But I really need those extra 5 days! Really!

  2. Ron says:

Oh, geez … Sorry, I was never good at math! (Sounds like someone else I know) Wink

Just wanted to drop in to say hi. School year coming to a close and things are craaaazy! Did see Sasha on SYTYCD with her sis and they were fantastic! The promo for next week shows Sasha’s sister, Natalia, being taken away in an ambulance and Sasha in tears. Both girls are so talented. Speaking of talent, went to the Glee concert last weekend. Great show and worth every penny!

Love reading the banter back and forth between all of you peeps. Love for Adam, in every way, just abounds here! So fun.

  4. nkd says:

You’re just excited to see everyone Ron. I am too!

  5. nkd says:

Hi tchrsd! It’s good to see you again. The end of year gets crazy and busy, huh? School ends tomorrow at most schools around here.

  6. Ron says:

45 days or 55 days. I find as I grow past my “29 years” that time passes within a blink of an eye. Next time we turn around, so to speak, we’ll be there! Everything goes by so quickly these days.

Remember when we were children and there were, let’s say, 12 days that we had to wait for Christmas morning? It seemed like an eternity and I wondered how I would live through it. Smile

  7. nkd says:

We will see everyone in however many days (55), and it does pass so quickly!

I need to go to sleep. So goodnight!
Do we sleep in the eyebrows? It’s good that they are thick and comfy!

  8. Ron says:

    Good night nkd and Kradamour!

I have a knack for putting people to sleep! Frown

    LOL

  9. nkd says:

Not at all Ron. It’s the getting up early and working that put me to sleep!
    Good night Ron! Smile

  10. LolaGlamb says:

Hi tchrsd. School for me ended last week, so I’m in recovery. Also in recovery from all of the end of the year activities that involved food! Sheesh! Someone staple my mouth shut, please!

Loved SYTYCD. Watched last nights this afternoon, then watched tonight. OF course, loved Sasha, but didn’t think it showed her off enough. I really liked that girl, China. She was incredible. But so many were. Gonna be stiff competition this year.

I hope that wasn’t Natalia in that ambulance.

  11. HK fan says:

Love the idea of Cher as a judge on Idol, haven’t thought about it before, but now its been said it makes perfect sense. Who can get the message to Nigel???
Someone on 24/7 has put a tweet from teamxtina saying the duet is true! I tried to find it on twitter, but didn’t get very far.

  12. HK fan says:

OK, I did find the tweet from teamxtina, but now Sia has sent out a tweet saying she is working with both of them but they are not working together….but maybe if they both see all the positive feedback from fans they might decide its a good idea after all!

Thanks peeps who love my new avi .. YOGA ADAM.
I signed off at midnight (my time) last night so I didn’t see your comments.

I cropped my avi from muddydun’s chibi Adam.

Good morning asif…thanks for the twit pics! Love Sauli that he loves animals, exercise, cake!

nkd…know you’re not around, but I like S&M by Rhianna too! I really like most of her music. I have to separate that from her personal life and her videos.

Waiting to leave the house..but am gonna watch New Kids on the Block and Back Steet Boys on NBC. I love them too!

  16. asifclueless says:

    Morning luval!

    Have a great day!! Grin

  17. CODYSMOM says:

luval,I saw him in Louisville in July last year.We waited by the buses to see him,but when he got to me I did’nt have anything for him to sign.He just looked at me and smiled. My son said he could of signed my ticket, but I never thought of that, but you are right, his eye’s are beautiful but his smile is what I remember the most about that night.

  18. Oksana2000 says:

    Good morning!
    From 24/7.

Sauli has called the radio station he works for yesterday and said that he’s still in London (and that he doesn’t know how long he’ll be there).

One can’t be too hasty when selecting seeds. Papa Koskinen needs the best stuff for his orchard. Smile

  19. Kradamour says:

Remember when we were children and there were, let’s say, 12 days that we had to wait for Christmas morning? It seemed like an eternity and I wondered how I would live through it.

