Having wrapped up a short 15-city Festival tour with Queen, Adam isn’t taking much time off. He’s already in Australia filming Season 8 (naturally) of the X-Factor there for broadcast later in the fall. It seems that some episodes are pre-taped in June/July with the live shows starting at the end of September (based on last year’s schedule). That timing works out perfectly as Q+AL can fit in a few Asian shows and Adam can record some new music before he is tied up with the live shows. And we thought that it would be a quiet summer!

Hi…No, we lived there in 1974 & 1975. My husband was attending instructional school, to become a Calibration Coordinator for The National Bureau of Standards. I quit work to move there, and we rented a town house for that duration. I was in my early twenties. Before children, so we went everywhere we could. So many important historical sites to see. We went somewhere every weekend. Didn’t matter how far, we just had a ball.
I reminisce about that time, especially since my husband’s passing. Memories, like the corners of my mind.
We lived in Portland, Oregon all our lives, but had opportunities to live elsewhere, because of my husbands schooling. Also lived in Huntsville Alabama for a year.
I enjoyed the East more, because the deep South with it’s heat, humidity, bugs and snakes, and tornadoes was quite challenging.
Also, there’s only so many grits, & hush puppies we could take. They even served a martini with grits!
That was back in 1977.

Adam’s potential Hits, far exceed in musicality, arrangements, and content. You would think with Max Martin’s stamp of being a ‘hit-maker’, it would be enough of a statement of importance.
The recording companies, only pushing certain artist’s in their stable’s, because it’s what radio wants to play.
‘Sleep Walker’, should have been a single, and if played enough a huge hit. It all started with Adam’s first album. So many singles, that could have been hits.
It’s a travesty that there’s this club of key players, that have power over the music that is played on the radio.
Adam is making strides slowly but surely, but it isn’t fair for the love a great song and in the world of music.
It’s quite apparent that the industry as a whole, knows full well of Adam’s work not being embraced, like it should.
With Adam’s constant cudos to other artist’s, it’s sad that they don’t always respond to him. It makes you think that their in on it too?

I like the lyrics. It’s the music that is not uplifting. You don’t feel it in your heart & body.
I guess I’m just disappointed, that they selected such an uninspiring song for such an important event.
‘Welcome to the Show,’ may be used in other areas though throughtout the Olympic events.
‘Time for Miracles,’ is goosebumps material. I know I’m biased.
I know they use, ‘Another One Bites the Dust’, for the volleyball events.
