A very exciting past month for Adam – and for ALL of us, as well. Events from Chatty Man to Live Aid to Fallon to GMA to Trailblazers – and the interviews so numerous they became hard to keep track of. In addition, more beautiful photos including the stunning FAULT magazine with a more “uncovered” Adam than we’re used to seeing. Then, all through the later part of the month the watching for the Adds on radio/Spotify/Shazam/VH1, etc., and the resultant confusion about what should be done to make it happen.

Congrats to Adam for The Original High debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart. He may not have been number one but the album is getting good reviews and promotion is going well. The single, Ghost Town, is slowly moving up the HAC, CHR and AC charts. To top it all off, though, was the gay marriage ruling which must have given Adam, considering all he’s been through and all he’s done for the cause, immense gratification and happiness.

And onto July…summer may be vacation time for most but to Adam it will be more TV and radio promotion with some special performances thrown in – Splashion, The Trevor Project – and more.

    Just catching up before I start my day for real. I have to say that as much as I love Adam’s new music (I have TOH on repeat in my car), when he sang the WATC parody for James….That is the Voice that just pierces my heart and leaves me in a puddle of emotion on the floor. And his expressions and comic timing were just perfect. And I love all the Berting, especially by Sir Ian. I can imagine that he has a major crush on Adam. So cute.

    Woke up 20 minutes into the show. I liked the 50 show bit by Corden! And Adam singing the parody was perfection! His voice was stunning! Agree with what you said about WATC vs TOH, rs.

    I just don’t understand why his team can’t get him other shows like this where he can show his comedic talents.

    I liked James Corden as a host. Very funny.

    Luval…his name is James Corden, not Corben….i have his autobiography at home from a couple of years ago.
    loved the WATC parody, his voice on it….perfection. Wonder whose idea it was or who wrote it..maybe Corden. he co wrote Gavin and Stacy I think, one of the best things ever of British TV…well worth a google.
    And the GT was great too…just off to watch a btter version I think on youtube..

    HK FAN, I might just pick up his book. Am very interested to learn more about James Corden. Several peeps on twitter didn’t think he was funny (comments like the guest is funnier than the host), but I thought he was a hoot. You could tell he and Adam got along famously!

    I’ve just watched the opening sequence on the official channel luval….its basically a piss take so far of the way the chat shows have the big celebrations, very tongue in cheek….
    He’s actually done a lot of acting, my favourite is obviously Gavin and Stacy, but he was in The History Boys which is a great movie, Gullivers travels, played Paul Potts in the film about the Xfactor winning opera singer, was in iNTO THE woods last year.
    Now off to watch Adams bit againBig Smile

    LOVED LOVED LOVED the Late Late Show last night. James Corden’s OTT 50 episode celebration was so silly but very inspired in parts; well mainly the WATC parody Laugh Laugh

    Don’t know which was more funny: Ian Mckellen’s gorilla story or his major stanning of Adam. He’s a complete Glambert. I actually wondered if some fanning might happen. Ian was dancing to GT on that UK breakfast show and he is really into pop music. He’s been a big Kylie Minogue fan for years and also loves One Direction. Graham Norton implied that Ian actually invited himself to that show’s One Direction episode.

    WAC was amazing – who else would invest so much into a parody, if not our Adam?

    The appearance was a win from beginning to end. The best performance of GT so far. Adam couldn’t have looked better – the perfect #BadBoyNextDoor. He had a chance to show his charming and his funny side, too.

    Maybe Adam could help James celebrate his 100th episode (just in time for single #2?)

    There are differing views on the dancers but imho, the particular success of this performance lies in the fact that Adam is better when he moves to his own beat. Acting in synch with back-up dancers constrains him. Just him, the mic and the audience is best, especially for GT.

    Nice laser and light show, too.

    BTW, James Wolk, last night’s other guest, played the role of Bob Benson, a closeted gay man, on Mad Men. Bob was a complicated young man on the corporate make who knew that his career would be compromised if anybody guessed his true sexuality. He even proposed to a woman because he knew his career would be stalled if he wasn’t a “family man”.

    The LGBT storylines on Mad Men were heart breaking. One of the subplots involved Bob going to the hospital to pick up a friend who was the victim of a gay-bashing.

    I hope some of the more well know gossip shows like Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and the “like” will pick up on the parody (& GT) from last night. I was just so teriffic.

    Like bridgette12 said on MJ’s, he sang it with all the power & beauty just like he was singing with Queen.