Well of course, Ron. When you are ten years old, 12 days was a much bigger percentage of your experienced life than it is when you are 29.
( .3% vs. .1% ) And for someone older than 29, whomever they might be, the percentage drop would be even more dramatic.

Do we sleep in the eyebrows? It’s good that they are thick and comfy!

    nekkid, I love you!

  20. Kradamour says:

    Random nosy-none-of-my-business-thought.
Wonder how much Sauli earned for winning BB?
I really want him to be able to maintain financial independence from Adam while they sort out their long-term prospects. He seems to usually be earning money for doing various things, but I hope it is enough for air fares, etc.
Financial issues can be an influence on even the strongest relationships.

  21. Oksana2000 says:

kradamour, when I was a kid, I would swear that time gap between Xmases was at least 2 year long.
And now it’s like this. White/Green/White/Green/White/Green/White/Green..
    Time flies….. Frown

I know from interviews, that Sauli’s father is making pretty good money. I don’t remember what kind of business, tho. He might help Sauli with future enterprises. I think that Sauli is trying to find his niche, remember, that he is still quite young. And he seems to be ambitious. Let’s remember that if Adam wouldn’t go on AI, he would still be making just enough money pay his rent for a tiny studio.
You might be surprised how many free flights one can get from Frequent Flier miles. My Amex miles bought me 4 overseas flights.

  23. dflowers says:

Good morning! I just caught up reading the thread so this is a little late.

Offhand, I can’t think of any male/male collaborations either. I’m sure they must be out there, but my mind doesn’t seem to be going in that direction. I’ll probably be up all night now trying to come up with a duo — lol. However, there seems to be plenty of female/female collaborations as well as female/male.

I thought I read somewhere that David Gedda wanted to work with Adam. He lives in London so maybe that’s happening right now over there.

asifcluless Thanks for the pics. I guess speedos are the thing in Finland! ;o)

  24. Kradamour says:

I guess speedos are the thing in Finland! ;o)

banana slings speedos, unfortunately, seem to be the thing in Europe generally. Let’s just say that it is not a good look on everyone…

Kradamour, I respectfully disagree with you.
Maybe because I’m european and I’m used to it. Knee lenght trunks that I see on the beach here are as bad. The best compromise between the two are swimming shorts. Not too tight, no too long. JMO.

  26. nkd says:

    kradamour, I love you, too!

luval, please, join me in the shallow end!

    David Gedda…hmmm!
What is happening in London? No tweets from our boy.

ITA. But they are too rare.
I live in a beachy place, Oksana. I have come to believe that all public places (stores, restaurants) near the beach should be equipped with full-length mirrors on the entrance doors. It could make a difference. I have to believe that these peeps have no idea how awful they look.

  28. Kradamour says:

David Guetta is French, BTW. Smile

  29. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

Wow, I’ve just been puttering around the house, doing a little housework and listening to highlights of last night’s NBA game on ESPN – YEA MAVS!!! But during the commercial break, I got such a nice surprise: A 30-second “It Gets Better” commercial, featuring everyone from Ann Hathaway, to Lady Gaga, to Woody from Toy Story (unfortunately, no BB Frown) It was absolutely beautiful, sponsored by Google. And on ESPN, no less. That makes me so happy.

Kradamour, you are not talking about men, right? Mirror would not help them.

I hope that this link will work.

  31. Oksana2000 says:

TWH, was it the same commercial that we saw before? (by Google Chrome)

  32. milwlovesadam says:

All this Adam and Christina talk. I just have a feeling it’s Adam Levine. They will be live this week and most likely it’s not our boy.

Debbie Downer. Have a day off today, ‘cuz I worked the Holiday, home like Texas, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. How is it that one son comes home from college, and my grocery bill tripled, my laundry pile is never-ending and I have ten times the dust bunnies?

Oh well. Gonna put on my DVD and clean. That should rev me up enough to keep me going. Except for Soaked, must sit for that one. Ha. Every time. It still just gets me. Adam and Muse are a match made in heaven.

Kradamour, you don’t have to like the new Gaga just because I do. But, if you give it a chance, the Hair song is incredible. IMHO.

