    Kradamour, AL and Ewflyer-
Thanks for all your help with the Ste agathe website situation. I knew some of you here could solve or at least help with the problem I’d been encountering!

  2. adamized says:

Morning everyone! Don’t know about all of you but I am getting very hopeful that we may hear a preview of Adam’s single at the Ste Agathe concert. I may have to relearn how to type with my fingers crossed!

dcglam I have all my ticket stubs (some with autographs of band members) stored in the pocket under my jewelry mirror.

Though I attended and loved the Baltimore concert, I was really sorry that I passed up going to DC where it was a much more adult venue and much more “lively” concert. Never again!!!!

Kradamour, please sign me up for dinner.

Thanks and have a great day everyone.

  3. Kradamour says:

I will keep the list near the bottom of page 28 updated with dinner reservations.
After a few pages I’ll copy and paste it as a new post.

I am kicking myself for not going to Baltimore and Washington, but I didn’t know anyone to go with me and I thought Norfolk would be enough. I mean, who would need to go to more than one concert in the same tour? Rolls Eyes

  4. Ceddies says:

Yes for me on the dinner. Outta here for now.

  5. Ron says:

    Good Morning,

I’ve always been this way: ONE drink and what ever appetite I may have had disappears. I planned to spend most of the evening on the terrace. But, if you’re all going to eventually leave me out there by myself, I’ll want to join you in the dining room. Smile

YES for me for dinner, please.

That DC concert was pretty great overall eywflyer. And I wasn’t even there in person!! lol

    Hey cutie…..
If it wasn’t for you, I probably wouldn’t have been there either! Wink

And you’re right — It was an unbelievable concert all around.

  7. asifclueless says:

I believe Baltimore tomorrow, then we’ll be back here in DC!! I still have my ticket stub on the mirror part of my dresser.

dcglam .. I’m so jealous of you. ticket stub on the mirror!!!

    cher… I wasn’t there in person either.
But I was in agony. Last year I was in DC the same time as BB and he had a concert here. I flew so many thousand miles to be here but didn’t get to see him. So close but too far.
The mother nature seemed to understand me. While I was having late lunch, the sky turned cloudy and dark. And then it rained very hard. (Adam’s storm)
BB mentioned at the concert that it was hot, humid and sticky. Is it right … dcglam?
The concert turned epic with the kick of the gaurd.

  8. dcglam says:

It was 100 degrees that day with a humdity of no less than 75% – ugh!
Yes, I remember that it stormed later that afternoon because we lost power here at my house just when I was glamming up for the show — horrible timing!!! Frown

About that epic kick of the guard…..
I still remember Adam’s infamous line — “Take my picture, b*tch!” LOL

  9. dcglam says:

Now you have (at least) adamized and me, kradamour! Wink

I thought Norfolk would be enough. I mean, who would need to go to more than one concert in the same tour?

I was under the exact same mindset, Kradamour. Part of the issue with me was that it was tough enough just getting two tickets (my daughter went with me) for the DC show. Thank goodness, I have a fairy god”friend” by the name of cher. I didn’t even attempt Baltimore, which now I am kicking myself for. Now I am so much smarter. Hey, I know all about Stubhub!! Wink

This seems like a good time to post that I am really, really grateful for this site (and formerly the mj site) and everyone here. The last tour was like a dress rehearsal, now we know what to do, how to do it, and peeps to enable us go with us!

  11. TLKC says:

I will be attending the dinner also. Thanks so
Much for adding me to the list

  12. milkywayfairy says:

Hey, everyone, include me for dinner at Watel, too. Many thanks.

  13. Northern Spirit says:

Hi Kradamour, I’ll be attending the dinner on the 28th at the Watel. Thanks for organizing it. 5pm?

  14. kdd43 says:

Kradamour please include my name for the Ste Agathe dinner as well as DeeWaalace who will be signing in later tonight.

  15. luval says:

Hey Ron…I’ll be out on the terrace with you and the music. Of course I can also bring the music to dinner too!

  16. Ron says:

YOU and the night and the music … LOL

    Sounds good to me, luval!

  17. riskylady says:

Hey, Ron and luval, I would have happily stayed on the terrace with drinks enjoying music too, but as part of cher‘s entourage, MUST.GO.TO.DINNER.WITH.LEADER. So, kradam, please asterisk me and thanks for gathering the info. (The terrace would still be open after dinner, right?????)

