Yes, Queen does have a song called Bicycle. It’s not a particular favourite of mine, though I have it on my iPod and hit it by accident every now and then. It’s from the 80’s and was inspired by the Tour de France, apparently, but beyond that, I don’t know much else. Here’s a link to the lyrics:

Not MTV. I do think MTV banned it. It was quite controversial at the time, due to naked girls bike riding.

It was a popular song, not my favorite Queen song, but, I do remember the to-do about the naked girls.

LOL mils, you really seem to know how to find them. I do have this one friend-of-a- friend who fell in love with Adam on Glee. She is attending the July 13th concert and has taken the day off work to meet everyone. She’s quite excited, actually. (She’s still hoping that Kurt and Elliott will get together, which is a pretty big leap for a long time GLEE fan.)
I am posting this here and on the QAL thread. Before I leave I want to download a full QAL concert to my IPod. I can’t go back and look and compare to find a
goodbest one, as fun (and time consuming) as that would be. Anyone here have a recommendation, and a link to a download? I will be forever gratefulmils– I love the fringes too. I’ve been a big fan of fringes ever since I first saw them on Jimi Hendrix at a concert in 1968. They’re so dramatic and sexy, and Adam wears them very, very well.
I hate scalpers (promoters themselves) ! Hard Rock has opened up gold circle tickets and table seats for Vegas both nights at face value! The same tickets that were being sold on a famous scalper site just recently for 3x the price!

I really like the first pic too, but c’mon, the bike riding pic deserves some points!
I don’t quite like the leopard suit either. If it was for me he could stay all night in the Dragon attack pants. Was not going to comment on it but those damn thighs in those damn pants couldn’t be ignored in San Jose , and the fringe sleeves slightly sliding off the shoulders did not help either.
lol….I was at my dentist this afternoon and while waiting for him I was “fiddling” with my crystal crown I had attached to my purse. The tech came over and said “oh, are you a princess”? That opened up the Queen with Adam Lambert…follow him/them all over…friends…adventures because of him, etc etc. etc. You guys all know what I”m talking about. Then the dentist came over and said “oh you’re an Adam Lambert follower”. So I began again with the discussion. (I think the dentist is gay…my gaydar told me so). He’s a wonderful guy and probably could have listened to me all day but there were other patients there.
Anyway, like mils somewhat, the conversation always turns into Adam and anything connected with him.
I asked a question on the San Jose thread regarding Killer Queen that is up top there. GREAT video. Does Adam seem surprised when Brian shows up at the end of the couch? Don’t think he’s done that before.
It’s funny, luval, I find myself steering the convo sometimes. If the subject at hand is “what do you watch on TV?” I’ll lead in with I like Idol, do you watch? And if the answer is yes, I go with ” who did you like” or did you have a favorite contestant? If the answer is Lee Dwyze or P2, I stop there. Or, I maybe say, my favorite of all was Adam Lambert.
I look for responses, and go from there.
But, yesterday, I could tell by the kind of gal she was, a real spark plug, and when I asked her who her fave was, she instantly said Adam, and I knew I had a green light!!
Luval…In answer to your question: No, I don’t think Adam expected to see Brian by the couch; Brian had a faint impish grin on his face when Adam turned around and saw him standing there. That’s not the spot where Brian usually stands during that song. I get such a kick out of seeing those guys clowning around and having fun with each other.