  33. milwlovesadam says:

Oksana Smile cute, and oh so true.

Alright. Look out dust bunnies, you’ve met your match!

  34. luval says:

Am I the only one who keeps going back to the Moscow thread music? Had breakfast with a giflfriend I hadn’t seen in a while and was discussing my Adam adventures. Then showed her adam jr on my iPhone and all she said was “is he a vampire”? Am gonna send her Come To Me Bend to Me when I get home.

  35. Kradamour says:

Kradamour, you are not talking about men, right? Mirror would not help them.

Oh, right. Forgot that, Oksana. Rolls Eyes

mils, when each of my boys turned ten, I took him to the washing machine and we had a lesson. I emphasized that now he was old enough to be trusted to use my valuable washing machine and dryer, and that it was a rite of passage and I was so proud of him! and that was the end of doing laundry for that son. By the time they figured out that they had been bamboozled, they were used to doing their own laundry. Both of them are amazing at stain removal and younger son is meticulous about ironing his shirts.
Husband does his own laundry (I never took it over when we were married), but most of his clothes get sent out, suits and dress shirts. He just does his casual clothes.
They do their own towels, too.
I do the house laundry: table cloths, napkins, dish towels.
It’s probably too late for you to set up this system but might be worth a try!

  36. Kradamour says:

luval, I def keep listening to the Moscow music, that tab is open on my computer and I click on a vid whenever I sit down here.
Someone posted (maybe you?) that you loved the muscular sound to his voice there, ITA.
Yup, CTMBTM is about as far from Vampire music as you can get. And he was so young when he sang that! We are so fricking fortunate that peeps kept those vids from pre-pre-Idol and posted them to share with us. I hope they know how grateful Adam’s fans are for the “historical” videos.

  37. Reese says:

Am I the only one who keeps going back to the Moscow thread music?

No, you’re not! Call me crazy but Adam seems a bit different to me. Since he is so happy with Sauli, and seems to be more “settled” into his fame, he comes across more confident and care-free than ever. It’s made him even more sexy and sultry than ever before (IMO). All I know is I’m pretty damn mesmerized by these latest performances in Moscow. Like I said, maybe I’m crazy, or maybe I’m just seeing him in a much different light. Either way is a WIN for me.

  38. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

Oksana – yes, it was Google Chrome. Guess it’s been out awhile, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it.

We did have a major meeting with the Clear Channel folks yesterday, so it would make sense that some station personnel are tweeting about certain things.

Am I the only one who keeps going back to the Moscow thread music?

    No! Definitely not.
luval and Reese, I’m with you.
I went back to watch the good quality videos of this Moscow concert.

Love, love, love everything. The vocals were superior, the banter was fluid .. not canned, the clothes were fabulous & suited for a Rock Star. The moves and dances were sensual and sexy, the energy was so dynamic. All the band members did a spectacular job. Nothing was cheesy. I like it when they rock it out.
It’s so different from other concerts.

Of course I love the FS, GNT, KFEST, and 8Ball (zebra pants) too. Love all of them. But the Maxidrom is so exceptional.

Hope that the one in QC is like this one.

    Dear Adam,

I know that you’re busy working on your 2nd album. We’re so grateful and awaiting for it patiently. We know that it will be fantastic.

I’m missing you and your tweets. You’re so quiet now.

Sasha is trying out for SYTYCD.
Your fans are puzzled, confused and distressed about the rumours of you doing duets with Xtina.

So PLEASE, stop counting those freaking freckles for a minute and tweet to poor Sasha and your BSC fans.

    Thanks!!!
    Love you, Doll. Grin

  46. Kradamour says:

    Did anyone post this? (Probably.)
If not, it is a wonderful little piece with Sasha and her sister Natalya from the beginning of SYTYCD.

Yellowcard is playing down the street in a couple of weeks. Is Longineu still playing with them? Might go.

  49. nkd says:

Thank you kradamour for posting that vid of Sasha and Natalia. They were great, and so cute! Loved it!
