A very exciting past month for Adam – and for ALL of us, as well. Events from Chatty Man to Live Aid to Fallon to GMA to Trailblazers – and the interviews so numerous they became hard to keep track of. In addition, more beautiful photos including the stunning FAULT magazine with a more “uncovered” Adam than we’re used to seeing. Then, all through the later part of the month the watching for the Adds on radio/Spotify/Shazam/VH1, etc., and the resultant confusion about what should be done to make it happen.

Congrats to Adam for The Original High debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart. He may not have been number one but the album is getting good reviews and promotion is going well. The single, Ghost Town, is slowly moving up the HAC, CHR and AC charts. To top it all off, though, was the gay marriage ruling which must have given Adam, considering all he’s been through and all he’s done for the cause, immense gratification and happiness.

And onto July…summer may be vacation time for most but to Adam it will be more TV and radio promotion with some special performances thrown in – Splashion, The Trevor Project – and more.

    Really enjoyed the ‘Dyke About Town’ interview and ITA with Mils that he was talking about Cheeks.

    Do we know what Cheeks is doing these days? Is he still doing Husbands? That was a cute project.

    Love the picture on top! I was really distracted Monday because of all those pics. Didn’t manage to do much work. Also pushed the wrong button in the elevator because my mind was elsewhere.

    We went into a heat wave from Tuesday here in the Netherlands, but for me that started Monday already with those gorgeous pictures.

    Stopping in to say hi, holiday season going on here. First heatwave of the summer! Today on our drive to countryside we stopped in a supermarket and guess what was playing – Lucy! I was excited Big Smile I think they have own playlists on stores, not radio on.

    Been busy with guests to catch up but saw the FAULT pics. Omg smoking hot! I showed them to my friend who was visiting and she agreed. Grin Thank you for all the things brought here, will catch up later while sipping a drink outdoors…

    I took a minute to do the quiz luval posted. Got 23 too, lol. I guess I didn’t know the “older” answers correct… I dont know anything about sports! And truth is that being a glambert teaches things I shouldn’t know about!

    ITA. If there was any doubt he mentions that he was 24. In keeping with the theme of The Original High, there is an old saying that everyone has 3 loves: the first one, the one you marry and the one that got away.

    Adam has said many times that Brad was his first love. He might also quite possibly be the one that got away. A heartbreaking combination.

    Very interesting juxtaposition of photos, Ron. The difference goes beyond one of them being clothed and the other not.

    In the first photo Adam is saying “Look at me.”

    In the second photo he is looking at us; directly and actively engaging. He’s saying “Here’s looking at you.”

    In the former he is saying “Make of me what you will; project onto me”. In the latter, he is saying “This is who I am.

    The show of skin is both deliberate (a confident reveal of the body and the meanings behind it’s carefully considered art) and incidental (subordinate to and expressive of the mind behind that art.)

    The difference is huge.

She said to me : ” are you drooling ?” … I replied : “yes”, but down inside… i was asking myself.. when will we finally get our shirtless picture from Adam ?..     Here are some candid photos taken by Mr. P last week at lunch time after we’d met with Adam. I don’t know how he does it but I’m never aware when Mr. P is taking these photos. Sneaky little devil. Devil

    I centered these photos around what I had for lunch: Poutine!

    Most of us will remember all the discussions about French Canadian Poutine as the Ste.-Agathe concert approached.

    nkd? Now THIS is Poutine! What ever we had in Ste.-Agathe was NOT Poutine. I don’t know what that was. Yes, I do. It was awful!

    This particular dish on the menu is called – Poutine – The Works and they aren’t kidding. Laugh

    French fries, covered with rich, brown gravy, melted cheese curds, bacon strips, diced tomatoes, chopped shallots and sour cream.

    I wasn’t in the mood for anything too heavy that day. Wink

    It was S-O-O good! Eat
