A very exciting past month for Adam – and for ALL of us, as well. Events from Chatty Man to Live Aid to Fallon to GMA to Trailblazers – and the interviews so numerous they became hard to keep track of. In addition, more beautiful photos including the stunning FAULT magazine with a more “uncovered” Adam than we’re used to seeing. Then, all through the later part of the month the watching for the Adds on radio/Spotify/Shazam/VH1, etc., and the resultant confusion about what should be done to make it happen.

Congrats to Adam for The Original High debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart. He may not have been number one but the album is getting good reviews and promotion is going well. The single, Ghost Town, is slowly moving up the HAC, CHR and AC charts. To top it all off, though, was the gay marriage ruling which must have given Adam, considering all he’s been through and all he’s done for the cause, immense gratification and happiness.

And onto July…summer may be vacation time for most but to Adam it will be more TV and radio promotion with some special performances thrown in – Splashion, The Trevor Project – and more.

    Eh, probably not gonna get to Melbourne. The end of January I almost always have a commitment here at home. Couldn’t go to the O2 in London for same reason.

    I wonder if Adam deliberately chose smaller venues, which we know he enjoys. He’ll be doing stadiums with Queen, plus already did all those arenas.
    I think he’ll be testing the waters, too!
    I want every song live, and that mic cord, which hampers his dancing/strutting all over the stage, GONE!

    Agree with you about the cord! Although a couple of peeps at Morongo said it didn’t seem to be a problem for him you can tell he constantly has to think about where it is IMO. Doesn’t seem natural at least to my eyes.

    Oh I think this is a testing situation too. I really hope they sell out immediately.

    I’d be glad to vote on capitalfm’s sexiest pop star poll if I don’t keep getting “thank you, we have already counted your vote”. Can’t keep track of when I voted last. Once a day? Maybe I should write it down.

    Me, too, luval. It’s a once-a-day poll that tracks in 24-hour cycles. I usually vote and post in the morning. Sometimes I get up a bit earlier and the message pops up. Then I forget to go back an hour or so later.

    I wish the poll would re-start the voting cycle at midnight.

    Not surprised that Jason Derulo closed the concert. His song peaked at #1 and has been Top 10 for a long time. It’s better for Adam, actually, because his fans might have left. They have now seen Adam and cannot fail to be WOW’ed.

    IMHO, it’s not helpful to look at the daily charts (unless you are PattiHum and crew, who are evaluating all moves to the nth degree and we are all happy to have their projections.) Daily charts can flunctuate wildly. Also, they report on a “7-day rolling” basis, so the ADDS/spin increase will uptick gradually over the week.

    luval & riskylady– I’m arriving in Burma for a tour on 1/30/16, so the Australia shows would be doable for me. They are on the same side of the globe after all and the timing is right. But, as much as I love an Adam adventure, rescheduling flights and working out the logistics would be way too complicated. So I think I’ll pass on Australia too. I was at the first show for each of the 3 eras just like luval. Luval, I think we can give ourselves some credit for going to the GMA show which was a “preshow” for Era 4.
