With Adam out on tour with Queen, the main chat threads are relatively quiet but we still need a place where we can discuss all things Adam that are not Q+AL concert-related. However, I did choose a Q+AL+Band photo for this month’s thread since there are many great Adam photos and mlg posters in the concert threads for everyone to drool over. And after all, it is the summer of Queen + Adam Lambert!!

    Back from the concert.

    Wow. That was incredible from top to bottom. I haven’t been to a balls to the walls ROCK show like that in a long while! The crowd was super pumped and enthusiastic. I was up front, but couldn’t see much once the crowd stood.

    Adam interprets those songs in his unique and powerful, but always with reverence to the legacy of Queen. I think that’s why the tour works so well as a showcase for those songs in the 21st century.

    We all know what an incredible singer Adam is, but Brian and Roger still bring passion and vitality to their beloved songs. The songs still sound fresh and exciting.

    I’ll have more later, hopefully some videos will be posted on you tube. NO WAY could I have gotten any videos. Too much commotion around me. But I DID take some instagram vids. Check them out here http://instagram.com/mjsbigblog

    I’m here Cher, I think I have to give the second one a miss. I already have both Melbourne shows and Auckland on 3rd Sept.
    The second show sold out in about 10 mins apart from very poor seats. There were still people unable to get a ticket!

    Ticketmaster (handling Q+AL ticket sales) are asking the public if they want another show in NZ. Would they do this unless there was a possibility? Surely not! I know the first two shows are a sell out and went super-fast.

    Kiwi, just curious, there are no secondary seller sites in NZ?

    Guys, I think I know why Adam wears the vest.
    When he wears the sleeves with only the tanktop, the buckle (and the strap) lie directly on his bare skin. As much as he moves around, and night after night, I bet it was chafing and maybe even causing some skin abrasions. The vest provides a barrier. I went back and looked at Dallas and earlier shows.

    asmallworld.…you are right as to the meaning of what Adam is doing in that picture…I remember it caused a lot of posters on 24/7 to really get their knickers in a twist…..

    only 3 hours till I have to leave for the airport……stomachs really on edge now…trying to take my mind off it by rewatching my AI 8 dvd in between packing…