  18. luval says:

Ron,by the way I got my iPhone/international situation worked out. It will be 19 cents a day and 59 cents a minute. I won’t be able to use Internet or e-mail unless I pay huge roaming charges. But that’s ok. It’s the phone that’s most important.

Eta: terrace could be before or after dinner, right?

  19. Ron says:

Hi risklady!! I’m so looking forward to meeting you! Without being sure, I’m nonetheless sure the terrace will be accessable all evening. Smile

luval – So glad you have the phone straighened out! I want to arrange a specific time to call you, say 2:00pm maybe, to see where you are and how close we are to one another on July 28th when we’re on the road.

BTW: I’m meeting TLKC, milkywayfairy, kdd43 and NS for dinner tonight. Also, DeeWaalace whom kdd43 mentioned earlier. You know all of them as they were at my place before Adam’s birthday party. Wish you were here!

It’s going to be a FUN evening capped off with the premiere of “True Blood”. YAY! Smile

  20. Kradamour says:

Wow, looks like a BIG dinner table!
Here are the only peeps I haven’t heard from yet:

    Nekkid and daughter Calli
    floridagirl
    Ake
    cgesq and guest
    (tentative) Calgary

  21. retjenny says:

    Hi Everyone!

I just had to drop in and say how jealo…..no, I can’t say that – how happy I am for everyone going to Ste Agathe. I would love to be joining you but my left knee says NO. It is waiting for replacement and refuses to do much of anything until then. I should just leave it home, but I guess that wouldn’t work.

The good part is, all of you will keep posting from there (right?) and sending videos, etc.

It is a beautiful day here in So. Calif. today and I am envisioning BB and his friends frolicking around his pool. I kind of think I know what area his house is in. If I spent enought time I think I could locate it on Google Earth but then they would have to kill me so I think I will just leave it to my imagnation.

  22. Suz526 says:

Hi Kradamour – count me in! I’m pretty sure tchrsd is planning to attend, too Smile

  23. riskylady says:

Ron, me too! And meeting lots of new folks plus catching up with a few I haven’t seen in a while.

  24. AL says:

AL, thanks for all of the info re Ste. Agathe.

    My pleasure eywflyer!

I got an e-mail back from info @ Ste Agathe en Feux and they have forwarded my e-mail to the company that looks after their website. Keeping checking the festival website and if someone manages to get access again, let everyone else know!

Looks like you guys will have a fun 2-day Adam fest. Wish I could be there but shit life happens to be in the way. Frown
But I’m Smile for everyone going!!!! Maybe Adam can come back to Vancouver area and perform. We promise not to riot this time! Wink

  25. Ron says:

Hi AL! Good to see you!

Please end the mystery … well, for me at least.

What is your Avatar?!?? I’ve been guessing that it’s you wearing a strange beanie-type looking cap, the nose of a dog or Adam’s Ring of Fire. Smile

Did I get it right? Any of them? LOL

  26. AL says:

    nvm

  27. AL says:

    What is your Avatar?!??

Well, sorry WRong, it’s actually a close-up of the center of an orange poppy from our garden.
    Poppy close-up
It had been such a long winter, I decided to switch from the toaster oven to the latest that nature offered to us.

  28. asifclueless says:

OOOOH … ALL Saints peeps .. I’m not gonna lie. I’m so green with jealo of you guys.

Today I was casually asking my DH if he was interested in going to a music festival in QC, Canada. “There is Kenny Rogers, too.” (He likes country music.)

    Nope!!! Not in Canada. Frown

We are moving on to the midwest this Tuesday.
Oh, I wish Adam added a concert in the midwest. That!!! I may get to go.

Last year I saw him at Midland Theatre in KC, on July 15th. The only GNT I went.

    Please universe.

Krads and mils …Could you cross your whatiss to make it happen for me?
It worked for the QC one. Grin

    Poppy close-up

That looks like something that’s going to attack the Star Ship Enterprise!

    It’s nice, though. Smile

  30. Ceddies says:

Ron, I’m glad you asked about AL‘s avatar. I looked and looked and finally decided he was trying to tempt us with some kind of fancy confection. It is a nice pic.

  31. Ron says:

Hi Ceddies!! 32 more days! It seems like only yesterday that I posted there were 84 more days to go until Quebec. I have to know that at this point in my life I’ll never come to terms with time. It goes by so quickly! So, the next time I turn around, I’ll be seeing you on the terrace. What a happy thought!

