Having wrapped up a short 15-city Festival tour with Queen, Adam isn’t taking much time off. He’s already in Australia filming Season 8 (naturally) of the X-Factor there for broadcast later in the fall. It seems that some episodes are pre-taped in June/July with the live shows starting at the end of September (based on last year’s schedule). That timing works out perfectly as Q+AL can fit in a few Asian shows and Adam can record some new music before he is tied up with the live shows. And we thought that it would be a quiet summer!

I agree with wanting, ‘The Original High’ to be the first single. It doesn’t make rational sense at all. The fact that Adam had the words, ‘Chasing The Original High’ tattooed on his collar bone, sort of lends itself to expect the namesake single to be released
I’m feeling sad that it never transpired. It could have been the perfect summer hit. But then, it would have needed to be played on the radio, and we all know that scenario.
There’s the special club of payola, smoozing, with cut throat deals, all done behind closed doors. A pitiful party of select elite players, calling all the shots.
I also feel there is pressure to release singles, that are written by certain songwriters & co writers as well.
riskylady, would do a better job discussing this subject. I always enjoy her take on the dealings of the ‘music industry’.

This video is one my favorite Adam videos because he is in it almost the entire time, and it is close up. We know he is a generous person, and in some videos he gives up his screen time to others. Methinks Adam heard his fans on this one. As for this fan, I love the song ALN, but disliked the vid for the reason that it wasn’t enough of him.

You Def could sub Adam for Alex, however. Ahem, I don’t believe any of us have ever actually SEEN the abs.
I mean, we’ve seen glimpses of lower abs during key concert dance moves, but then, he knows somehow, and by the next show, he’s wearing a cummerbund or undershirt, we’ve seen him sunbathing, we’ve seen a nip slip or two, but whole complete shirtless with abs, no.
Okay, there was that gym photo that broke the interwebz, but, he was leaning forward, no abs. No V.
