A very exciting past month for Adam – and for ALL of us, as well. Events from Chatty Man to Live Aid to Fallon to GMA to Trailblazers – and the interviews so numerous they became hard to keep track of. In addition, more beautiful photos including the stunning FAULT magazine with a more “uncovered” Adam than we’re used to seeing. Then, all through the later part of the month the watching for the Adds on radio/Spotify/Shazam/VH1, etc., and the resultant confusion about what should be done to make it happen.

Congrats to Adam for The Original High debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart. He may not have been number one but the album is getting good reviews and promotion is going well. The single, Ghost Town, is slowly moving up the HAC, CHR and AC charts. To top it all off, though, was the gay marriage ruling which must have given Adam, considering all he’s been through and all he’s done for the cause, immense gratification and happiness.

And onto July…summer may be vacation time for most but to Adam it will be more TV and radio promotion with some special performances thrown in – Splashion, The Trevor Project – and more.

    Thanks for that luval…the interview is great, love it when they just let Adam talk without all the silly repetitive questions. And that ALN performance, wow, loved it….even better than the album version.

    My son loves GT because of the deep house on it…I said to him yesterday in the car that he should listen to The Light, as to me it has some of the same type of beat as GT, so he did, and he really liked it too, said they were both banging songs…..

    yes, HK fan the interview is really good but has definitely been edited with some details seeming to be relating to one thing but actually belonging with something else that was left out (e.g. working w/ Nile Rogers and Pharell sounds like it goes with 1st album and we know otherwise.) But it’s always nice to hear Adam speaking and he was so comfortable there!

    Finally, we have Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” moving into the top 30 on AC. The song is charting in the top 30 of all Mainstream formats (top 20 on HAC).

    Ghost Town” debuted on several Japanese radio airplay charts this week. It also debuted on the Tokio Hot 100 which is similar to the US’s American Top 40.

With a doctorate in astrophysics, lead guitarist Brian May, here in 2015, recently joined experts at the London Science Museum to discuss asteroids. An AIDS fund-raiser honoring Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 at age 45, is set for September.