Leaving soon to meet the Fab Five for dinner. See you later.

  32. cwm says:

Sigh. So jealous. Hard to read about all of these exciting plans taking shape, knowing that I’m gonna miss out on the fun. BUT of course very happy for you all. Smile

So who’s going to be left behind? Let’s see, there’s AL, turquoisewaters, adamland, retjenny, asifclueless, mils, dcglam, and me. Are we the only ones here who aren’t going to Quebec? Who have I forgotten?

Those of us NOT going need to start making special plans for what fun things we’re going to do together online that night or something!

AND we west coasters need to start putting wishes out to the universe and cross our fingers, toes, and whatsits for a west coast concert. Smile

  33. HK fan says:

    cwm,
I’m not going either, so I’ll just have to sit here and sulk with you guys, whilst tapping my keyboard impatiently waiting for updates from the concert! As much as I love Adam, I hate (as in petrified) of flying, so a 15 hour flight does seem a bit excessive for a concert, not to mention the cost! still as the time gets closer I’ll probably wish I’d done it….

  34. dcglam says:

Those of us NOT going need to start making special plans for what fun things we’re going to do together online that night or something!

I’m down for that, cwm! We have plans to spend the latter part of July in Boston visiting my son. I’m hoping to have computer access during that time, though. Yes, I will be so looking forward to any morsels you lucky peeps will toss our way…… Wink

  35. cwm says:

Yes, HK fan — I’ll add you to the list! See, we get to create our own list too!! Wink

I’m thinking that those of us not going should have a virtual dark chocolate and wine party — chocolate ice cream, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate truffles, chocolate mousse, you name it. And some really good red wines that complement chocolate perfectly. Out by the pool, which will be plenty shallow and plenty deep too, with lots of floaties that can hold our wine glasses and chocolate treats. While we watch here for Adam treats from Quebec. Whataya think? Wink

  36. Kradamour says:

Hard to read about all of these exciting plans taking shape, knowing that I’m gonna miss out on the fun.

    NOT.
cwm, you know that we will do everything possible to include those of you back home. Is it the same as being there? No. But you definitely won’t “miss out” completely. When I was in Paris I typed little recaps after the show until about 3 am Paris time, trying to recall every little bit of the performance and share it while y’all waited for vids, and other peeps who were there chimed in too. When I went back and read the posts from all of us who were there, it was amazing how well I think we nailed the experience.
Still, with only one performance in this hemisphere this year, it is a high stakes concert. I really wish that everyone could go. Heck, I wish that he would perform in everyone’s home town and that we’d all have front row center tickets. If wishes were horses then beggars would ride, I guess. But I think that all of us who are going are very cognizant of our tremendous good fortune, and will do everything we can to bring those at home into the experience.

Having said that, I might not be able to go, either. My mother has fallen again and broken the other hip before the left thigh was fully healed. So I might be one of the peeps hanging on the internet that night, playing Adam Trivia while we wait for vids and recaps. If so, I promise to be really happy for everyone who is able to go. Smile

ETA: cwm, wow. The party sounds great! Be sure to have some bottles of Banfi Rosa Regalo, the absolute best wine to have with chocolate! If I am here I will be sure to bring a few bottles to share! Smile

  37. dcglam says:

Leaving soon to meet the Fab Five for dinner. See you later.

Wow, Ron! I’m sure you already know how fortunate you are to have a group of everyday real life friends whom you can hang out with who are also Adam fans. Most of my friends have no clue who Adam is, other than what I have told them. I’m going to share a recent story, but I need to prerequisite it with the fact that I still have IIHY as my ringtone for my cell phone.

I was out to lunch with a friend of mine when my cell phone went off. She questioned the tune. I further elaborated with the name of the tune AND the artist. Her response was actually too much for words. She said…. “Is that the guy with the tongue?” OMG!!!
Although I did lose my appetite for lunch, I did manage to take away some positives from the wacko situation. First of all, the word “gay” was not mentioned. Secondly, she was “somewhat” familiar with Adam — more than I can say about the others.
Anyway, Ron — So happy for you!! Smile

  38. cwm says:

cwm, you know that we will do everything possible to include those of you back home. Is it the same as being there? No. But you definitely won’t “miss out” completely. …

Oh kradamour, I know I know!! I’m very happy for and appreciative of all of you who are going, who I know are going to bring to the rest of us all of the details with great and loving care! For that I am very very grateful, and we will vicariously have a wonderful time through the eyes and ears and hearts and cameras of those of you who are there! Smile

I was just having a moment of feeling sorry for myself. Wink And I would love to be able to meet so many of you in person.

