A very exciting past month for Adam – and for ALL of us, as well. Events from Chatty Man to Live Aid to Fallon to GMA to Trailblazers – and the interviews so numerous they became hard to keep track of. In addition, more beautiful photos including the stunning FAULT magazine with a more “uncovered” Adam than we’re used to seeing. Then, all through the later part of the month the watching for the Adds on radio/Spotify/Shazam/VH1, etc., and the resultant confusion about what should be done to make it happen.

Congrats to Adam for The Original High debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart. He may not have been number one but the album is getting good reviews and promotion is going well. The single, Ghost Town, is slowly moving up the HAC, CHR and AC charts. To top it all off, though, was the gay marriage ruling which must have given Adam, considering all he’s been through and all he’s done for the cause, immense gratification and happiness.

And onto July…summer may be vacation time for most but to Adam it will be more TV and radio promotion with some special performances thrown in – Splashion, The Trevor Project – and more.

    Just checked out Jason Derulo’s Cheyenne on that screen capped chart posted by ulti. One spot below Ghost Town.

    JD’s new song got a leg up on the radio because his prior single went to #1. Radio knows that listeners like him. Everything we are doing for GT – streaming, requesting on radio surveys, voting on SNOL – will do as much for Adam’s second single as it is doing for GT. Big Smile

    My young cashier said today that she hears GT on the radio several times a day now so for Miami that’s awesome!!! I love Warner Bros. promo. Can u imagine what they could have done for Trespassing? Such a shame.

    Was thinking about that today, cher. This album could be promo’d for a couple of years. Whenever I listen to These Boys I think what retjenny posted…that it could be about TPTB, which of course would have been his last label.

    Trespassing was such a good album.

    Yes, asif, he saw the Adam fanaticism/fascination firsthand. Poor fellow went to the Meet and Greet only to find himself at the back of a very long line. Apparently lots of people took off work to go line up. Same thing for the concert venue. When he got there it was pretty crowded and when Adam was about to come on, the crowd surged toward the stage and guess who got shoved pretty far back. He said people followed/chased Adam the whole time and at the end, Adam seemed in a rush to leave. He left the stage, went straight toward the parking lot with lots of people chasing after him.
    Says he thinks he was rushing to catch a flight maybe. Said Adam will probably get free ads on itunes and other Apple freebies as part of his payment. He also said he took two shaky vids because people were jostling him and he was kinda far back but he really enjoyed the short performance.

    Well, that was just smoke and mirrors. Going to listen to the Morongo concert to cleanse my ear palate. But SNOL at least played GT twice, lots of name drops, a few words of chat so it’s promo. And Open House Party (Boston) also played it twice.

    I was talking to my 26 year old son in Seattle last night and he told me that GT is now in frequent rotation on the local radio stations he listens to. He said that he hears it as much as anything else. He likes GT a lot. He also has listened to the TOH album on Spotify and thinks it’s Adam’s best album. That’s good because I already bought him a copy of the CD and was planning to give it to him when I visit him in Seattle next week.

    The ladies on my office staff also told me that they are hearing GT a lot on the radio here in Maryland. They really like it too. That’s all good news for Adam!

    Did you hear how often he talks lately about the Las Vegas event & how that brought everything together (on The Talk last week).? Can’t forget our great trip there! We were so lucky to see the tour in it’s embryo stage. Smile

    Here’s the whole GT from the Apple event on youtube. He says “don’t give a fuck” in the song. Am sorta surprised but I guess that’s how young working adults talk these days.
