Having wrapped up a short 15-city Festival tour with Queen, Adam isn’t taking much time off. He’s already in Australia filming Season 8 (naturally) of the X-Factor there for broadcast later in the fall. It seems that some episodes are pre-taped in June/July with the live shows starting at the end of September (based on last year’s schedule). That timing works out perfectly as Q+AL can fit in a few Asian shows and Adam can record some new music before he is tied up with the live shows. And we thought that it would be a quiet summer!

He didn’t get me at “Mama .. Just killed a man ..” like the other people. I was new to American Idol then and I didn’t have a horse in the race. Couldn’t vote from overseas. But loved the theatre kid.

He was at the RuPaul show last week after the taping of XFactor on Friday the 1st. Maybe he hung out in Oz until yesterday doing more stuff, because Leah was with him, and my guess he took a flight home yesterday with her.
asif, LOL, I just meant he looks too good all over to have any body issues and for our peace of mind. I am pleased though he didn’t cave and show more in the WTTS video – didn’t fall into that trap that Bieber, Levine, et al have. Less is sexier, keeps people wondering and wanting more. IMHO.

This is pretty deep stuff! The writer took some liberties, and I felt condescending at times. Some of this stuff, I have never heard before.

asifclueless if you were that sad when Adam lost, his backstage speech will have an extra effect… To me it felt like a balm to heal wounds. And I admired how he seems “in control” of the situation and how cleverly and diplomatically he answered the gay question. He did not want to steal the thunder from the winner.

Hello everyone on this beautiful, sunny, summer day. The kind of day that reminds you that there are many things still of beauty, kindness and simplicity in the world.
May I please take a moment to express my gratitude once again for this place of non-judgement and acceptance?
The fact that so many of us have met in real life now, and genuinely get along, and respect each other and our differences, is very telling of this fandom.
Now, before I get back to my gardening, a few random thoughts:
I have been a lurker more often than not lately. I’m still feeling “it”, but somewhat less the last couple of months. I don’t know why. ((( Actually, in part, I do know why. It has nothing to do with Adam or his extreme talent and gifts. Maybe I’ll share it offline with some of you.))) I’m glad that axxxel said it first!!
The “work ” to be done on his house was in an interview, from the UK, I believe. He talked about “we” are working on landscaping, and we talked about who the “we” could be.
I love love love WTTS. Loved it on Idol, loved it on TOH tour, love it still. Wouldn’t it be unreal if it were used for the Olympics?
Love the XFactor stuff we have seen already, and look forward to more.
Interesting how AGT is using so much Queen music. Wouldn’t be surprised at all with a surprise Queen or Adam pop in.

Iggy so flirty and friendly with Adam during the auditions, but surely knows about the “issue” with Lovato. To me just proves that it’s still a cutthroat business, maybe hoping to throw him off-balance – she wants to win.
Even though Adam said there’s no bad blood, he was just being PC IMHO.