Smile

OH NO! Say it’s not so! I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s new injury. That must be such a discouraging setback for her, and for you too. I do so hope that you are still able to go. After all, you’re the one who visualized this concert into reality!

  39. dcglam says:

Kradamour…. I am so sorry to hear about your mom’s recent fall. This has been such a tough time for you and your family. Please know that our many well wishes are going your way. Is there a way we can help?

  40. turquoisewaters says:

kradamour, I am so upset for you right now. Life can be such a b#%$@. I hope you can still go. And obviously all the best for your mom.
I’ll be hanging out here on the home front with excellent company, and I promised myself I will not be whining.
Can’t wait for that single in August. I wonder if it will be downtempo or uptempo.

  41. dflowers says:

    Just caught up –

asifclueless Yes the eyes. SOOO mesmerizing

CWM I will not be going to Quebec either but I will be having a performance of my play that night so i won’t be home moping. I WILL get on this site as soon as I get home to check out videos. HEAR THAT PEEPS?! WE NEED LOTS AND LOT OF VIDEOS!!!

  42. dflowers says:

Kradamour – sending good thoughts your way for your mom.

  43. asifclueless says:

Sounds like a great party … cwm. I’m sure I’ll be at the shallow pool .. entertaining everybody.

krads … sorry about your mom. Hope everything is fine by the time of the concert and then you get to go.

  44. retjenny says:

Kradamour, I am so sorry to hear about your mom Frown. You are in the Oreo stage of life. Still have kids to worry about on one side and parent(s) on the other. At times you feel like you are smashed in the middle. You mom & your kids are so fortunate to have such a loving & caring caretaker.

  45. Ron says:

Dear Kradamour, just got home from dinner. If only I could reach through this monitor and put my arms around you. I can’t tell you how sorry I am to learn about your mother because there are no words to express how I feel.

If having all of my love, best wishes and good thoughts matter … you’ve got them.

All my best to you and your Mom!

  46. ultimathule says:

I’m sure Ron said it for all of us, Kradamour. Far apart in distance for me, but not in thoughts. Love to you and your mom.

  47. milwlovesadam says:

Krads, my best to your mom. I’ve been through hell and back myself the last couple of years with my parents, those of you whom I’ve talked with privately at the fansite know this. The joy and humor of all of our fandom has been such a help. I just hope that all of our virtual hugs are a help to you too.

A virtual chocolate and wine partay for those of us not going to the concert, not hearing his new single, not seeing what kind of pants, bulges, outfit he wears??

I suppose we can numb our agony with chocolate and wine. Sure. We can try.
    {{{ kicking my feet like a two year old }}}

  48. milwlovesadam says:

BTW: True Blood did not disappoint tonight. Love that show. It is just the right amount of sick, and just enough twisted. IMHO.

  49. Kradamour says:

Just popped back in for a minute before bed…it’s been a long day with my mom and there is always a smile here! and found such lovely expressions of sympathy and encouragement. Thank you and thank you again…

Is there a way we can help?

You all just did, dcglam. Smile
There is still a month before the concert…a month to cheer my mother and get her to an emotional place where I can leave for a while, as well as physical therapy and healing. Hard work ahead for us both, but I’m going to stay optimistic.
Everyone’s kind words definitely helped tonight.
    G’nite, peeps! Sweet Adam dreams!

  50. cher says:

Hi asifclueless, at least you got to see him live at one concert. It’s amazing to me even now that I went to multiple concerts (good thing my hubby doesn’t read blogs Smile ) He just thinks now I’m going to Canada to just visit my mom and sisters in Toronto. Heh. As I’ve said before, it’s on a need to know basis and he doesn’t need to know…yet. Or at all. I did say I was going to Montreal and Quebec as well. He thinks they’re just up the road from Toronto. Smile Told him riskylady was travelling with me. She and her hubby came by to visit and she seems so harmless and sweet in person. The perfect grandma. How little he knows…. hahaha. I hope it’s not too cold. I don’t really have warm clothes. Frown Shall I borrow my friend’s leather jacket again like I did for LA in December? Saved my life. Frown
