With Adam out on tour with Queen, the main chat threads are relatively quiet but we still need a place where we can discuss all things Adam that are not Q+AL concert-related. However, I did choose a Q+AL+Band photo for this month’s thread since there are many great Adam photos and mlg posters in the concert threads for everyone to drool over. And after all, it is the summer of Queen + Adam Lambert!!

    On another note, it’ll be interesting what kind of press or radio happens in NY. I hope Elvis Duran gives them a shout out, and maybe Howard Stern.

    I’m thinking about D.C., mils, if Chris Richards of WaPo gets the review (not a fan from his past review of Adam at 9:30 Club in D.C.). Don’t think the gal at the Post is either (Alison Stewart).

    Hello,
    I occasionally get on here and love reading through some entries and looking at all the wonderful videos. Was wondering if anyone is making t-shirts or other merchandise for this tour, besides what they were selling at the venue. Would love more options for shirts like the posters put together on this site. Thanks!

    As to your t-shirt question, the only one here that I know of who made a special t-shirt (or had one made) was cher. It was gold crown with “BERT” underneath.

    I wonder if Ferras is opening for Katy Perry. He is on her new label so this would be a good way to promote him and his music.
    I had a feeling that Adam would stay for the concert anf fly to Philly tomorrow.

    I follow both Katy and Ferras on Instagram and yes he is opening for her. I also follow Lamberlust and his wife and they are modeling Queen + Adam t-shirts and may have some sources listed. I’m sure he went to see his friend sing. Ferras as I remember was a good song writer also. Welcome lurkers, it might be a good time to become non-lurckers. Big Smile

    Adamized, cwm and I are starting our crazy lady concert marathon tomorrow- four concerts in eight days! Nkd will also be with us for the first three concerts. We’re starting off tomorrow in the splash zone in Philadelphia, followed by MSG, Maryland, and East Rutherford, NJ. I’m so excited about seeing so many ALLers at MSG, including rs who’s coming back to Maryland with us for a taste of our southern heat and humidity hospitality. It’s going to be crazy and incredibly fun. We’ll do our best to keep you updated.

    New to the site…only discovered Adam a little over a year ago..but since then it’s been an awesome ride! Met other fans on blogs and chats and finally saw Queenbert two weeks ago at the Forum in LA. It was unbelievable, no works can describe the experience,Adam was mesmerizing! So I wrote this short ode to him-

    Oh, noble King of Glam rock, in all your regal glory
    may your loyal subjects proclaim your praise
    at the pageantry of allegiance to the “Queen”

    OT but discussed in a couple of concert threads, both Brian May AND Adam thanked Chicago after their first night. I posted the actual tweets at the end of the Toronto thread, if anyone is interested and doesn’t want to go through TONS of Brian’s tweets and a couple dozen of Adam’s. Brian is a very prolific tweeter!
    Night all. Too tired for recap, maybe later. Spent the day checking our pre-MSG dinner venue and wandering the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And yes, rs the art fiend struck again hence both I AND riskyhubby were seduced into a museum jaunt. Only this time it wasn’t snowed-in London lol! I wish I could camp out in the Met for a few months! Just marvellous!

    well I guess you can add a NZ show in Auckland on the 3rd September. Worst kept secret in Q+AL fandom…so I’ll go from drooling over the North American tour to seeing 2 shows in Australia and (hopefully) one at home..I am a LUCKY LUCKY Kiwi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So I went out to dinner with my cousin and his wife last night, 60ish hip New Yorkers. She is sooooo excited about seeing Justin Timberlake in September. She just loves an entertaining show. Me: You like entertainment, you should see Adam and Queen. He is the ultimate entertainer. Her: I don’t like his voice… He is a great Queen fan, and I gave him a DVD of Adam and Queen at Hammersmith (no idea if he saw it). Me: You should come to the show! Him: No, Freddie is my guy.
    No convincing them. Not worth even trying. Their loss.

    BUT…they are delighted for me that I have this incredible new group of friends. They think that it is fantastic, and they are secretly jealous of all the fun that I am having.

    Can’t wait to see a whole new group tomorrow at the Tick Tock.

    And yes, I am guilty of introducing riskylady & riskyhubby to the Met yesterday, and they loved it! I left them there, so I don’ know how much longer they stayed, maybe hours. It is so easy to get lost among the wonders there.

    Although Adam has promoted Ferras several times, and we’ve seen photos over the years of them out and about, I’d never actually listened to him singing. But this afternoon, I decided to….and wow, what a great voice, really liked him and some of his songs.

    Hi All, You would not believe what I am going through to get myself to CT for the concert Sat night. I bought tickets for 4 family members that are Adam converts and they are so excited. One of them is my oldest son who is taking the train down from Brooklyn. So, what is my drama, you ask? Well, Friday morning I leaned over the bathroon sink to brush my teeth and my lower back just went out. Get into the doctor and get an injection scheduled for today, I’m an hour and 1/2 from the procedure and get a call that the insurance is rejecting the pre-certification. Well, I totally lost it for about 2 hours, but this much I know. I am going!!!!! I will let others drag my luggage around, make the doctor prescribe me what the hell ever drugs I need to prop me up through this and I will get through it. Now, there is a small chance it could still happen tomorrow,but I am not counting on it. I hope whatever he gives me will allow me to stand up straight because I have’t been able to in several days. Hate getting old, but we must party on!!!!
