I remember watching Brian Justin Crum on America’s Got Talent. He came in fourth. He never caught on with the voting public IMO. His voice was a little screechy & didn’t have much of a connection with the audience. People compared him with Adam at that time but no way in hell was he even close!
You said that right luval. People were calling me, saying he was better than Adam. I was like no way, then you haven’t really heard Adam.
I was turned off by Brian’s tone, and his lack of connecting emotionally. It was smoke and mirrors to me. Kind of pissed me off, because there is no one like Adam, who could create endless challenging vocals with ease.

I kinda liked BJC on AGT last year, until a certain point. I never liked comparisons to Adam, and his voice was ok, again. To a certain point.
Whenever he tried to “go there “, he fell flat, his voice just doesn’t have the richness, the power, the range, a truly great voice needs to be called great. He’s handsome, he had a good wardrobe, but, 4th place was as far as he could go.
I do wonder if Adam helped him, coached him, like he did Allison on the Voice.
