Hi ALL gang – well I’m finally back from my amazing super-fun week-long west coast adventure! Saw four shows – Hollywood Bowl 1 and 2, San Jose, and Seattle.
OH.MY.GOD. The show is UNBELIEVABLE! It is soooooo amazing phenomenal fabulous fantastic incredible (pick your superlative)! And the audiences have LOVED it – San Jose and Seattle in particular were NUTS!!
I saw some debbie downer stuff on the June thread about what the show is “missing”. All I can say is, just wait til you fricken see it! Be present in the moment of what IS, and you’ll be so gobsmacked by the actual amazingness unfolding in front of you that you won’t be concerned with what is “different” or “missing”. It is paced so perfectly, staged so beautifully, and executed so flawlessly and joyfully, it will blow your mind. The new additions to the setlist and staging are great. Adam is front and center, and he is busting out vocally all over the place. It’s obvious that he is having an absolute ball on stage, as are Brian and Roger, and Adam is taking the whole audience gleefully on the ride with him. It’s a ton of fun and a real emotional journey. It’s different from the last tour, yes. But it has to be be different – they can’t do the same show/staging/theme/setlist again. And like the last tour, this show is very, very, VERY GOOD!! Can you tell I love it??
I’m excited for those of you who haven’t seen it yet! You’re in for a real treat!!
So many of us from ALL had so much fun together in LA and San Jose. I’ll write re-caps for the shows and our ALL adventures and post them on the concert threads.
As for the red hair, I’m good with it. It works very well on stage. It’s striking and fun and goes really well with the color theme. And underscores that Adam doesn’t give two fux what we think about it! Gawd I love him!

I can’t wait for these shows. For the glory and the spectacle of it. There’s nothing like the energy rush of a QAL show. And that voice wrapping around you, gah.

luval I definitely think Two Faux is aimed at fans who constantly criticize him about his clothes, hair, boyfriends, music, and anything else they can think of. Not people who post on blogs I am talking about those criticizing him on his twitter, Instagram, and even to his face.
I do think he has gone through a period of distancing himself from his fans, but when this tour started he is immersing himself in fan love again.

Yes, wait til you friken see this concert! It’s just such a thrill ride!
And I do think some new arrangements, STL, BoRhap, and new songs It’s Late and the beautiful mind boggling SYW showcase Adam’s voice so well. But he goes “ape shit” throughout, anyway! (Have to say, went to listen to originals of It’s Late and SYW. Def underwhelmed!)
Only saw LA1 and 2 so far. LA1 was great, but there were some production difficulties and Adam seemed to have sound issues. But I think this was evident to those of us who watch everything, not the majority. LA2 was AMAZING! And per the streams and scopes so far, just getting better and better! They seem so happy, too!
LOVED LA, so fun to see the guys again!
