thought. I wonder if any special guests will show up on stage with Elton John and Queen. I’m thinking it would be Bowie, finally, or even George Michael.

  50. milwlovesadam says:

    OMG. I’m having another thought.

What if Adam and Elton sang “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me?”

The thought of it is just, well, just….too much.
