I’m outside the US too and the video was blocked for me also. But, using Firefox and installing the Add-on “Anonymox”, enables anyone not in the US to view it. It changes my Canadian IP address to a US IP address. It will change your Hong Kong IP address to a US IP address and you can view the video as many times as you like.

Is *5,000 views some kind of target number? Will that put it into a special category? I don’t know. I seem to remember something about 5,000 views being significant.

Hi Ron. Am at work so I can’t view right now, but one of the comments said it has to get to 20,000 view before they’ll put it on the countdown. Who knows if that’s true. Plus all the other factors that supposedly come into play. It’s ridiculous.

I was so sad last night to read the article someone posted about Bieber’s single getting back on track with the radio stations (and did anyone notice that one of the comments was supposedly from a guy who works at a staton and says it’s “payola” that does it)? I kept thinking how it doesn’t happen like that for our BB and he so deserves it because he works so hard and has true talent. I had to stop reading the blog at that point and do something else.(Yay Celtics (former MA/Boston suburbs gal)!
If Adam didn’t have the real talent he has it wouldn’t upset me as much.

Ron, I never told you, but I downloaded the Anonymox to my firefox and can now see the previously blocked MTV and Vh1 videos, and other shows. I don’t know if it is supposed to permanently stay in that state, or if I am supposed to switch it there just when I want to watch one of the blocked programs. I couldn’t figure out how to switch it back, so since I don’t usually use firefox, I have just left it as is, and go there when I want to watch something that I can’t see on Explorer.

I’m glad to know that you’ve found it to be useful. It really does come in handy for us non-U.S. residents! If you go to “Tools” in Firefox and click on “Add-ons”, in the drop down window you’ll find it listed and can ‘enable’ or ‘disable’ it. You can also customize it to not include specific sites and it will automatically revert back to your default home country IP address. Very well done, nicely thought out little add-on that manages to do a lot.

It’s so tough for us but Adam just continues working hard and takes every opportunity as it comes. He has to be pinching himself about performing at the Royal Albert Hall! And how great is it that he was selected to sing with Queen. That’s huge! He appears to stay mostly positive…he doesn’t cry and whine (inside may be different!).We need to also stay focused on the positive and remember all the joy he has brought to us and how much our lives have been enriched by him and his music. I know we just want for him what we know he deserves and the unfairness of so much that ‘s out there is the music/radio world is traumatizing. But the end of Adam Lambert is NOT near. And maybe the best is yet to come!

It really makes me hopeful for all of our continued friendships to think that another year has passed and many of us are still getting together. I feel the same way, asif. I’m happy for those who want to be close to him and actually do get to do that. But, I’m very sure that I would faint if I came any closer than three feet away from him. So, I never try for the M&G’s. I was about 10 feet from him in New Orleans and wanted to get closer to him—but never wanted to get “hugging” close to him.

So a guy at work asked me about my yellow/black striped nail. Told him about Adam (he knew of him & liked him but HATED his first album)…took out my cd from my bag and asked him if he’d like it. He said no…I’ll go home and download the album.
To make a long story short he said “I WILL NEVER PAY A DIME FOR MUSIC. I ALWAYS DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE AND ALWAYS WILL”. It was useless to even try to get through to this dolt. But I still think this is the number one problem. Illegal downloading. And it will get worse. Good luck to all the wonderful artists and see you on tour because that’s the only place you’ll see the money.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that he didn’t smell like a blueberry – he smelled like a hot man! 
I have two good Adam stories to share! First, I invited a relatively new friend to my daughter’s graduation party last Friday – we’ve known each other for almost a year. Well, at one point during the afternoon my nephew (the special needs nephew who LOVES Adam and went with me to see Adam at Winstar Casino) decided to tell her that his Aunt (me) was “obsessed with Adam Lambert”! I was embarrassed, to say the least … I mean, the comment was quite a departure from the topic of conversation. But before I could offer any sort of explanation, she looked at me and screamed “You’re a Glambert TOO??!!” Well, then we both proceeded to squee and flail, and I drug some of my more prized treasures out of my Adamphernalia Box to show
off toher. I asked her if she’d bought Trespassing yet – she had not (not as good a fan as us, huh?) so I gifted a copy to her. She texted later that evening and said she absolutely loved it!Next Adam story: Went with my youngest son to watch his girlfriend in a very large cheer competition at Great Wolf Lodge this morning. Of course, the morning was full of great music to cheer and dance to, and they played both IIHY and WWFM! I couldn’t believe it! And, I noticed many of the girls singing WWFM word for word!
I texted this to nkd and she said “They need to get the new CD!”
